Service manager Ron J. did not follow through with his warranty obligation. Truck ticks like a model A and is going through 2-3 QTs of oil every 3 days.. terrible shop terrible business practices. Basically Robbed by Rob rude disrespectful unprofessional. Had to have the Norwich PD contact me and tell me to not contact garage of go to property.. clearly they couldn't handle the job. The owner refused to fix it because the entire underneath was completely rotted out. He could have fixed it and made money off it, but refused because the vehicle wasn't safe. Until.... my current car guy (norwich tire, their awesome!) didn't have the diagnostic equipment to figure out why my Chevy S-10 was ready to stall at every stop. I really trust Bob at Norwich Tire (NT been in the industry, same location for a couple generations) and asked him to recommend someone. With out any hesitation he suggested 2 different local companys. I thought I'd give Charlie & Dougs a try. When I walked in to their place, I was SHOCKED! The place is so clean, well organized, virtually spot-less and the people were friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and right on top of things. It went off like clock work. They called, explained the problem, answered all my questions. No unpleasant surprises... The shop blamed it on the interlock company saying the devices are old but it's so obviously the way they installed it!! I'll insert a photo of the wires and how dirty they left my brand new car. They couldn't even place a paper mat to keep my mat clean while they installed it? The owner Mark will dodge you if you have any problems. When I went to get the wires fixed, he wouldn't come talk to me for 30 minutes. He gave me his personal cell, and still doesn't answer my questions.
