I looked on yelp for the nearest highly rated garage and A1 came up first. With 150 miles to go to get home, I needed at least a temporary repair in order to get to my mechanic where I live. I pulled in to A1 without an appointment and a really noisy car. They got my car patched up in less than half an hour and for less than $100. I made it home with no problem and I'm still shaking my head over my good fortune to find this honest business out of the blue far from home. Highest recommendation.

I walked into D&D today for the first time and asked him if he could program the origianal factory default values for the transmission (the fix I saw on a you tube video). He knew exactly what I was asking for, got his high end scan tool and had it done, including a test drive, in 15 minutes. My shift problem is now fixed and the transmission also seems to shift better between all six speeds. The mechanic who posted my answer on you tube, received many thank you comments, mostly from other mechanics, who wasn't aware of this option. I would recommend to go see Dave at D&D for any transmission issue. BTW: my car is 2013 Camry SE, 2.5 L, six speed A/T, 117k

After getting the car to start, we found Bill's Auto, near our location. A phone call inquiring about purchasing a battery led to us traveling down the road to have it installed. How amazing to discover Bill's Auto. Bill's Auto did not hesitate to find a battery and then have it delivered to their garage and promptly replaced the battery. It was almost closing time for their business but they never even mentioned that. We left Bill's Auto with a relaxed feeling after a very stressful day!!

The car processes have gone smoothly and they have always been under the prices of the other dealers. The service dept has always tried to accommodate my needs. One time I was worried about a short hesitation while driving, and when I called, they told me to come right down to make sure the car was safe to continue driving it. Bobbi has been my salesperson. She has an upbeat, amazing personality. She cares about the sale, but takes the time to get to know who you are and what your needs are. Watch out for her dry sense of humor. Ask her for a good recipe too. Lastly, if you need a quick vacation, the property has a beautiful water view that you can see from the deck-yes, I said deck. They were very transparent about what was actually needed vs. what would be easier to DIY. Overall, pretty good experience with the service department. Now, for the not so great. The body shop. The quoting was vague, obscenely overmarked, and they were unwilling to even try to work something out for both parties. They didn't want to take the job from the start, but instead of being professionals and simply saying they only really work on insurance claims; they decided to fabricate a bs quote. Don't take your car here if you want body work done, but they are still relatively good for general repair/maintenance.
