We love going to Bricks, and we're glad to have such a great, local pizza place in Lombard. The staff is very friendly and the pizza is lovely. My favorite pizza is the BBQ chicken with smoked gouda. We also like all of their salads. Usually my DH and I split Bricks Sticks (cheesy garlic bread), a salad and a pizza. It comes out to about $20 total - which is amazing for the amount and quality of the food. I also like that they have live music on Saturday nights which is when we go. Please note that Bricks recently got a liquor license so they do sell alcohol! read more

I can't believe I've never reviewed Bricks in Lombard since it's one of my favorite restaurants. The employees are pleasant and always helpful. Their food is fantastic. I love what the brick oven does to the taste of the pizza, which ends up with a smoky flavor and chewy texture. We usually do either the margarita or pepperoni pizza, as we aren't too adventurous with our toppings. We always get the breadsticks too and a salad to share. The salads are always really good also. My son loves the BBQ chicken sandwich, and I've had the tomato mozzarella sandwich as well, and although it was good, I felt it had too much balsamic on it, but that's probably a personal preference. They also have cookies and cakes or cannoli for dessert, all of which are really good (and free if you checkin on yelp while you're there!). Keep up the great work, Bricks)!! read more

The employees and service were very good too, everyone was very friendly. The cafe-style dining didn't bother us a bit, however they don't have much seating - at least for dinner time on Friday night. I highly recommend others to try this place if they're in the area. We went to Bricks Wood Fired Pizza for the first time today and we loved it. I ordered pizza with homemade tomato sauce, mozzarella sauce, mushrooms and red and green peppers. My mom ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. My aunt ordered the chicken Cesar salad. My little sister and cousin shared a cheese pizza. No one left there disappointed or without a full belly. Two things to be aware of: the pizza are rather large, so you might want to share, and the toppings are pretty expensive ($1 per veggie, $1.50 per meat) and you don't get a terribly large quantity. Nice atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone. read more

I have been there a number of times. The weight staff does not seem to know how to serve all the entrees at once. The other couple with us received there meal a good 5 to 10 minutes before us - we used the same number! I've stopped ordering the pizza because there seemed they don't know how to make a crispy crust. Please get it together! read more

Bricks in Lombard has a terrific selection of salads and wonderful wood fire roasted pizza. The toppings are very fresh. They have numerous selections and are always willing to make whatever you like. I highly recommend Bricks Wood Fired Pizza. The staff is terrific and the restaurant is very clean. Chicago is great for its variety of pizza, and I love living close to this place. Good sandwiches, but the pizza is perfect for one person to taste the ingredients without getting filled up on cheese or dough. Crust is thin but not crackly-crisp. Close to the train station and I think about having dinner here many nights when I get off the train. read more

We live across the street from bricks. We love their food and staff. Fast service and always ready to accommodate. There bricks bites I love it's the end of the bread with Parmesan cheese. If I were to say anything negative I like more chicken in my salad. They even serve beer and wine up relax your day. Great job bricks Lombard read more

Brix is an excellet place to go and get a a pizza in downtown Lombard! It's great but isn't the best. Most people my age love it but more adults have complants towards Brix. I would consister getting a sandwhich over their pizza. Don't get me wrong their pizza is great but their sandwhiches everyone likes where not everyone likes their pizza. read more

I can't believe all the positive feedback on this place. Last night my girlfriend and I drove from far to try this 'crispy' wood-fire pizza. Walking in we asked are the pizzas crispy? "That's the only way we make them!" We ordered a plain cheese and a Margarita pizza and a few glasses of wine. We sat down and the wine came first...very disappointed in the amount of wine they pour...maybe one mouthful. Then the pizzas arrive...looking ok at this point. We picked up the pizzas thinking they would be crispy especially right out of the oven but that wasn't' the case. SOGGY! Both pizzas. Sent them back politely and they made us a new order. We asked to have the pizzas with less cheese and well done. The pizzas arrived and looked identical to the first batch. Soggy, flimsy and disappointing. Didn't eat them either and no remorse on their part. How difficult is to make a pizza crispy? In today's times and economy you should get what you pay for and be satisfied with it. For 30+ dollars and soggy pizza the one star I gave was generous. read more

Food was great and a good value. I especially liked the ham and pineapple with almonds and cinnamon. Ordered a side salad that was kind of "eh." Nothing wrong with it but the pizza was so freaking good the salad paled in comparison. Service was very nice and tried very much to be helpful but was very disorganized. You order at the counter and they bring the stuff to you. I think they recently expanded so maybe they are still working out the kinks but it was confusing with ordering and the food came out inconsistently. Beer was also not cold and took FOREVER. I think the drinks should have been given to us immediately and food brought to us but it took at least 15 minutes to get us the beers and I had to ask for them 3 times. I think this was just confusion and poor processes rather than bad service per se, but it sucked regardless. Make sure you tell them you saw Yelp as they will give you a free dessert. We got 4 free desserts!! I will definitely go back and if they can get the service figured out, I will change my rating to 5 stars!! read more

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Lombard. The service is great, the workers are very friendly and it has a cute little atmosphere with plenty of seating. My favorite meal is a bowl of the Baja Chicken soup and an order of the Spinach and Artichoke dip. The dip is a relatively new addition to their menu that was added when they expanded to a few new locations and it is the best! I often get an extra order of the pita bread that goes with it as the amount of dip they serve is plentiful enough to eat with two servings of the bread (at least for me). I love to eat here alone when I have some time to myself and we eat here as a family, too. My only complaint/hope is that they will add an item or two to their menu for kids - grilled cheese, please? My 3 year old will eat a pepperoni pizza here but finds it to be a bit spicy. I also wish they opened at 11 on Sundays (instead of 12). But all in all, I love this place! read more

We live one block from this place and really liked it when it first opened at their original location, ordering only pizza. When they moved to the present location they expanded the menu and we tried their salads, sandwiches and soups. We ate there once a week until I ordered the Italian Grinder and the meat was rancid. My wife called the lady who we believed was the night manager and told her that maybe the kids working there needed better training in food handling. I wouldn't go back there, but gave in a few months later and ordered the Big Kahuna Tuna sandwich. It was delicious. I ordered one the next week and spent the rest of the night and following day vomiting and belching tuna. I had not gone back to this place until a moment of weakness and expedience today. I ordered the Italian Grinder sandwich to go. After having to repeat my order 3 times because the kid at the counter couldn't concentrate on his job, I got home, opened the wrapper and lo and behold I don't know what this sandwich is, but it isn't what I ordered.
