I was also told I had a software recall so they offered to do that as well. 5 minutes later I had a manager come out to tell me a technician fried the software. This software part was on back order and I was put in a rental for 6 months. I tried to ask for updates and my calls were ignored specifically by Christian and Zach. I even showed up unannounced in hopes of getting an answer and I was told "Christian was unavailable" . I just got my jeep back yesterday and was also told it was going to be detailed for the inconvenience...it was covered in pollen, clearly hadn't been washed since I dropped it off, and definitely not "detailed". The entire service department acted like it was such an inconvenience for me to pick up my vehicle. There's also a scape near my back left tire that I know for a fact was not there before and I am unable to get it off. This dealership is awful, especially the service department. Only positive experience was the rental department. I will make sure to let people know not to bring any vehicles here or buy from here.

It took several days for anyone to see if the parts were in stock or needed to be ordered. I heard back from them that it was ready to install (don't know if it was in stock the whole time or not}. I am located 2 hours away. I made the appointment and went down today. They were trying to charge more than the estimate and I asked Linda why. She went in the back and then a woman came out ready for a fight. She immediately jumped down my throat. Not sure if I am spelling her name correctly but it was Rahel something. I think she was the manager of the collision department. She said that the price is the price and it didn't matter what Greg quoted. We were arguing in loud voices. I asked several times if Greg was there but she would not call him out. My sister was there and could not believe what a witch Rahel was. It was truly amazing how bad she verbally attacked me. She yelled that her estimate was correct and it was what it was. My blood pressure was sky high. It wasn't the dollar amount of the increase but the fact that she refused to honor the estimate. While we were fighting loudly in the entry, Linda went back and got Greg. Greg came out and explained to Rahel why the price was what it was and she stormed off. Rahel has no business interfacing with customers. Absolutely horrific. Linda took over who was trying to be accommodating. When I came back to pick up the car I inspected the grill. The painted part of the little bumper was not even the right color of the car. It is not even in the same color palette. I was so frustrated with how I was treated by Rahel and to avoid another episode, I didn't even mention it.

    PLEASE READ THIS before taking your Genesis here for service!…read more​I took my Genesis G70 2.0T to Genesis of Cumming for the high-pressure fuel pump recall (Recall 023G / NHTSA ID: 24V-528). They informed me the pump looked fine and that they only needed to perform an ECM update. That is when the nightmare began. ​Immediately upon getting my keys back, the Check Engine light was on. I handed the keys right back. They claimed the technician forgot to do a "capacitive discharge" after the ECM update, took it back, and returned it a few minutes later with the light off. Five minutes into my drive home, the light came back on. ​I brought the car back a third time. They kept it for 2.5 hours, assured me it was fixed, but the moment I started the car, the light was on again. After taking it back again, they claimed they didn't know what the issue was because they "couldn't see any error codes." I repeatedly told them the car was perfectly fine before they touched it, and this only started after their ECM update. Their response? They told me they would charge me for any additional troubleshooting. When I got upset that I was being asked to pay for an issue they clearly caused, a service advisor literally told me, "not necessarily [caused by us]." They are fully willing to look you in the face, deny accountability, and imply the customer is lying. It is a bunch of incompetent people working in this service department. ​Instead of arguing further, I left and opened a case with Genesis Corporate. Corporate was much more helpful, but because Genesis of Cumming completely bricked my vehicle's computer, I had to take it to Rick Case Genesis to get it fixed properly. Rick Case discovered that the entire ECM unit had to be replaced because Genesis of Cumming completely messed up the software update. I had to pay a $325 diagnostic fee out of pocket just to fix Cumming's mistake (which I am currently fighting corporate to reimburse). ​Even if you buy a vehicle from this dealership, do not get it serviced here. They will ruin your car and try to charge you for it. Save yourself the stress and take it to Rick Case Genesis or literally any other dealership.

    Bought a car with them but they wouldn't give it to me the day of sale, saying they needed more…read moretime to clean it up. I wanted to take my car home and it had seemed clean enough when we test drove it an hour before but they insisted and gave me a loaner instead. When I came to pick up the car it smelled vaguely of gas but I didn't think too much of it. By that evening the gasoline smell was nauseating. They never admitted it but it seems they'd overfilled the gas tank. It took a week before the smell went away. On top of that, within about week or two one of the wipers was falling off and the battery for the one key fob they'd given me was in need of a change. Given all this I have no confidence in their mechanical team's attention to detail. Wish that were the end though. After a month and a half and several phone calls they still hadn't sent out my license plate and couldn't explain why not. Spoke with several finance people who promised to look into it and call back with an answer and they never did. Bottom line go elsewhere if you can. This place has serious problems at many levels. Even if they have a slightly better price you'll get a much better experience at other nearby dealerships. I've bought from milton-martin in gainesville and carland in alpharetta and had great experiences both times.
