Fast take-out, with great pizzas and salads. I highly recommend the taco salad with chicken. The chipotle ranch dressing was excellent.

Every time we visit Palm Desert or drive to AZ, we stop here. The whole family loves this place. The food is delicious, particularly the sour dough crust pizza. The service is always very friendly. And if you like sports, there are plenty of TVs. There is not a kids menu, but all of the food is kid-friendly. read more

We've lived here in the desert for a super long time, and for some reason we are still looking for that elusive go-to pizza place. Billy Q's lived up to their great Yelp reviews when we stopped in for our first visit tonight! Food and service were both outstanding, and the restaurant was small but clean with a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. We ordered the Works pizza which came with a crisp thin crust, lots of flavorful toppings, and it was happily not swimming in sauce which always ruins a pizza IMO! We loved it! They had ice-cold craft and domestic beer on tap which was nice on a really hot, about-to-rain day in the desert. One notable thing was how the staff worked as team as I have rarely seen before. When a large order needed serving, they all showed up and got it out without discussion, and the clean up for the large tables went the same way. Good teamwork equals good service which is what we got. We plan to go back for pizza again and would like to try out some of the sandwiches as well. Hope to get them to one day make me a Philly cheese steak even though it's not on the menu!! That would something!! read more

Drove all day with my mom and kid all I wanted to do was grab some grub and go to bed. So I checked out yelp for the closest pizza place and it brought up Billy Q's . We had the works pizza, chicken strips, salad and mozzarella sticks.. ok so here is my review the pizza was really good not greasy ,sauce was just right.. the rest was okay nothing to rave about.. the mozzarella sticks were not sticks they were triangles large triangles. Once again a fantastic home made meal! I tried the pastrami this time and it was fantastic! My only recommendation if you are like me and don't fully loaded sandwiches, just ask them to remove what you don't like and they are so happy to do so. My mother however loves the fully loaded ultra think delicious sandwich was very satisfied with her sandwich. Great place I recommend everyone to visit. We were staying at the Westin and had a pizza craving. Hubby found Billy Q's on Yelp and we decided to order take out. The Hawaiian (pineapple and Canadian bacon was delicious! They load up the topping and then sprinkle extra cheese on top to make it all gooey and delicious. Fast, inexpensive and great quality. Highly recommend! read more

I've been wanting good pizza and there's not many places in this valley for that. We ordered The Works and some wings and my husband picked it up and we ate at home. The pizza was very good with lots of toppings. They're definitely not stingy with the toppings and the wings were nice and crispy. I liked that the sauces came on the side so the wings didn't get soggy. I'm looking forward to trying out more items, it looks like they have a big menu. read more

Rolled into town after spending 4 hours in the car with 2 young children and we were starving. Needed a quick stop to grab food bf we hit the hotel. We picked this place by chance and are so happy we did. You just know you're in a place when people care about the food they serve and their restaurant. All the staff was incredibly friendly. Been to Palm Desert numerous times, but just discovered Billy Q's. We phoned in a takeout order. Ready in 15 minutes as promised. Restaurant is conveniently located, but small inside. Maybe had seating for 40-50 people. Enough TVs and beer to make it a nice alternative to a larger sports bar or restaurant. Very impressed with the BBQ Chicken pizza. Thin, cracker-like crust is standard. Very good if you prefer to taste the toppings instead of the bread. Also had a Chicken Caesar salad with delicious dressing. We'll definitely be back. read more
