From the time you step inside Billy Q's you definitely know you are in the right place, The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and the food is by far the best. The quality presentation and taste leave nothing behind. Billy Q makes the best pizza I have ever had. We live in Canada but enjoy visiting the LaQuinta area during the winter months and of course our first stop is Billy Q's restaurant. We look forward to dining and tasting the different items on their vast menu. We have not been disappointed yet!!!! The pizzas are out of this world, as are the sandwiches, homemade chips, salads and more. The service is right up there also. Darnelle leads her staff in the friendliest greetings you could ever hope for. She really sets the mood for a great time. And Billy and his kitchen crew follows up with fabulous tasting dishes. I have eaten at Billy Q's for about two years now. I have eaten in the restaurant and ordered to go orders. The pizza and the salads are outstanding. However this past weekend on Saturday night, we called in two pizza's and two salads. They said the wait was 45 minutes. We arrived 45 minutes later expecting the order to be ready. A man arrived right before us and placed a to go order for a pizza. I watched them put his order in. Then it appeared my two pizza's were being put in the oven after. Well the man received his pizza before ours. I asked one of the staff why would my pizza's we called in 45 minutes ago come out after someone who walked in and ordered just before us, he had no answer. They close at 9:00 which is pretty early for a busy restaurant. They had 4 other parties walk in near 9:00 and they could only order to go orders. It was disappointing that a place that has good food struggles with service. In two years this was the first time I've experienced this. I will return, but will just go there to order it to go. read more

Tiny place with lots of energy! We all ordered different things....MAC an cheese (delicious), meatball sandwich was average with three good size meatballs, Philly cheesesteak was loaded and good and the marguerite pizza was great with a thin crispy crust, fresh tomatoes, basil and lots of stringy cheese! All our food was brought out piping hot. The guys running this place are very friendly, knowledgeable about their menu and give very good service. When we head back that way we'll be stopping by again! read more

Go here often for pizza cause their crust is thin how we like it, and have quality toppings. Today, after asking me if I wanted more dressing for wings (they only give you 1 container for 8 wings and veggies), AND AFTER leaving almost a 20% tip on a $100 takeout order, they wanted to charge me $0.81 for one extra container of dressing!! So we're here on vacation and decided to give this spot a try based on the good reviews. There were so many choices of pizzas so I decided to buy 4 individuals for the family to try. The phildogs,Mac n cheese, Paulies, and the BBQ chicken. All 4 were delicious, my fav was the phildogs . Not only was the food delicious but the staff was beyonds friendly and welcoming, by far the nicest locals I've met on this trip! Highly recommended !! read more

Discovered this place the day before I left the desert and it's a hidden gem. Ordered two small personal pizzas and both tasted great! The woman working was very efficient and the service was super quick. I think it's a little pricey for such a small because we paid $19 for two personal pizzas and a soda. But the taste was worth it. Had to stop in and try it for myself. First of all let me say this. You can't compare places you've been to and say they don't stack up to what you've had and base a score on past experiences. Talk about living in the past. Sooooo.... I came to this Desert gem after a crazy day of golf. The order. Pastrami sandwich with beer battered fries, chicken wings, chicken parm sandwich, and medium Phil dogs pizza! Everything was bombdotcom! I only go to a couple pizza joints in the desert, I will be adding billy q's to my must eats. It was so good I came back the next day before leaving town and got my fix. Got to meet thee Billy himself and the Dashing Darnelle who took care of business. Thank you All at Billy's who made me an addict of the good stuff. See you next time I'm in town. read more

We picked up pizzas last year when we stayed in Palm Desert and they were so good! My brother in law is a total foodie and said this pizza was the bomb! We ordered a bunch of different ones. Last month we were back in the desert and dined there. My daughter and I shared a gluten free pizza and it actually liked the crust better than the sourdough. It was super tasty. My other daughter and her friend shared a thin crust cheese and it was yummy too. The french fries were surprisingly delish for a pizza place. Tried it for the first time today for Fathers Day and really loved it overall. Works pizza very good, salad fresh and tasty, Mac and cheese just ok - a little sticky / gummy in the cheese dept. personal size veggie for my wife - she said it was great! BEST gluten free pizza I've ever had (I ordered the BBQ Chicken one). Crust is thin but holds up well to the sauce. And oh the BBQ sauce, a bit sweet, a bit spicy and so so good. The GF option only comes in the small size and it comes to about $22 so not cheap but worth it! read more

I traveled from San Diego and got catering for a party of 40. I had more than enough food and the owner was a pleasure to work with! I got pizza, pasta, salad, sandwich and garlic bread and my guests were happy with everything. She recommended the Mac-n-cheese pizza and it was a huge hit. The only complaint was that the Italian dressing for the salad was a little too robust for some so I recommend requesting the oil and vinegar as well. We had guests with food allergies and vegan diets and they accommodated all diets. They include the chafing dishes at no extra charge. The staff helped us load up the car. Everything was ready right on time when I arrived. I would recommend them for your party needs! read more

In for Desert Trip and wanted pizza. Billy Qs did not disappoint! Being from the East Coast I'm kind of a pizza snob. This pizza was incredible! We had a pizza that was half one of the house specials (BBQ chicken) and a make your own veggie. Both were excellent. I highly recommend Billy Qs.
