I was in Indio for a couple months and had a huge craving for delicious pizza. As I was browsing Yelp for pizza joints, I saw that this place had Mac and cheese pizza. I know what you're thinking..wth? It sounded like it would be too cheesy or heavy but they do it juuuuuust right. The top was crispy to perfection and the crust was delicious! They do half-halfs so I went with a refreshing Mediterranean half which was also very good. Pair the pizza with a nice cold beer and you've got a great night ahead of you. read more

A great spot to stop in and bring a pizza home. The choices are abundant, with options like mac and cheeses pizza and the classics. I have to admit I stick to the classics and do enjoy them. The restaurant is a bit small, mainly because the locals are there, and it is always packed. I am not a fan of smaller establishments so I always choose to take my pie home, and come to think of it I almost always find myself stopping by to grab a pizza when I am driving in from out of town. I don't live around here anymore but when I'm home visiting family, I'm always like "why doesn't this place have good pizza anywhere". Well, after forgetting something at my parents' house on the way out today, we decided to meet off of Cook street to get my stuff and I was hungry so we popped in. I was impressed with their options and because I was in a hurry didn't look around the menu much and ordered just a simple pepperoni and pineapple pizza to share with my mom and nieces who graciously met me. We got the sourdough crust which was great. I almost want to try their regular crust though as I realize I need to judge a pizza based on the original. It appears the sourdough is the "thing" there. They also have more than pizza that looked good too. Some great beer selections which made this craft beer snob happy, but alas I was about to hit the road. read more

Tonight was my second time coming in and I really feel the need to say something about how great this place is! Not only is the service and atmosphere awesome but the food is crazy good!! So as funny as this may seem I haven't even tried their pizza. Both times I stopped in I've gotten a fish taco and Mac and cheese (maybe sounds like a weird combo) BUT they're amazinggg! Great pizza at the Sun City location. Might be hard to find if you aren't a resident. Fast and efficient. The Works has too many ingredients for me so I just remove the hamburger and ham and it's perfect. The small was plenty for two people who love to eat pizza. Perfect. read more

It would've been a good pizza except it was missing an essential part, the tomato sauce! We ordered a pizza of our own making, mushrooms, bell peppers, pesto (an add on) and sausage and a specialty salad. After ordering, I pestered my dad to make sure pesto would not be the sauce on the pizza (I'm just not a fan), so he called back an made sure it would be a pizza with tomato sauce and pesto mixed in. We picked up the pizza, which looked like a normal pizza at the restaurant, and brought it back to the hotel where we find out it's a pesto based pizza sauce. No tomatoes. Needless to say I was bummed out. The toppings on the pizza were good, but as a whole I was unsatisfied. The salad was good, the dressing was a little spicy. read more

This was our first trip to Palm Springs. We decided to try this place. When we arrived, the first impression from outside wasn't that great. But I am so happy we waited to be seated rather than trying neighboring restaurant. We ordered 3 pizzas with six different toppings. It was six of us including my kids. The service is fast, staff friendly and love the pizzeria atmosphere. We were here a couple of weeks ago. It was during the week, a little later than lunch rush. We sat down, and had someone offer us drinks right away. I was myself and my friend, and my 12 year old son. I grew up in Chicago, which apparently, the owner did too. Everything was decked out in Chicago sports memorabilia which we loved. Here is why there is only two stars....and I am willing to give them another try. We all ordered the lunch special, which was a small (or personal) size pizza with a drink. My friend ordered the margherita, I ordered what I thought was the BBQ and my son ordered the cheese. His was great. You cant really screw that up. My friend had to pick out a lot of the ingredients off hers. She said they were 'old'. Mine tasted like an asian salad. who puts carrots and broccoli on a bbq pizza? The crust should have been the kicker, but it was bad. It was more like cardboard crossed with sandpaper and dusted with oregano. Maybe we will try again....maybe not order the personal size again? We were visiting Palm Springs and ordered Billy Q's based on the reviews. We had a hungry group of 11. I ordered 4 pizzas and 2 salads. We were told it would take about an hour and fifteen minutes for delivery, which was fine. I gave the person taking my order my hotel name and address and asked him to deliver to the pool. He asked me for my room number, which i gave him but I reminded him to deliver to the pool. Over 2 hours passed and I get a call from the delivery boy. He had tried to deliver to our room but of course we weren't there as I had asked for pool delivery. It turns out he is at the wrong hotel and 20 minutes away. 30 minutes later he arrives. I feel bad for the guy so tip him $15. I knew the miscommunication was not his fault. I then discover there are no napkins, plates or utensils delivered. I had to go the hotel restaurant to get these. I open up the pizzas and all 4 are horribly burnt. Not well done but black and inedible. The whole experience from start to finish was terrible. And the 11 of us were still hungry. When we called to complain, the manager refunded my credit card 50%. read more

This clean and unique restaurant has some of the best pizza around. If you go here on an empty stomach be forewarned that a single piece of pizza, specifically the Mac-n-Cheese pizza, weighs in at a half a pound. We've tried to order other menu items but just can't get past all the various choices. The staff is very helpful, always seem to be in good spirits and they get the food out quickly. Place has been packed with mostly locals each of the 3 times we've been there as the place is lively and fun. The atmosphere is a bit small and stiff as there are no booths but if you want a great pizza and a cold beer this place will make you very happy. On a recent trip to Blythe, food so good here stopped in and picked up take out to bring along another 2 hours east. Heated it up at hotel and every bit worth it. Highly recommend. read more
