What Billy Q's lacks in the pizza department they make up for with their quick, friendly service. We opted to sit outside (the only ones) and our service was still stellar. Not knowing what to expect but after seeing Billy Q's had a 4.5 average star rating we truly expected the food to be primo. While the house salad was a great size and a bargain for $4.95, the Margherita pizza left a lot to be desired. Served on thin crust the tomatoes on this pie were chopped up and not whole slices like a classic Margherita pizza and the basil was cooked versus fresh and put on the pizza after it was cooked. And who puts Parmesan cheese on a Margherita pizza?! The Works on the other hand came piled high with lots of goodies and was nice and golden brown. If you don't like heavy sauce on your pizzas you are in the right place. Overall I would probably search out a different pizzeria but pizza is the only thing I can base this review on and their menu is extensive... read more

Great new find for pizza. Very cool place; lots of tvs to watch your favorite sports game. Asked the waiter for recommendations and we ended up choosing the "Cristin" pizza. It had spinach, mushrooms, Caesar dressing and chicken on it - excellent and tasty!!!!! Kids got half pepperoni and half bacon. Also very good. The crust looked thicker in the yelp photos we looked at, but it was actually thinner. Either way, it was delicious! A few other items we tried were the buffalo wings (nice and crispy) and a side garden salad with chipotle ranch dressing. Both were very good. Service was great - young college aged kids who were very polite and helpful. I will definitely be going back soon!!!! read more

Billy Q's pizza was good but not exceptional. Ill have to try it again. They are very uniqie which makes it hard to know what pizza will be good which changes the rating. I went unique and tried a half Mac and cheese pizza, half the works. The works pizza was delicious, but the mac and cheese needed some work. I also ordered some lasagna which was average. I would go back and try something different next time but it is definitely worth a second chance. Good service as well. Young servers who are very nice and professional. read more

Love finding great places when on vacation. The pizza was so delicious! Us girls had the veggie pizza and the boys had the meat madness. Both pizzas were loaded with goodness. I don't just leave reviews when the food is good, It's when we receive great customer service. The all boy staff, was so friendly and attentive. A cozy family-run place, Billy Q's offers some good old-fashioned comfort food (??) served up with a smile. I was on my way home to Phoenix from Southern California and wanted to stop in the area for a quick dinner. After surveying the choices on Yelp, I stepped into Billy Q's and didn't look back. Yes, I know that they are known for their pizza, and it's probably pretty good, but since I wasn't in the mood for a pie, I opted for their lasagna with meatballs. The dish was served piping hot with a monster slab of lasagna in the middle of bowl, with ample amounts of sauce and a two delicious meatballs. From the first bite to the very end, I was in heaven. It tasted like the homemade treasures that my mom used to make. I didn't expect much, and was honestly surprised with how much I enjoyed the whole experience. The place isn't huge but they have a number of tables and high tops and a few TVs so you can watch the game while you eat. The service was friendly and efficient. I'll definitely be back!! read more

We came to try this place because my husband and i noticed all the good reviews on here, so we had to go try this for ourselves. This place is truly as good as it gets! From the service to the food, it just does not get any better! We tried the works pizza, as well as the BBQ chicken and the Mac N Cheese with the best tasting beer battered fries ever!....there were all too good to be true. I cant wait to go back and give the other pizzas a try. They also serve some pastas and tacos....definitely gotta give those a try as well. Was in the area and looking for a spot for lunch. With help from yelp we decided to try it out since the girls and I were craving pizza. Overall we had a good experience. The food was good. I had a personal Meat Madness which was excellent. It had a good amount of toppings and nice crispness to the crust. The wife had a personal Margherita which she said was good. The three girls shared a medium peperoni pizza and finished every piece. I use the girls to gauge how tasty a pizza by how much they eat. If there are leftovers, then the pizza was okay but not great. They finished off thier pizza and raved about how awesome it was. The waitress that served us was super friendly and personable. She chatted it up and was very welcoming. Our drinks were refilled promptly and the pizzas came out in a timely manner. My only real beef on our visit was the seating. Since there were 5 of us we had to sit at a raised table with barstool seats. The two older could sit there no problem but I wasn't going to let a 2 year old sit on one of those by herself. They only had one raised highchair which was being used when we got there. We were eventually able to use it after the family using the highchair left, but maybe they could do something to remedy that situation. Either carry more raised highchairs since the majority of the seating is at that height, or expand some of the regular sized tables to accommodate more than 4 people to a table. read more
