The place is loud. Not a lot of customers at noon but the food is decent. TVs on the wall and they do get their usuals. I'll have to come back to give an honest opinion. I had the fish and fries. Decent. Not great but not bad either. It is a little heavy on the stomach.

"I wasn't born for digging deep holes.. I'm not made for paving long roads.. I ain't cut out to climb high line poles but.. I'm pretty good at drinking beer, I'm not the type to work in a bank.. I'm no good at slapping on paint.. Don't have a knack for making motors crank, no.. But I'm pretty good at drinking beer.. We settled in at Billy's Long Bar for Beer and early lunch.. We shared the "Steak Salad" perfectly cooked rare steak in a fresh tasty Salad w. blue cheezz. Nicely split for us..:) Washed down with Harp and Guiness Nitro beer. Yes, beer was a "HalfnHalf or BlacknTan". Our Bartender was Kieran who's fun smile and looks woke us up..:) This Old School Bar and Grub was spot on..:) If we lived close enough, we would be regulars. "A go-getter, well, maybe I'm not.. I'm not known for doing a lot But I do my best work when the weather's hot.. I'm pretty good at drinking beer Best, Avram Billykurrington Jr.

One of our favorite places to grab food and drinks. Definitely not an influencer vibe but a true dive bar. They have every beer and liquor you can think of (it seems like). Service can be slow but it really depends on where you sit. The patios are more aimed towards ordering food and the bar areas more towards ordering drinks. It's also nice to see their weekly specials like frito pie.

I feel like my outing to Billy's can be best summed up by Charles Dickens, "it was the best of times, it was the worst of times." On one hand, the food was great. I loved their wings and fries. On the other hand, the service was laughably bad all around. Actually getting someone to take our order or bring us our food required nothing short of sending up signal flairs. It should be noted that it appeared to be a lack of attention and hustle as opposed to a shortage in staffing. Our wing order was initially put in incorrectly and it was a constant fight to keep our drinks full. While we were there the sun went down and we asked for the window to be closed. It was closed and it was very pleasant. Then, 30ish minutes later it was reopened. When we inquired, we were told he "had to open it". We left. At no point did we seem valued as customers by anyone in the establishment. So, taking everything into consideration I'm going with 2-stars. There is a chance that I caught them on a bad day. The food was great and they have a fantastic set up if you want to watch a sporting event. I'm not saying I'll ever come back, but I'm certainly not hurrying back.

Best dive bar in my opinion. I like the variety of people you meet here while playing pool. Their nachos are fire and the drinks are always on point. The service is always amazing. I never feel like I am waiting too long even if there are a lot of people. I love coming here for the service specifically. This one time a girl was hustling people playing pool. The server noticed her and shut that down right away. She didn't have to help but it was cool for her to be looking out.

The menus are on a vinyl, to match their theme. And their drink menu is fun. What was disappointing was that 1. we had to wait 25 minutes for a bartender to show up and get our orders, then another long time to get the drinks. After the wait, a second drink was out of the question. 2. This is a vinyl lounge, and even though they had a setup for a DJ, there was no one playing but a speaker. 3. Some or our drinks did not come out with all the "frills" and effects as described on the menu, so we missed part of the experience. Not sure if it was an off night for them but my experience wasn't great.

Despite the higher prices, I'd rate this near the top in terms of hotel amenities, mainly due to good service and a fantastic, elevated, almost 360° view of Albuquerque. If you want to socialize a bit at the end of your day, you'll find 10-20 people enjoying dinner and drinks even on a random weekday. The music is tasteful, there's good ambience, but it's quiet enough to have a conversation without yelling if you'd like to. I ordered the peach mule and pepperoni flatbread (with green Chile added, of course). The mule was great, I had to order a second. It was just peachy enough to give character without being overwhelming. The flatbread was decent, though being served on a small charcuterie board let it cool off a bit faster than I'd have liked - this my reason for 4 stars rather than 5. All in all, if you want a fantastic view and a nice place to relax at the end of the day, try Volare. The views alone make it worthwhile.

This time was no different in terms of our server's attention, personality, efficiency, and overall demeanor. V ~ was great and thank you! I am personally giving 3 stars for this bar/restaurant for 2 reasons: 1) the online menu is not updated with prices - I will delve into this more in a minute, and 2) kitchen service was slower than expected. TRULY HARD SELTZER | 7 Hard Seltzer | 5.0% ABV Secondly, 7 out of 8 of us ordered food and 1 person had to ask for her crostini 3 or 4 times. Our lovely server did take it off of her check but nontheless, we were all done eating by the time she got her food and she was so gracious about it. Another thing: why can't I make a reservation in advance for a group of more than 4 when the place was clearly not busy at 4 pm on a Tuesday? We make 3 separate reservations for 4 people. This is a social group, and we meetup via MEETUP weekly. People will RSVP and then cancel. We had 12 coming and then 8 showed up. I am not certain we will resturn.

Plenty of parking, looks dog friendly, was relatively clean. Background music was a hip-hop mix with a lot of noticeable foul language (not that it bothers me, just was abundant). Interesting that they distill their own vodka, gin, & bourbon. Might have to go back with a designated driver and try some. Tried their Jest-a-Lager & Low-Rider lagers, with both getting more bitter towards the bottom of the pint. Tasted the grapefruit lager & the unfiltered pilsner, with the latter being the smoothest finish of everything I had. I did not sample the ales or rum cask porter, which are more inline with what I prefer because of my drive and empty stomach. My friend had the hazy, West Coast, New England & red rye IPAs (boo, don't get the fascination) and took home a 4-pack of their Off the Rails red rye IPA, his favorite of the bunch. They sell cans of most of their beers (sorry, not the 12% rum cask porter) and their hootch. They do fill growlers, but don't have any to fill/sell... too old school I guess. For Yelpers, their Yelp info isn't up to date with the hours of operation off in 2 places and the menu outdated. Their website is up to date.
