Once the vehicle was in the hands of technician Robert Burns, within days he was able to make clear determinations and create a path moving forward. Going above and beyond would be an understatement... Aside from his vast experience, knowledge and resourcefulness, Robert exhibited passion and determination. At the BMW Service Center I felt like a number being run through a mill, but Bimmer Motor Specialists took on the project as if it were their own. The term "Motor Specialists" is very apropos in that they left no stone unturned and worked in a timely manner within an affordable price range. Communication through Service Manager Alex was spot on and I knew with assuredness that I could trust them with this very special car. My wife bought a Pre-Certified Audi at Audi Grapevine. She got all her maintenance there. Right when her warranty ran out, they informed her of that she had a $2,000 repair that was not covered. She decided to go elsewhere. She took her car to several other mechanics that could not find the repair that was needed. I suggested that she go to a Bimmer since they know German cars. They specialize in BMW but she gave them a try. She dropped her car off and they repaired her car at a fraction of the cost of the dealer. I would highly recommend them. After finding out that because I am the second owner of my 2016 BMW 428i, I was no longer eligible for the maintenance agreement that the original owner purchased, I found myself looking for a less expensive alternative to the dealer. I am so glad that I found this place. They generally cost less than the dealer, although it is stili a BMW, but on some level, I trust them more. They definitely want to be a partner in keeping your BMW in top shape. You are always welcome to watch and ask questions. I work in the industry and see all kinds of stuff you wouldn't think it, but when it comes to this shop and my man Robert, you might as well be in god's hands himself, the BMW God that is. Quoted $1000 to change the front springs on my BMW!!! This was labor only!!! They quoted me labor to replaced shocks / struts and then added labor to replace springs. In order to replace shocks / struts you have to take off the springs anyways !! What a rip off !! I recommend getting a second opinion before committing. read more

I have often been skeptical when dealing with mechanics or car dealerships. From my experience, they either exaggerate an issue or downright makeup an issue so you pay for a repair that you don't need. If they feel you know nothing about cars, the price of the repair can 'change' depending on the customer. If you have ever had this type of experience, please read on! BMS is exactly the OPPOSITE of what I just described. These guys are so honest and professional, it is almost unbelievable. I have had 2 or 3 repairs (can't remember) from BMS and each time it has been an enlightening and painless experience. Philip, the owner, is willing to explain the issue with you in detail and actually teach you a thing or two about your car. He goes the extra mile when he doesn't have to...let's say a warning light comes on and you have a question. He answers the question and doesn't ask you to 'come in for an evaluation'. They are also easy to work with and to schedule. This morning I waited while they replaced 2 coils and changed the oil. They were quick and thorough and my car is running beautifully. I will not go to the dealership as I have dealt with BMW of Dallas on multiple occasions with multiple problems. This group was recommended to me by a friend. Wow what a great discovery and resource. I am a one car household, so dropping a car off for service is always difficult around my schedule. Having the option for Mobile BMW car repair at my home/office was really perfect for me. The lady who took my original service call walked me through everything very professionally and Philip the BMW technician closed the deal with great service at fair price. I even got an email the next day outling the overall computer diagnostic findings & suggested future routine maintenance that I might want to perform with a quoted price estimate. The entire process from dealing with the office manager Tasha, the owner Philip, and the mechanic Joey who replaced the valve cover gasket on my 2006 5 Series was excellent. I've dealt with a few other shops in the Dallas/Plano area and nothing will come close to the overall experience I had with this company. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and more importantly honest. Not to forget they were significantly cheaper than what other places were charging for the repair. First of all the prices here are in no way consistent my self and friends have used Bimmer a few times for the same issues and the pricing was never consistent. I also compared with other local services and Bimmer was not cheaper in many areas. I was also not impressed with the way they opened the engine and left it exposed and apply gaskets in your grass area within your front yard. This is where I prefer an auto shop. The technician actually placed gaskets on vital parts in my front lawn area. I really don't think the front lawn is a clean enough environment for this type of application, get a work bench! I can't forget the grass area the technician killed with his cleaners as he was spraying them on the parts to clean them. Besides other small issues like being late to my house and the female at the office being rude and the problems they came out to repair didn't get fixed properly I guess I would call them for a spare tire change, Maybe. I ended up taking my car to Classic BMW for the proper repair and I will never use Bimmer Mobile Service again. read more
