The first red flag was that they refused to provide any information about the brake pads and rotors they were supposedly installing. They couldn't tell me the brand, the quality, or any details about the parts being used. Then, only 30 minutes later, I received a text saying the original quote was "incorrect." When I asked them to show me where the mistake was, they couldn't provide any proof because there wasn't one. Instead, they simply changed the quote in their system and added an extra $100 charge. This feels like a classic bait-and-switch tactic: get customers in the door with one price, then suddenly increase the cost once they have your vehicle and your time invested. The lack of transparency, refusal to provide information about the parts, and unexplained price increase completely destroyed any trust I had. If you value honesty, transparency, and fair pricing, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Based on my experience, I would not trust this shop with my vehicle and I would never return.

After $2,834.90 in repairs, 9 separate visits to now 3 different firestone locations, 6 failed…read morerepair attempts for the same issue, 2 breakdowns requiring tows, 2 visits to other locations for supplemental help, a month of on and off being without a car, this 2014 Kia soul still isn't fixed for what should have been a simple catalytic converter repair. If the catalytic converter had been replaced, both halves with OEM kia parts the first time around without replacing other parts just to have the exact same issue persist with needless expensive repairs, we would not be here today. After 6 visits and 4 failed repair attempts at another location in Garland, a 2014 Kia Soul was towed here for catalytic converter issues after having major acceleration and engine shaking issues on July 9th. (Invoice 153160). It was the closest location to the breakdown so it just made sense. My girlfriend who had the breakdown spoke with Marcus and he said if the car could be towed there, they would look at it and warranty the faulty parts. Spoke with Jason on July 11th. They said they found no issues, they drove it around the block a few times, ran a computerized test on the car, and cleared the check engine light. HELLO?!?!?! The car had to be towed there. The car didn't magically resurrect itself. If it was a clogged catalytic converter, you may not have issues until down the road when the engine gets hot. We pick up the car and sure enough, 30 minutes later acceleration issues, and we are back to square 1 need a tow. How can a mechanic be that dumb to not understand basic logic that the car HAD TO BE TOWED THERE??? There must be something wrong with it. Look a little deeper. Taking the car to another mechanic verified that both sides of the catalytic converter were clogged, causing the issue. My girlfriend's experience alone has ensured i have not and will never take my car to firestone. This is unbelievable!

At the BMW Service Center I felt like a number being run through a mill, but Bimmer Motor Specialists took on the project as if it were their own. The term "Motor Specialists" is very apropos in that they left no stone unturned and worked in a timely manner within an affordable price range. Communication through Service Manager Alex was spot on and I knew with assuredness that I could trust them with this very special car. Once the major issue was solved, Robert took the time to make additional suggestions on how the car could age more gracefully both mechanically and aesthetically. Now, in my right mind again, I found DFW Bimmer's website, called and spoke with Jesse. He was very responsive and knowledgeable over the phone about my problems. Therefore, I made an appointment to bring my car in for diags. Not only did Jesse determine the resolution to the problems I reported, but he also found other CRITICAL issues that needed to be dealt with immediately! Samantha and Jesse (and Jesse's daughter - I don't know her name) were all very pleasant to deal with and I completely appreciate that. Waiting for my car to be fixed was indeed a pleasure because of such friendly people to interact with. No more overheating as a result of Jesse's work. I FOUND A NEW HOME FOR MY BIMMER!
