I love ramen so I eat it quite often. My friend was raving about this place and said it's one of the best she's had so we obviously had to come. Service was great, very attentive and friendly. It's a small restaurant inside, they have a Japanese toilet so that's cool :3 ramen was sooo good. Broth was so flavorful and creamy. Noodles were perfectly cooked, and that egg omg...def try!!
Oh my goodness, Bincho creates the most flavorful bowl of ramen in the SFV, hands down! I came by for take out today close to the opening at 5PM, and they were already lit with customers! Despite even that, I was helped immediately and was heading out with my order for 2 bowls in about 15 minutes. I was also offered a glass of ice water while I waited, which was very kind. Every aspect from the dark walls and wooden bar, down to the music and bathroom is well thought out. You can tell they truly value their space and the customers that support the restaurant. Don't get me started on the food ~ We tried the Bincho Egg Black Tonkatsu Ramen. The broth was silky and creamy, not oily or heavy at all. The black garlic added a very interesting earthy and almost scorched taste to it. The egg was sweet, and I've never had a sweet ramen egg before but it went well with the rest of the umami flavors in the dish. The green onions and wood ear mushrooms had a fresh crunch to them and there was enough to get a good amount in every bite. The charsiu was tender + savory sweet, kinda tasted like cheese to me but that's also a positive lol! The noodles were slightly chewy and the portion was just right for the amount of broth you get. I have nothing bad to say about this ramen, it's truly one of those spots where your heart desires seconds or even thirds lowkey. I'll be back again to try a different option on the menu. That spicy karaage looked pretty fire so I may need to come back to try that too... Thank you Bincho! Y'all killed the ramen game.
Friendly service and delicious food. The Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen was excellent, and it was actually spicy. I did not need to ask for any extra heat. Definitely one of the best ramen dishes I've had in recent memory. The gyoza was large and packed with pork, but a little greasier than I'd like. Despite that, it still was a tasty dish, and I would order it again. I would make Bincho a regular stop if I lived closer. This is one of those places that does actually live up to the Yelp hype. Bincho, I will be back!
I was craving some good ramen and luckily was told about this spot. There are not a lot of good ramen places in the valley but this place is literally the best! Located inside a small shopping plaza, the place itself is that not big inside. But we went on a Sunday evening and it wasn't busy so we were seated right away. The menu offered lots of different ramen options, both spicy and not spicy. They also have appetizers and desserts. I got a Thai tea and it was very very good. They brew the tea in house so you could tell it was fresh. And it wasn't overpowering in sweetness. Now onto the ramen 5/5!!! I got the spicy tonkatsu ramen and it was perfection. The broth was rich and creamy yet not oily and the meat was tender and flavorful. The egg was cooked to perfection as well. Can't wait to come back!!
I was so excited to check out this place and it exceeded my expectations! Our waitresses were so helpful with their recommendations. Highly recommend their Spicy Tonkatsu with Tamago--this broth is so garlicky and full of richness. The Yuzu Jidori Chicken Ramen with Tamago has a very light broth and is refreshing. We also tried their Yaki Mayo Cha-Siu bowl and instantly fell in love...the generous portion of cha-siu and their addictive sauce all over the rice is perfection. Will be getting more of this next time. Super excited to return especially for their lunch special.
Label as no 1 ramen sure is a problem if I'm the owner. but this place do excels in their reputation. Noodle is perfectly cool and their broths either the pork base or chicken base delivered a nice kick. Ambience is better than I used to before oh this place was a curry spot in the past. Service is excellent, great job ladies. I would recommend come a bit late lunch around 2 or early dinner to beats the rush. Many customer come saying that they heard from the news about this spot and they all come to try. Try them, for me ramen is very personal. Great ramen for me maybe not for you. so you won't know till you try. Their ramen broth is not heavy at all but maybe too creamy but they also have the clear option that my son has and that's also perfect.
At this point of time I can say that this restaurant deserves 5 stars. Employees are actively checking everything was ok. Ambiance was cozy. I ordered spicy tonkotsu ramen and non spicy one. As always spicy one is my favorite. This time I remember to stir it throughly before I eat. It has perfect level of spiciness but if you don't like spicy food, this would be a bit much for you. All that being said, I can say this Ramen restaurant is the best in SFV.
This spot was on the list of top ramen spots in LA and the only spot from the valley so had to try it! Service was so welcoming and inviting from the start. It Was these two girls and they were so cheery and funny. We came on a rainy Saturday around 4:15pm and it was pretty full but we sat at the bar and there was plenty of room there and it was clean. We ordered the gyoza which I was going to get anyways but then one of the girls recommended it so for sure we had to get it. Then we got the Cha Siu which was my first time trying that and that was delicious! I'd order that again. The gyoza was a bigger size than what it usually is and it was so hot. It was nice and filled up with pork. I got the Black Garlic ramen and the broth was delish but I mixed it up more because half of it was full of black garlic. My sister got the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and it was packed with flavor with medium spice. Everything was delicious! There is enough parking but a lot of the spots are taken for other businesses so they're mostly by the Goodwill parking.
Tried the Spicy Tonkatsu with egg and the Bincho Creamy Tonkatsu. Both were really rich and flavorful + the char sui was tender. The spicy chicken karaage had good flavor but wish it came with a lemon wedge or sauce. I'd like to try the clear broth next time as the creamy broths were a bit too rich for me! Small place with both tables and bar seating, you sign up on a sheet outside waited about 15 minutes on a Friday night around 6:30. It got really crowded around 7 so expect to wait outside. Small parking lot out front.
I was very excited to try #1 ramen in LA but was little disappointed when I saw the menu. There is only 1 ramen with chicken and everything else is pork unfortunately. I'd say it's super simple chicken broth w some noodles. It wasn't bad but also not the best. Would I comeback? Most likely no. Need more chicken options. Customer service was good.
I've been to Bincho a couple times now and it never disappoints! Definitely deserving of its reputation as one of the top ramen spots in the SFV and even LA! It has gotten more popular now so definitely anticipate a bit of a line especially if you're coming on a weekend. Service is quick, efficient, and friendly. Bincho karaage - love it!! So juicy and flavorful and comes out piping hot and fresh every time! Bincho signature tonkotsu - simply a classic. The broth is so hearty and rich without feeling too heavy. The noodles are the perfect firmness and the portion size is very satisfying Bincho black tonkotsu - was super excited when they added this to their menu! Amaaaazing! Highly recommend the spicy ramen. Not only is the broth so flavorful and rich, but the noodles are cooked to perfection. With the lunch special you can get a side of karaage or gyoza and both are great options. The gyoza is pretty big! Lots of yummy filling inside. The karaage is crispy on the outside and super tender and juicy on the inside. Love the iced matcha green tea too! I also got to try the black tonkotsu and it was delicious. They really know what they are doing here! Super cute unassuming spot definitely worth checking out if you are a ramen fan. They have a veggie option for veg folks!
The Tonkotsu ramen here is unbelievably good. Every component is perfectly prepared. -The broth is rich, but delicately flavored and silky smooth. -The char siu is fatty and incredibly tender. -The egg is delicious (the egg white is firm and the yolk has a subtle soy flavor) -the noodles have the perfect firmness For a place that's small and very busy, the service is outstanding. The staff is very nice and the food comes out quickly. This place is worth the hype. I've never had ramen this good.

The Chicken Ramen is absolutely delicious, no disputing that for me. The broth has a unique flavor compared to anything I've had before, kinda lemony, savory, such a pleasant flavor. The chicken pieces are tender, melt in your mouth and the egg is nicely seasoned. The portion size, however, for the price-point surprised me. It's quite a small bowl compared to other Ramen places I've been to, and pricier as well. Although I appreciated trying this place out, for the value reason, I'm not super enthusiastic about recommending it. It's a cute place though and the service was friendly. read more

This is my second time visiting Bincho. The first time was over a year ago, but I remembered how delicious, flavorful, and unique the Yuzu Jidori ramen was, so when I was in the area-- I was happy to try it again. It was just as yummy as I remembered! I like how the chicken cha-siu doesn't taste gamey like it often does at other ramen places. The meat was very fresh. I also loved the garlic edamame. The food came out fast, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. read more

Don't order on uber eats it's risky they cancelled my order. So then I wasn't giving up and called the restaurant directly they said 2 hours and they were right on time when I picked it up. I ate my dinner at 9p but was worth it. The quality is top notch. I got the yuzu chicken was 8/10, I liked the noodles more than the chicky. Chicky was good but it wasn't a lot which was fine. I will definitely go again and excited to try their other options. read more

Delicious ramen! I really like the noodles and the broth reminds me of ramen in Japan. I got the spicy tonkatsu ramen with egg and it was really good. It comes with 3 slices of chasu and the most perfect ramen egg ever. I definitely recommend this dish. Their menu was quite small consisting of ramen, a few rice bowls, and a few appetizers. We tried the gyoza appetizer and it was delicious. I would definitely be coming back. I want to give this place 4.5 stars! The only con is that it is a bit pricy for ramen and every addition costs extra. They offer a spicy ball to make your ramen spicier but its an extra $1.50.. read more

I got the Bincho spicy tonkotsu tamagotchi also add tofu which is my favorite I love tofu !! But everything here is nice clean as well environment is great the food was so delicious as well will come back again there lychee drink ugh so good and refreshing service was fast and easy read more
I've been here quite a few times before as it's easily the best ramen I've ever had. This time, I brought my friend for her birthday. I'm usually loyal to the amazing spicy tonkotsu but decided to try one of their signature clear broths and it was just as perfect. Everything on the menu here is 10/10 and I crave it *at least* once a week. The servers and owner are so nice and I know this place is destined for great things! read more

Had dinner here last Sunday night, we've been curious about this place since we saw that our beloved Keitaro has closed down. So to start - they're mainly just a ramen place with some appetizers and rice bowls. We ordered the spicy tonkatsu ramen, Bincho ramen and tonkatsu ramen. For starters we had the squid legs which was crispy and well seasoned. Dip was also good. My spicy tonkatsu is just the right spice level for me, although I did notice as I eat it - I find it salty so I couldn't finish the soup. I also prefer thicker ramen noodles, they use thinner noodles. My kids orders - I tried their soup and tonkatsu for me is the one that tastes the best. Place is newly renovated so new tables, chairs lights were dimmed so not so bright. read more

Finally another solid ramen place in the Valley. Bincho which took over Keitaro's Kitchen is serving up delicious authentic ramen. The Clear Tonkotsu broth is fantastic. Even though it's a clear broth it's rich in flavor and a perfect amount a layer of fat. The Spicy Tonkotsu broth, has a nice Spicy kick, also rich and creamy. The Yuzu Jidori Chicken broth, also was great. The broth has a nice hint of Yuzu Citrus flavor which wasn't over powering the chicken broth. The ramen noodles was cooked perfectly. Great chew on the noodles. The chashu pork was tender and flavorful. The chicken was tender and moist. The soft boiled egg was perfectly done and seasoned. The bowl it's was a good size portion for the price. Service was fantastic and very friendly. Hubby & I stumbled upon this ramen place. I was drawn to the clear ramen. I appreciated them accommodating my low sodium request. The broth was still very flavorful, the chicken was crunchy, the noodles were perfectly cooked. I'm usually not a fan of gyoza but these were lovely & hand made. The kaarage was rather juicy. Tried a few items and everything was amazing! The Yuzu Chicken Ramen was super refreshing with a bright citrusy flavor that really stood out. The Ika Geso Age had the perfect texture--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. To finish, my friend and I had the Coffee Jelly Latte, it was creamy and not too strong of coffee it's just a good balance. We also had the honor of trying their new desert which will be out tonight and it's called Black Sesame Pudding. It is rich, nutty, and perfectly smooth with a subtle sweetness that wasn't overpowering. It was comforting, unique, and the perfect way to end the meal. On top of the food, the service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and fast. I also loved that the owner, Mr. Toshiro, takes time to interact with customers whenever he gets a chance. It really adds a personal touch and makes the experience feel warm and welcoming. It's easy to see why this place was rated #1 ramen nationwide by Yelp. Absolutely well-deserved. The food here is soo good it's absolutely insane. The waitress was the sweetest most helpful person ever. The place was clean and homey. Definitely see myself going back. The only thing is a majority of their ramen's are pork based so if you don't do pork your options are limited. read more

This place is AMAZING! My sister recommended this place, and let me tell you, it didn't disappoint. The Ambience is sooooo nice. We were serviced and waited on by Kioko and she was so welcoming and sweet. I had no idea what to order, but with her help we go the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen and the Yuzu Chicken Ramen. As someone that doesn't like my ramen too rich, the Yuzu chicken is the best ramen I've ever had. It was so delicous. The portions are the perfect size. I was so full. We also ordered the Karage Chicken, and when I tell you it was the most flavorful and delicious chicken, it's so good. I've also heard their Gyozas are amazing. This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I were looking for good ramen place in the valley and since I'm from Japan and my husband is a chef, we have a bit of a high expectation and this place nailed it! Their black Tonkotsu is so good and very rich and transparent tonkotsu is still so good but less rich. The yuzu is refreshing with hint of sourness! My favorite is their noodle! I've been to so many paces where their broth is good but noodle wasn't so I am very happy with this place. The service is nice and quick and attentive! I loved their spicy ahi bowl too! read more
I love discovering new restaurants, especially in the valley, and Bincho Ramen Tarzana is quite the gem. The tonkotsu ramen is rich and creamy, and the broth flavor is more concentrated than what I tend to find in other ramen. And yet, it's not overly salty or overpowering. It's a great balance of flavor and works well from the noodles to the chiarsu. It is harmonious! The spicy tonkotsu (I added the chili oil on the side) adds a very nice kick and excitement to an already good ramen, as well. If you're a spicy tonkotsu ramen lover, you can't go wrong here. As for the appetizer, the gyōza is a must have. They are hand-made and deliciously surprising with the inclusion of the soup inside that reminds soup dumpling. I only wish there are more than 5 to share, but each gyōza is generously sized. And speaking of which, the karaage is also generously sized. I usually prefer a smaller, more bite sized karaage, but it's hard to complain the food continues to taste this good. So yes, this restaurant has earned future visits for me, especially since I want to try their yuzu chicken ramen. Sounds delicious, I can't wait! read more

Honestly, this is the best ramen I've ever had. I've been looking for that perfect bowl for so long, and this place finally nailed it. The broth is amazing rich, flavorful, perfectly balanced. The ramen here is top-notch superb! The craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into the food is absolutely fantastic. From the creaminess of the broth and freshness of noodles to the contrasting yet complimentary citrusy flavor of the Yuzu Ramen, this place is beyond worthy of try. I actually don't even want to be writing this review because so far going for lunch has easy and not overcrowded. Haha. The service is also amazing and they're always willing to answer questions and suggest the favorites. The best part of this is the spicy kaarage chicken. I've been to Japan twice within the past few years and this ramen is second to none! I've tried so many spots in DTLA and around the valley in search for a clear ramen and personally this tastes the most authentic to what I've had in Japan. Definitely my new #1 spot. Over shin-sen-gumi now. The owners are super nice and always coming out to show some love to their customers. Also the ramen is always hot! Love this place. read more

Honestly the food was very average, not very good I wouldn't really come back. The Gyozas were the only good here. The service was great! They have amazing customer service. The ambience was very lonely no music or anything, I also believe this place is a bit new, in my personal opinion this has a lot of room for improvement. read more
