I took my car to be inspected at another shop in Norfolk. It needed a new muffler to pass. Had the muffler replaced and took it back to the first shop but was ONE DAY past the 15-day window because of a death in the family...so I had to start over again. UGH! They didn't have time for my car that day so took it to Bingo Tire. They call me a couple hours later to say they found three things that had to be repaired to pass--a wiper blade, a tail light bulb, and a broken torque mount. These things would cost $300! I was sure that I was being played but I didn't really have any leverage because I needed to have my car. I needed a couple of days to get the money together to pay the $300. When I showed up, owner says I now owe $370 because he charged me $35 a day to "store my car." I said you never mentioned that fee, and he pointed to a small notice about it on the wall typed out on a smudged, regular sized piece of paper. I looked him straight in the eye and said "seriously?" I figure karma will take care of people like him, and made my quick exit. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. Besides the guy being a rude jerk, it is filthy dirty. You want to sanitize your whole interior after seeing the grime all over the lobby. read more

Met a friend up there so she could drop her car off to be worked on. We already knew what the problem was since we went and had the code read when the check engine light came on. Apparently she was wrong (coming from the guy at the "desk") and they would do their own diagnostic test and see what the problem was. Over 24 hours later, (and no phone calls, she had to call to find out what was going on before closing the same day she dropped it off) they still didn't know what the problem was. A few hours after that conversation, they finally figured it out and guess what?? THE PROBLEM WAS WHAT SHE SAID IT WAS! Pretty sure they didn't want to believe her because she's a woman. WAAAAY overpriced, no breakdown of what exactly she was charged for ($ for labor, $ for parts) and no apologies. You've not only lost her business, but also mine and everyone I talk to! read more

This place is bad business! not recommend to everyone! I came in for a state inspection and was told the wait was about 1 hour. I waited for over 3 hours but the car hadn't even pull in. I know my car just need a state inspection but there's nothing wrong with it. Finally I asked them how long and they decide to take my car in. Not even 10 minutes they came back and throw at me with a lot of stuff happened to my car and it cost 5 to 7 hundreds to fix it. There is nothing wrong with my car that they said that is wrong with it. They want to make money of stuff that don't even exist in the car. This place is unethical, unprofessional, and criminal. Please don't waste your time and money with these people here. I rather spend money on people who does it professionally and in the right way. read more

Bingo tire is hands-down the best around at what they do. Called them at 5 o'clock on a Saturday night, I had a nail in my tire and it was pretty flat. With out hesitation the nice lady on the phone said "come on in we will fix you right up". I drove straight there, and no joke I was only there for 20 minutes, then I was on my way with my tire fixed, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. Do not go here for auto repair work. These people are shyster's. Charged me 160.00 to tighten one screw and it took 2 days to get them to do it and the car still does not work right. This place is basically an oil change and inspection shop. Manager has absolutely no customer service skills at all and I question their mechanics capabilities. The guy up front had a I don't care type of attitude and basically just didn't care. Says military discount on the sign outside but that only applies to jobs that require more time. I also read a review that said affordable before going, but paying 55 dollars for an oil change is absurd. The guy up front also told me I could try somewhere else, but when you lug two kids out of a car in 90 degree weather you don't just go somewhere else. I only give a 3 because they were very fast on the oil change. But will not go back again. read more

My experience was terrible. First off, unprofessionalism. They were cussing around at each other at the front desk (doesn't really bother me but what if a family had kids there?). Also at the front desk, halfway through explaining why I was there, the attendant stop talking to me and started talking to his buddy in the shop behind the store for a couple minutes. Finally, I'm told that it'll take about an hour for an oil change (only reason why I was here) and I thought, "That's a long time for just an Oil Change but maybe it's busy". Anyways, an hour later I'm finally told, "Sorry it's taking so long, our deliver guy hasn't shown up with the oil". So after an hour, they haven't even started the oil change and they couldn't even tell me before hand that they didn't even have oil to do an oil change. So finally, after 2 hours, I was finally done and leaving. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the prices are fair, only $55 for my oil change. I don't know if this was just my experience but it was still a bad one. Definitely not going to be coming back anytime soon. read more

It's a woooow service that's the least I could say about this place , starting from the people there being friendly and professional and the most important part is the honesty and on top of this it's the most reasonable and affordable mechanic shop in the area I have ever been too .. Chad and the team were honest and quick with the inspection. Like most folks I'm always worried about being ripped off trying to get an inspection. The only thing they flag me for was a rear light being out. I agreed to the $15 repair. When they went to replace the bulb it was just loose and no repair was needed. All it cost me was the $16 inspection fee. They will be my repair shop from now on. read more
