I had a guy before me being checked for vitals he was over on some of his findings they still let him donate. When I got check I was over by .1 they told me no. Before today at my last appointment my arm was fished in by a new employee. They didn't say anything to him or do anything for me. I was referred to by a friend who donates and came in for my first appointment today . The staff was friendly and made the process as quick as possible . I was there for less than an hour before then denied my application because of my tattoos . None of which are fresh I've had most of them for years but was told they could not draw under ink. Kinda a dumb reason considering I've donated before to Red Cross and it was never an issue. I feel like this location intentionally refuses patients I'm O- my blood is universal and can save many lives. I have friends who are covered in tattoos and had no issues at other locations so this makes no sense . Don't waste your time or gas driving to this location . read more

Poor time management. I spend 3 hours just to be redirected to a new spot to sit and wait. One of the nurses was completely unprofessional and accused me of actions I have never made. It's not that hard to read a patient's file or listen to what the patient says is true regarding their own life. Major attitude problems from staffing. Would recommend going to CSL Plasma for your services. BioLife has done nothing but cause problems for me and friends. I had my vein blown here and had the same nurse as above tell me it was my fault they blew my vein. read more

Nice staff but... Didn't realize it sooner...none of them change their gloves. A few of us observed and counted how many patients they assist before they change gloves, from the check ins to the sanitizing of equipment up til the end part of plasma donation... no glove change after handling a lot of clients/patients. The wait is unacceptable. Yesterday it was an hour and 20 mins before I got poked. Even longer last week. You are scheduling appointments which means I should be able to see a vitals specialist within a few minutes of my appointment and be complete within an hour and a half. Lately it has been taking 3 hours or more. This is not a one off. This has been happening for months so it isn't just " someone called out" I feel so sorry for the employees that do show up as customers are cranky for the long waits and some of them are mean to the employees. You work your employees like robots but they are humans and need breathers throughout the day. They are working like crazy to catch up but all that needs to be done is the scheduling fixed. Once you have staffed up and haven't burnt out all your employees you can go back to booking heavier on the appointments. If I'm too late, I can't donate but if your too late nobody cares. After all, it's just my time, it doesn't matter to biolife how long I have to stand around. Fix it! read more

Don't go to this place. Staffs are very unprofessional especially Filipinos lady name Naiy ( front desk) or something. I did not bring the proof of mailing address to an appointment and she said that " unfortunately you can not sell blood since you don't have a proof of mailing address". However, while I was waiting in the waiting room, I overheard her telling the other while male that that is fine if he doesn't have a proof of mailing address. It is really unfair treatment. They treat us like low end people trying to sell blood for food. The Filipino lady is very rude. All of us decided to go home. Good luck with their business. read more

I'm 50/50 with this location. I donate here cause it's the closest from Menifee, waiting for the Temecula location to open, it would be nice to have one in Menifee. Sometimes it's fast even on a busy day but sometimes it takes a while to get you donating or get unplugged after finishing the goal donation. read more

Decided to come back and try after months of not donating. Mistake. The line was wrapped around the walls. Then, when I went to check in, the system wouldn't allow me to complete the questionnaire. Come to find out they wanted another physical. I just did one at the end of 2022. Long story short could not complete a donation because the nurses decided they did not want to accommodate a physical for me. I was told there were only a few of them and they'd be closing in about an hour. Last time I had a physical it lasted all of 20 minutes. Additionally, If the app would have said that I needed a physical, I would've scheduled accordingly. Just sucks to drive through an hour of traffic only to be turned away. I wasn't the only one. The girl before me had the same issue and the gentleman behind me ended up the same way as well. Business seems to be booming... If only the app and service could mirror that. Come on Corona Biolife plasma... With the amount of people lined up to donate, you can and should do better. We can't save lives if we can't get in a chair. Positive note: some of the most wonderful and kindest people work on the floor at this location. If you get in... You will be taken care of by great staff. read more

The staff has always been very friendly, but what's the point of having an appointment if it takes 2-4hrs to be done? I've come on different days, different times, just to see if it makes a difference.. it doesnt. The fastest I've ever been done is 2hrs. My initial appt took FOUR HOURS, so prepare for that. Today it's probably going to be 3hrs they have a very small handful of nurses running around and desperately need more. Even if you blow through the questionnaire in a couple mins, it usually takes an hour to go from that to the finger pick, to waiting for a chair. Then you get a chair and wait for another 30-45 mins, today i waited an hour. The donation process only takes maybe 20-30 mins max, I time myself every time. Then you sit with the needle in your arm for at least 30 mins before someone comes over to unhook you. I'm donating for the $950 promotion money to go toward my kids birthday party. But I doubt I'll come back, I've heard it barely pays anything outside promotions and if you're not a new donor. I know this helps people in need but good lord, I have other things to do and places to be! The promotion you have to donate 8 times in 4 weeks. At 2-3hrs minimum each time? Hope you have time in your schedule. One time they bruised my right arm pretty bad and I had to take a week off until it went away, so I can't even get the full promotion amount. read more

Went today at 1pm, needed to replace my card due to not being there for a year. Once I received my new card, there was a charge for a replacement card. The phlebotomist told me that I had to call the card to have the charge reversed. The card company said to call the plasma center back so I did. They informed me that there is always a charge for replacement even without being informed or having any notification in the building. Also was informed when I called back that I was deferred, never told that when I was present. Customer care was subpar! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING HERE!!! read more

Apparently I can't donate because I have sleep apnea. I don't want to pay for a doctor's visit just to have them sign a paper so I asked them to call my doctor instead. I can't be sure that they've even done it because they won't call me back and calling their phones yields no results. Honestly what a complete waste of gas, time and energy. I am a first time donor and followed the instructions of their step by step to donate. I had an appointment at 2:45pm and came straight after work. I got off at 1:30 and it took me legit the whole hour or so to get here. When I get here they ask me what I had to eat and when my last meal was. I told them it was on my lunch at work at 10:30am and they said because it had been more than 4 hours I couldn't donate. They also turned me away because I had a slice of cheese along with fruits and plenty of water and they said cheese is fatty and that they couldn't use my plasma. If they were so specific they should at least include a tip on what to eat for your appointment beforehand. I am a healthy eater, I was just in a rush this morning and that was my last resort for my lunch. Complete waste of time. Never going to come back. read more

The experience I had here really discouraged me from ever trying to donate plasma ever again. The staff here are incredibly rude and insensitive. They're very dismissive and almost seem eager to find a reason to kick you out. The receptionist is on some kind of power trip and just does not care about your time. Went in for my first time donor appointment and waited at the counter like the sign told me to and ended up just getting snapped at by an employee to go wait in another room. Giving direction is fine but don't be freaking rude about it. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Looks like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Made me nervous about how clean the facility is. On my way out of the bathroom a girl told me that they don't provide any blankets during the donation and that you have to bring your own. That certainly wasn't on the checklist. Finally, after about 40 mins of waiting an employee came and got me for the physical. She reviewed my paperwork and told me that my paystub was "unacceptable" because it didn't show my full social. Even though on the checklist we're emailed before the appointment it says a pay stub is acceptable. She said nope and denied me even before we could get to anything health related. Wasted my time and gas money for nothing. Honestly this location needs to learn how to speak to donors, how to clean a bathroom, and also what information is emailed to donors. Be better. I won't come back to this train wreck of a location. read more

Writing this on my 8th donation here. I've had very positive experiences here except for the one time a new phlebotomist missed and I had a small hematoma. All the staff are very nice and welcoming although depending on the time you go you may need to wait 1-2hrs before getting seated with the needle. I'd recommend going on the weekends before noon where there is practically no line. It's mostly congested past 2 or 3pm and if the line is too long and it's close to closing time you will be sent home (with a $50 coupon added to your next donation) read more

Okay the nurses are the best! However, when you get a technician to set the IV please ask for the best. Some just jab and leave you with hematomas. Once you have a hematoma they will tell you to set out one day in the week and then the next time you so in the next week they only pay you $40 (not the 135. They owed you). When call in to ask they just wanna get you off the phone. This is a scam they us to lower the cost of getting your plasma. read more

They are always behind schedule an hour or more, and unfortunately, very unfriendly staff that I have personally encountered. I find it very funny that if we are more than 10 minutes late, they make us reschedule but they can run over an hour late and expect us to wait longer to be seen and looks surprised when you have to leave because you can't wait any longer. So i have been donating at Biolife Corona for the last 2 years, 141 donations to date. Lately wait time can be very long, but thats ok, because they are busy. I went in to donate on Thursday October 10, 2024, was not busy at all. Vital check in and standing in line to get a bed was quick. Once i got a bed i waited for about 30 minutes to get connected, again, they weren't busy. Three people that were in line behind me got a bed a few minutes later and to my surprise were connected to a machine before i was, which made me get upset, but told my self "whatever". When i was done donating i noticed that i had gotten skipped again , this time from being disconnected. I brought it to one of the girls attention and she said someone else needed to be disconnected before me and she would be right back. Well she forgot about me because when she was done disconnecting the person before me she was too busy gossiping with one of the girls. I was able to get another employee attention and she came to disconnect me. I told her how i got skipped to be hoked up to a machine and how i was forgotten to get disconnected by the one young girl. (Apparently she is new). Well i decided to go back on Tuesday 10/15 hoping to have a better experience but i wasn't able to complete the questionnaire so i went to see the receptionist. She tells me that i was banned from donating for complaining and being rude to the employees while they are in training. That if i need to make a complaint in need to talk to a manager. First of all i was never rude to anyone, especially if i known the employee was new. Second , to ban someone from being able to donate for expressing their concerns and frustrations of how they are being ignored while other donors that were there after me are getting helped first is not ok. The problem Biolife Corona has is that they dont pay attention in what order donors are coming in, it seems like they are always too busy socializing and constantly skip donors. I dont understand why they have a donor comment/ opinion box if you are going to tell a donor they can't donate because you made a complaint. Its sad to see how bad this place has gotten since it first opened. The manager that ran this place back then was awesome, i hear he transferred to the Temecula location. read more

This is a terrible place to go! My machine to sign in wasn't working and I was worried about getting behind 4 other people who came in after me. I asked Koriama if she could keep my place in line and she said yes. Well, all 4 people finished the survey and went ahead of me. I asked Koriama what happened and she said well they finished before you so they get to go first. I said I just asked you if you would save my place and you said yes due to the survey locking up on me. They work on their OWN time here and they have a way of making you WAIT for everything! read more

Do not go to the BIOLIFE CENTER in CORONA! The RN and the MANAGER are THEIFS, they will deduct funds off your account and NOT TELL YOU! Do not ask about your payments or your payment card, if you do they take a service fee from your account. Stay away from this Biolife Center, or you could be their next victim! I was really excited to donate here today. I spent over an hour getting screened and checked, only to be turned away for the most bizarre reason. I have had an anxiety disorder for most of my life that causes me to pull out my hair occasionally in stressful environments. I take a medication for this disorder and have taken medication most of my life. The medication doesn't stop the hair pulling disorder but it does help prevent me from doing it in high frequency. This location turned me away after they found out about this. It was honestly really unclear why I was rejected and really discouraging. I was well hydrated and everything else passed but they turned me away because of a disorder I've suffered from my entire life, telling me I had to stop doing it for 6 months to be eligible? I don't even understand how this would affect my blood or ability to donate plasma. I used to be a regular blood donor and never ran into this concern or issue. I drove an hour to go to this place and spent almost 2 hours being screened for nothing. The nurse that helped me was kind but I left feeling really bummed and sad that I would never be eligible to donate under these conditions. read more
