I can't believe I've never eaten here before. Great place to go for local foods! We actually tried to golf at Pearl Country Club before they renovated and decided to check this place out. Parking is right out front. Very easy! Restaurant located on the lower level. Go down the stairs once you get into the building. Walk in and there's normally a lot of seats available. Tripe stew was a weekend special and it was so good! Wasn't too thick or too watery. Actually perfect. Yum! Service is always great here! Perfect place to unwind after golf. I do want to try breakfast. They don't serve it all day so I always miss it. Stay tuned!

Took half a day from work and decided to check out this place I saw on cheap eats . Pearl Country Club restaurant just head up Kaonohi heading Mauka and you can't miss it it's on the right side . Had lunch there with my sister and brother-in-law. I had their Chicken Katsu it was ok average it came with 1 scoop rice and Mac salad. My sister had their Fish and Chips she said it was also alright it would have been better if it came with vinegar for dipping. We also had a side of their Shoyu Pork on bau bun. Nice atmosphere looking over their golf course service a little slow because lots of golfer eat there after they finish playing golf. Overall : Service: 3 Star Food : 3 Star Atmosphere: 4 Star Price : 3 Star I would overall rate this restaurant 3.5 Star Support local

Comfortable place to eat. Staff friendly, portions good. Tasty, made to order. Lots of parking.

The ad in the MidWeek. How can they rank as Hawaii's best 2022? My Rating: negative stars.

Have you seen their Ohana At Home add in the MidWeek? I thought it was a good deal and hoped I'd order one day. Boy, what a MISTAKE! I called Sunday night to inquire about the Ohana meal since I couldn't find it in this week's paper. The guy was nice and explained all the options. I said I'd call back the next day once I checked with the family in what they preferred. I called the next day but got an answering machine, so I left my order and asked for a call back confirmation. No calls, so I called again and left my order again, saying I'd like to pick up at 4pm. Strange, no calls but sometimes restaurants will expect you to pick up at the designated time. I went down to find no one picked up the recording, so no order. I was told on tournament days, the restaurant is closed. When asked how will I know when tournament days are, he just raised his shoulders and said, "I don't know?" I asked if anything can be done because I'm flexible. The response was: "The kitchen is closed for the tournament." So, I'm supposed to be a mind reader to know when tournament days are. Plus, the guy who answered the day before knew I'd call but said nothing about the kitchen closing for the tournament. A simple change would have made this all work: Put a message on the recorder to say no orders are being received due to a tournament. Simple!! The manager's name I was given was "Guy." With atrocious business practices like this, I'm sure Guy would not give a rip, so I'm posting this review on Yelp. If I could, I would give them a NEGATIVE score! Don't support sloppy businesses like this who don't seem to care. So very DISAPPOINTED!

Tagging along with my brother in law and my wife got to eat at the Pearl Country Restaurant. Nice clean and spacious this resturant had a nice ambiance to it. Our server was pleasent and attentive. Wished I could raved about the food. I ordered the Okinawan style OxTail soup. It had a decent portion of ox tail and veggies, it's the soup that I didn't care for. The taste was way different than restaurants like Utage. We shared the pork bao which also disappointed me. The bun as well as the pork was bland. The chicken katsu and the fish and chips which was ordered was average. Note: This restaurant is not handicap friendly. Being a two story building, elevators are not required. From the lobby you have to descend one flight of stairs. After lunch I decided to see if there was another way to get to parking lot. Found an unmarked pathway to a driveway which led to the parking lot. No stairs to climb. Be safe.

What kind of person drives a the way from town to eat breakfast at a golf course restaurant at 6am in the morning? Answer: This mento guy... There is not a lot of breakfast places in the PC area that open at 6am in the morning, Pearl County Club Restaurants is one of the few. We wanted to get a early start as usual and if you're an early bird person and don't mind mingling with the golfers telling stories, this is a good place to eat. I found the simple breakfast menu perfect for a golf course restaurant and the prices were on PAR with the portions. On this visit I decided to try the Lup Cheong fried rice as I normally try a new brekkie place by their Fried rice. The sweetness of Lup Cheong and the moist fried rice was one of the best I've had in a long time. It also helped with some Yoke Porn oozing down the sides of the mound of goodness. The dish came with two pieces of Portuguese Sausage and takuwan ($8.95), it was excellent. The restaurant is located on the first level of the building and the view of the 18th hole and putting green is relaxing. There is indoor and outdoor seating for big groups. Local style service, friendly and unrushed. I would definitely come back here to eat, lots of local food choices. The mornings get pretty quiet and empties quickly once the golf groups leave with their BS'ing to hack up the golf course.

Waffles ($7.90): just one comes with the plate but it's loaded with fruit and whipped cream!

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE What started as a random road trip in an attempt to get baby to sleep turned into the discovery of a delightful hidden breakfast gem thanks to fellow Yelper Rachel I's review! The food's pretty standard; it's the staff and views that make PCC a candidate for your to-visit list! === 2. FOOD The Denver Omelette ($9.95): the ham, onions, and peppers work our nicely in this omelette; the hash browns were crispy on the outside, but soft (soggy?) on the inside. Frozen perhaps? Corned Beef Hash and Eggs ($10.65): maybe NOT the dish to order...the eggs done your way worked out fine, but the aforementioned soggy (?) hash browns and the an interesting twist on corned beef hash (soggy or overcooked?) is ok but forgettable. Waffles ($7.90): don't let the menu description fool you - there is only one waffle in the order, but it does come with fresh fruit and plenty of whipped cream to enjoy the fluffy delight! Coffee will set you back $2.75 and it's good enough to not spoil the view of the golf course. === 3. SERVICE Even when sitting on the lanei, it's pleasant and constantly attentive - kudos to the ladies for making the experience a welcome one! === 4. ATMOSPHERE One could sit inside but the magic is outdoors - ask for one of the many four-seat tables outside and enjoy the view of the golf course, Pearl Harbor while taking in the gentle breezes. Parking is plentiful (but on a hill) and those with strollers/wheelchairs will need to scoot around the left side of the buildings and down the hill to get to the restaurant level.

My brother and I saw this place in cheap eats segment with Guy Hagi and Steve Uyehara. They tried their smash burger and their oxtail soup. So we decided to go after my uncle's funeral service. Well number 1 they lost a star because their restaurant located on the ground floor from their parking lot and no elevator just stairs. Well imagine the people that are on wheelchairs how are they going down there. The food was ok. I had the fish and chips my brother had chicken katsu and my husband had their oxtail soup my fish and chips was good came out hot even the fries. My brother said the chicken katsu was ok but he had better. My husband oxtail soup the broth he said tasted like to much cilantro taste. Well at least we tried this place but maybe won't be back soon. The server was very friendly and took our order by memory and not using a note pad. Support local and still mask up. Sorry we also had the okinawan pork bao was ok.

Reasonable prices considering it's located in a country club with an outstanding view. But i heard menu is changing soon. For the better ;)

Who knew a Country Club Restaurant would be open to the public? Well now, you can consider yourself Country Club material. :) Pearl Country Club has been, to me, the place of many weddings, graduations, conferences, company Christmas parties, and so on. But now, you don't have to wait for a special occasion to come and dine here. Located on the ground floor (below the banquet room). Parking definitely won't be a problem here as they have their own parking. And if you have elderly or physically challenged, there's a Porte Corche so you can drop them off at the front of the building before parking. Food/Price: Comparable to other local establishments in the area like Zippys and The Alley. You won't get a "buffet", but you will get a meal worth the price with a nice view of the green. Ambience: Did I say a nice view of the green? They have tables indoors and outdoors. For breakfast, our friends sat outside (it was beautiful). For dinner, we sat inside but it had A/C and a few tv's. Can't really see the green in the evening. Service: The only reason at this point why it's not a 5 star is that the waitresses weren't friendly but they weren't rude either. The food took a little longer to come out but when you're with good company, it's hardly noticeable. What I like is that all our food came out together. I definitely liked this place and will be back for sure. Especially for breakfast again.

The burger itself tasted good as it was cooked with bread mixed in it to make it soft but once you started eating it, the burger fell apart. The bun was thin so it was messy as the sauce and burger started falling out and you needed a lot of napkins. Some people like it messy but it's not my thing. The onions and pickles were a perfect match. Too much American cheese. ________________________________________________ The Premium Purists: 5/10 I was looking forward to trying the burger at Forty Niners and hoped it would be an old fashioned/traditional style deluxe burger. It definitely had the look and right toppings but the patty was a little disappointing. After my first two bites the patties crumbled into pieces and the texture seemed off. It was too mushy and lacked good beef flavor. After learning they mix breadcrumbs in their burger patty, I think the patties I got were not mixed well and the ratio of beef and breadcrumb was off. That is probably why the texture was off, it lacked beef flavor, and crumbled. I would honestly give it another try and go with a single patty. ________________________________________________ The stack analyst: 7/10 Tried the double cheeseburger(dirty style) at 49ers and it was delicious. The fried pickles were the highlight for me. I love fried pickles and they worked really well on the burger. They also didn't hold back on the caramelized onions, which added flavor. The burger had four slices of cheese, so it was definitely rich. The patty had a nice sear on the outside, it did fall apart though. I would've liked a little more salt, but I know that comes down to preference. Bun was nothing special, just your standard setup, but it got the job done. I'd definitely come back and order it again! ________________________________________________ Double stack daddy: 6/10 The burger had a solid foundation, but it was missing flavor and could've used more seasoning. The biggest downside was the bun--it fell apart after the first bite, making the rest of the meal messy. Not a bad burger, but it didn't stand out, and there's definitely room for improvement. ________________________________________________ Bruddah big buns: 4/10 Da patty was mushy. ________________________________________________ Captain messy hands, keeper of the drip: 8/10

Location: Kitchen Deja Vu is located inside the Blue Tropix Bar & Grill, which just so happens to be right across the Chili's from Pearlridge Center. Parking: Plenty! You can park anywhere in the Pearlridge Center parking lot Food: We ordered 5 items 1) pan fried pork cheese buns: 10/10 - pillowy soft bread expertly soaks up all the juices from the pork filling, perfectly pan fried bottom adds a bit of crunchy texture, pork filling was seasoned well and there was a decent amount of cheese inside as well (it was giving pizza flavor vibes), supposedly "spicy" but it wasn't too bad at all so this would be good even for those with a low spice tolerance 2) pulehu style short ribs: 10/10 - incredible smoked and grilled flavor, cooked and seasoned to perfection! They're not stingy either, nice portion size and a hearty amount of meat on each short rib too 3) big shrimp potstickers: 11/10 - succulent pork & shrimp filling filled to the brim of wrapper! Very on brand because these buggahs was massive and sooo tasty! Classic potsticker taste and there's a whole shrimp in there too, paired with their shoyu vinegar (I think) sauce and wooo this one was winnnahz ‍ 4) charsui udon: 10/10 - nice & chewy udon noodles and absolutely loaded with charsui and veggies that were so wonderfully stir fried allowing them to soften just a little but remain crispy, adding another layer of texture to the dish and ensuring you get a nice little crunch in every bite! 5) kau yuk (caramelized pork belly): 10/10 - big chunks of sweet & savory pork belly, but not as sweet as the name would have you think. It's actually perfectly balanced, you can definitely taste some authentic asian spices going on in there, and the meat was nice and tender Service: 11/10 We ordered take out but you can absolutely dine in if you wanted to, plenty of booths and/or tables to choose from. But I did wanna mention that we were lucky enough to meet Charlie, the owner! Really nice guy, after we gave him our order, our server Kyle took such good care of us. Checked in on us multiple times & offered to get us some water while waiting for our food. Overall: 10/10 Food was delicious, the chefs obviously know what's good, hats off to them! First time trying this place out and it didn't disappoint and love that you can also order directly from your phone through all major food delivery apps or you can even text your order in, how convenient!

First off, we loved the fresh homemade potato chips that are served for lunch. They were hot and so generous - I didn't think we'd finish, but did because they were so light and tasty. The kids shared a kids pizza and fried chicken and fries - a pretty good deal especially since the chicken is their specialty. I had the mix plate - which included the medium rare steak, fried fish, and fried chicken - a yummy assortment for $24. I was STUFFED and happy to get to try an assortment of their best dishes! My husband tried the smashed burger and fries - perfectly seasoned, went well with the bun, fresh tomato and lettuce, and without mayonnaise or special sauce as requested. We're looking forward to visiting for breakfast soon! Those dishes look really yummy, and reasonably priced, too!

I was told that there might be a short wait, but a reservation was not necessary. My friend and I ordered the BLT sandwich and our other friend ordered some sort of chicken. We all enjoyed our food, more so it was a nice place to sit and have a conversation. Our server was efficient, I sound recommended this spot for a quick get together. The food options are not fancy, but it came out quickly and we had no complaints.

The whole table sits down and has to stare at their phones putting credit card info into their system to try and order a beer. I'm not there to look at my phone, I'm there to be actively engaged with my friends/family. Then they have the nerve to make 20% the default tip? The waitress did not check on us, I had to fetch my own condiments, and order my food through a website. There was not any personal service whatsoever. As far as value, beers were $8 a pop for a normal glass. A local style 12oz beer was $10! I am shocked at prices, lack of service, and yet crowded. Can we not expect better?

Alright, this may seem harsh but it's gotta be done. Two Stars based entirely on the burger,…read morebecause it was that bad. Context: Lunchtime stop in Pearlridge. Place was not very busy. Place is called Beer Lab, so must comment on the beer. Got a tiny beer, Hazy IPA, which was tasty. Food: Giant Pretzel App- Good Pretzel. Good cheese. $1.50 for tiny cup of mustard was annoying. Burgers: Son and I ordered the same thing- single smash burger. He got his plain, just meat and cheese. I got everything that came on it. His was fine. Mine was not. First, bun to meat ratio was outrageously bad. Smashburgers are supposed to be thin, so you gotta use a smaller bun. Double probably would have been a better call, but in this case it would have just doubled the really unpleasant taste. The whole thing was burned. The bun was burned, the burger was burned, the caramelized onions were burned. This may just have been the burned taste, but it also tasted dirty, like it came off of a nasty grill. And, yes I ate it anyway. I dont send back food. I take pictures of it half eaten and tell random strangers on the internet how bad it tasted. Service was good, beer was good, pretzel was good. Burger was so abysmally bad that I cant ever see going back here. You can clearly see looking at the bun that its burned, and they sent it out anyway. That speaks volumes about how a restaurant is run.
