We stopped into dine here fairly often but they changed the Caesar salad to a spinach salad without notifying customers or adjusting the price. When I brought it to the staff's attention they acknowledged there were salad components including a peppercorn dressing on a Caesar salad. Yuck! Was excited to try this place since the food looked amazing. We ordered chicken strips and a side of coleslaw to eat it with, tator tots, fries, the delux chicken sandwich and a peanut butter chocolate cookie dough shake. The chicken strips were super salty and just felt very heavy in regards to flavor to eat by themselves. The French fries were so salty they were inedible. The tator tots are dusted with a special seasoning and we both didn't enjoy the flavor. My husband said it reminded him of a bbq seasoning and for me one of the bites had a super strong taste of burnt bbq. The two things that were the best were the chicken sandwich and the shake. The sandwich wasn't anything special; the chicken wasn't that crispy, the buns weren't that good, cheese okay. My husband hadn't eaten breakfast and was super hungry so you can tell it wasn't that amazing when he's starving and says it wasn't anything amazing. The shake had good flavor. The straw couldn't pickup a lot of it due to the bits of cookie dough and it being somewhat thicker consistency but I enjoyed it! read more

First time to Birdcall, out of the gate you are presented with a very unique hexagonal experience. There are several kiosks that you are able to place your order. The key here is to realize that the kiosk system requires your credit card / payment card out of the gate to start your order. Once started you are able to easily navigate the menu and order the different items you would like selected. My family and I all did the Nashville Hot sandwich / combo of which we did customize each sandwich. The staff quickly heard our "call" and while the store was extremely busy we received our drinks and food promptly. Now for those of you that are Nashville Hot fans, this is probably the closest to "Haddie-B's" as you can get in Denver. I would also recommend going with the Extra Hot option if you want to feel the burn. The fries and tots are unique, the tots have a "liquid smoke" type seasoning on them that may or may not be your thing. The fries are standard fair but are fresh and delicious. Overall this was a great Hot Chicken experience, and I have no feathers or bones to pick. read more

The food is pretty good, but the ordering system is chaotic. We have eaten here several times and every time our order somehow gets lost in the system. There is a large framework where all the food ends up and it seems anybody could grab a bag and walk out. Maybe that's what has happened to our orders. Once you actually get the food, it is decent. But life seemed a lot simpler when this location (on Hampden) was a Burger King and you could actually walk up to the counter and order from a live person. read more

Darn good! First time coming to Birdcall. I went through the drive through and got gluten-free nuggets and tots for me. The nuggets were tasty, and juicy. A bit on the sweet side for my taste, but still good. Not greasy! A classic sandwich and fries for my boyfriend and he inhaled it. The tots have a wonderful and unique flavor and the fries were solid. The staff at the drive through were very nice and went above and beyond. They let me try the brussel sprout salad and even gave my sweet dog a "pup cup" which is peanut butter and whipped cream. We didn't end up getting the sauces we ordered, but the food was delicious without any! read more

i gave this place a second chance tonight after a lousy salad the first time. I should've kept driving. My Brussels sprout salad is inedible because of super tough, all stems and myth tater tots were cold. Not just a little cold freezing cold. This was after waiting in the drive thru for 10 minutes and the person telling me told hold on after I dared to say Hello after all that time. There was exactly one person ahead of me! It's Tuesday 07Jun22 around 9:30pm, been in the drive thru for 15min. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. Just got home, live a few blocks away, with my original chicken and some tots. Chicken is mostly cold fried batter and and tots are salty fried crunch balls. This place is definitely one and done. Fast service and good prices make this a pretty sick spot. Service: Great. You order on a tablet, and receive a text when you get your food. Always within 10 mins. Pretty nice employees too. Food: Great. Chicken sandwiches are good, and the price makes them even more tasty. I've had quite a few chicken sandwiches, and this one stands out because it doesn't rely on sauce or any dumb additions to make it better. My problem with Chick-Fil-A and any of the other "chicken" places is that they are carried so hard by their sauces. Not true with this place. BirdCall is a really great place to get your quick chicken sandwich fix! My favorites are the Nashville Hot and the Chicken Cesar. Also love that I get the option to choose Tater Tot's or French Fries. It's like an "elevated" Chick-fil-a but with more exciting options! They also serve cocktails which calls for points in my book. I love Birdcall! I usually get the Asian salad and add chicken, but today I tried the Caesar salad. It was delicious, but the Asian salad is still my favorite. Happy hour starts at 2:00 on Friday,(other days too?) so draft beer, margaritas, etc are HH pricing. Michael, the friendly bartender was awesome! If you're looking for a good chicken sandwich this is the place just by taking the first bite you can tell the quality of the chicken. It also has a great atmosphere and a bar so it's kind of like Chick-fil-A but upgraded. They also have multiple sauces to try and variety of sandwiches that each have their own individual flair.
