This place is pretty solid! I don't eat meat anymore, so when I saw they had a vegan chicken option I had to try. If you're familiar with Meati, that's the brand of chicken they use. Good texture and they season and bread it well. The tots and dipping sauces were really good too. My friend got the chicken strips and loved them. The restaurant itself is nice with an interesting interior. Also very clean. You order on screens. TERRIBLE experience here. You walk in and the only way you can order is through a kisosk. That kiosk quit out on our order three times and went back to the main screen where you had to choose to go back to the customer portion. This was both annoying and frustrating. I was ordering an original chicken sandwich meal which shows as full price and it would not let me modify the meal to remove pickles as I cannot eat pickles. I had to get somebody to ask them why it would not allow me to modify. She told me it's because the Sandwich is $1 on Sundays and cannot be noticed. However, this promotion is NOT listed anywhere within the establishment and as I stated, the original chicken meal was shown as full price when I placed the item in the cart. I also offered to pay full price to remove the pickles and I was told no. This is an unacceptable practice to not be transparent with people coming to order from your place of business. The bird box came with a slider, 2 chicken strips, and fries! I got the classic slider, the bread was soft, and the chicken was crispy. The bird sauce was so tasty so definitely get that one to dip your chicken in. Also, got the Nashville hot chicken strips, -let me tell you they do gave a little kick! The fries were a decent size as well. My partner got the Nashville chicken sandwich *Beware it comes without sauce, and what's chicken without sauce? Birdcall has a fresh, new vibe to its approach to fast food. The diner inside and out is eye catching with a fun colorful mural on the wall and an electronic marquee advertising the weather, date, and time. Inside feels like a sit down restaurant minus the waitstaff. The interior decor is modern, clean, and comfortable. There are several touchscreens on the counter where you can order food. You must swipe your credit card first. I'm not even positive that paying in cash is even an option here. The menu pops up afterwards so you can select a category from the navigation bar on the left and then select the item you want on the right. Descriptions and pictures were available as well as additions. The system is smart and quick. I ordered the Nashville crispy chicken sandwich which is made spicy, but the system immediately prompted me asking me hot I wanted it. After selecting my sandwich, it immediately asked me if I wanted to make it a combo, and then walked me through the choices of sides and drinks. Upon checkout, you can have your receipt emailed or forego it entirely. For the first time ever, I wasn't asked for an obligatory tip. In fact, it wasn't even an option. If you are like me and want more time to study the menu and explore before ordering, you can also look at the electronic menu boards above the bar, or you can sit down and look at a laminated house menu or a to go brochure menu. Once you have placed your order, there is an electronic board that displays your name (probably lifted from my credit card) and the time it will take to prepare your order. After the order is ready, someone from the kitchen will stick it in a numbered cubbyhole where you can pick it up. You really don't interact with the employees here at all. Occasionally they come out to clean a table, call a name and number, and say hello, how is everything, but for the most part you just hangout and eat while they take care if the cooking. My Nashville was spicy and sweet. The sweetness was from the chunky bread and butter pickles on the sandwich. The spiciness was just right (I went with the normal "hot" option). The meat was tender and plentiful. Every bite tasty. The bun was plump and kept its form, but it had a bit of a greasy glaze which I wasn't a fan of. Not a lot, but a shimmer of a glow. It just means you're going to need napkins and to wash your hands afterwards. The lemonade was cool and refreshing, not sour, not sickly sweet. The drink station provided crushed ice, which I love. I didn't see lids or straws. The cup encourages people to "recycle me". The Southern Coleslaw seemed very plain. It is not made with mayonnaise. Instead, it seemed to be made with a vinegar. The veggies were crisp and it was a very large portion served in a container with a lid so you could share it or take it to go for another meal later. I probably wouldn't get this again because (1) the flavor wasn't enticing and (2) there are many other things to try. Intriguing place, especially the hands-off atmosphere and lack of interaction between customers and staff. The food is solid. It's much better than Popeye's or KFC in my opinion because it has healthier options (salads are available) and seems to be prepared and presented with higher quality ingredients and greater care. read more

It was 25 minutes before we got our food. $43 for one drink, two chicken sandwiches, a salad - advertised as spinach based, there was no spinach - fries, and a side of Cole slaw. I met my son for lunch one day last week to try out Birdcall. I really love the graphics and fun decor with an area that opens up to the middle outdoor patio area. You order on the kiosk and there are friendly workers that can help you every step of the way. My son ordered the Rancher with tater tots and I ordered the regular basic chicken sandwich with French fries. Each of the meals are $13.65 for a combo which includes the sandwich, side and a drink. So it was $30 for two combo meals. I tried one of his tater tots and I must say, we both agreed we didn't care for the seasoning on the tater tots. The fries were better. The bun was great and the pickle was nice and crunchy and the sandwich was pretty big and thick and had a good taste. I only ate half there and took the other half home. I love Birdcall. I hadn't been to this location before. I usually have trouble using your iPad to order so a clerk is usually around. I again had issues but finally a clerk came in from outside and thankfully helped me get my order in. After just a few minutes a guy came out from the kitchen area and got me my drink cup also asked if I wanted any sauce which I appreciated. My food came out minutes later the fries/tenders were hot and delicous. I was impressed how clean and how colorful the inside & outside of the store was. The food was hot, fresh, delicious, seasoned. If you go I highly suggest you get the tots (BEST tots ever). The patio will be a nice place to sit once it warms up outside. I have wanted to try Birdcall and was finally "in the area" on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was pretty full with just enough space to wait comfortably after ordering. I just got an original sandwich to go, but this sandwich was DELICIOUS! The first bite was tasty and juicy and so good! The chicken was tender and flavorful and balanced well with the portion of pickles and bun. Glad I didn't ruin it with any condiments. I don't know why I bother coming to this place. My order is wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME I've come here. I ordered the three nugget meal and got a soggy chicken sandwich instead. It takes forever to get food even though I'm the only one in the drive thru- I waited almost 15 minutes for my incorrect order. Additionally, they make you pull up into a parking space to wait for your food regardless of if there's a line. The menu is very complicated and annoying to order from.
