It looked so cool online but a lot of little things will keep us from returning. You have to place your order on a touch screen by swiping a card. Maybe they don't accept cash, maybe they just don't make it easy to order if you're gonna pay cash. Either way, I swiped a card and placed our orders. Then I did it again because one meal was in the checkout. I tried the coconut drink, but it was awful. Poured it out and the cherry was fine. My wife wanted the hibiscus tea. It was empty so she tried the black tea and it was good. We saw our name and that of two other orders displayed on the big screen tv. If you're a single girl, that seems like it wouldn't be a great thing... We found a seat which was bench-like with deep grooves. You could see a lot of food crumbs and junk in them. We had seen this place before and decided to give it a try. The ordering process was a breeze and the estimated time was spot on and there was no issue picking it up from the window. Food: We tried the Rancher, and the Deluxe. Both sandwiches were very tasty. The prices range from $6-12 and sides are extra. For the price point - I don't see myself frequenting this place sadly as there other options with food that is on par but less expensive. Stopped in for late lunch/early dinner, ambiance was fresh and clean. Seating both inside and out. Ordering took place at a kiosk but there was plenty of help nearby to answer questions. My wife and I ordered chicken sandwiches. ( The Rancher & Grilled Chicken Caesar). Both came out quick, hot & fresh. We both got combo meals, Tater tots that were super crispy and well seasoned. I have been here 3 times and every single time they have either forgotten something or messed up our order. Didn't care for the taste of the chicken: The chicken is seasoned with cayenne pepper even their "regular" chicken. It's unfortunate that those of us with spice sensitivities are often overlooked. Not everyone likes spicy food. I I spent $14 on a salad with NO CHICKEN bc your company INSISTS on putting cayenne pepper in your pre made seasoning. Definitely not worth the price for the taste. I will say the margaritas are great and Chris was absolutely amazing in helping me and I would go back for drinks and tots based on my interaction with Chris alone. Cool curb appeal. I walked in on Monday a week after opening at 11:10am. Greeted and feel right at home to order off a kiosk. I had a To Go order. Rancher combo with fries and organic Arnold Palmer to drink. I also got a three piece chicken tender with several dips. The sandwich was good and crispy with a tasty bacon onion jam. The chicken was thin on this one for the cost. The fries were mostly short which made difficult to dip, messy fingers. Nice clean location with good chicken. I will be back :) read more

Well this new restaurant in Richardson has not been slow since it opened on February 19th. How do I know that I pass by here daily. I love the inside/ outside dining areas. The garage doors ass a different flare to the decor. Let's see how it does in the Texas heat. As you walk in they have 4 kiosk available for you to order. Personnel is available if you get stuck at the kiosk. Now on to the good part the chicken. The chicken was definitely breaded well and the chicken was moist and tender, but left me a little flat on flavor. I also longed for just a little bit of heat, which they do offer those items. The tots were good especially when dipped in the birdcall sauce. I have to try again with something else next time. read more

I recently tried, tried the southern chicken sandwich from Bird call and was very pleased. The chicken was moist and had an ice crunchy coating. I particularly enjoyed the combination of the pimento cheese and coleslaw. This was a combination that I had never had before.. Excited this place opened close by our neighborhood. We usually are chick fil a people but always looking to try new spots. We have been here about five times over the past few months. The inside is nice and definitely more upscale than a regular fast food spot, they also have a full bar. The service has been pretty good for the most part. The three stars go mainly to the food quality. I've ordered nuggets for my daughter on a couple of occasions and they are pretty terrible. The chicken has been a little tough, flavorless, and dry. The sandwiches are better but still lacking in flavor. I would recommend doing a quality check on several items because the chicken just doesn't seem all that great.
