While I wouldn't say BirdHouse is quite as amazing/special as all the reviews suggest, it is certainly very good and popular for good reason. The menu is a bit limited (just varieties of chicken basically), and I went with the Chicken Sandwich. It was pretty standard with fried chicken, pickles, and sauce and I will say, the chicken was really nicely crispy and very juicy/tender. Also, it was only $10 - very hard to find those kinds of prices around these days. The restaurant has a small parking lot, but a decent amount of seating. There is a nice outdoor seating area, where we were sat. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The service speed is also decent. With these good prices and tasty chicken, it's tough to ask for much more from a place like this. Great choice for a chill/casual meal in Page.

This is a must try spot in Page!! The chicken is so good, and their prices are incredibly reasonable (great value!). Very cute outdoor covered patio, with inside seating as well. Service was fast and friendly (the best kind). Of the items on their menu, you cannot go wrong. I highly recommend the chicken sandwich (I had the honey butter). After ordering, I heard the sandwich with honey butter and extra spicy is a huge hit. Safe to say that's what I'll be trying next time!

Easily the best meal I've had in Arizona. After a long day in the sun exploring the canyon and Horseshoe Bend, my boyfriend and I were extremely hungry, so we were excited to find a chicken spot nearby. Not just any chicken place, but one that had been highly praised by reviewers online, so we had to try it. The chicken was crispy and juicy, the fries were well seasoned, though a little on the harder side, and the mac and cheese was one of the best I've ever had, super creamy and delicious. I really enjoyed this meal. The price was reasonable for the portion size, and this is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone visiting.

Loved eating at this local spot! The staff were super friendly and the outdoor seating had a lot of room for big groups. Ordered the thigh and leg plate which came with a side. The chicken was juicy and tender. The plate even came with an extra piece! I preferred the honey butter over the spicy but both complimented the crispy chicken well. The Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were hits at the table! Gave the donut holes a chance and they were more cakey than donut in texture but still satisfied our dessert craving. Highly recommend checking them out.

The food at Birdhouse was excellent. The fries were incredible, perfectly crispy and well seasoned. The house-made sauce really stood out and added a lot of flavor to the meal. The chicken was tender and juicy on the inside with a crispy exterior, making the skin especially satisfying. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Lots of seating, good ambiance. Overall, everything was well executed, flavorful, and enjoyable. Definitely a spot worth checking out.

Heard great things about the "famous" fried chicken and cold beer. After a long day of adventuring on the lake and in the canyons, this did not disappoint. I had the half bird and did part spicy and part honey butter I had the broccoli salad as my side. The chicken was juicy with a great crunch / crisp. I also liked the ranch / honey mustard sauces. They have a select number of beers to choose from. You order from the counter and then they will bring it out to you. Fast casual type of service so you have get up and get what you need. Seating outside is really nice. Definitely recommend as a good meal to refuel.

I really enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich from Birdhouse! But what especially stood out was the honey butter flavor that I got for the chicken. I felt like the sauce was the standout. I also like the portion as well! I had it with the fries as well, but didn't feel like the fries stood out.

Stumbled upon Birdhouse while passing through town, and I'm so glad we did. The chicken at this rustic, walk-up-and-order spot was fantastic. We tried both the original and spicy chicken tenders, and both were excellent. Also, don't skip the crispy seasoned french fries -- a must. Can't wait to stop by again.

Very moist fried chicken, and you can see that most clearly in the chicken breast piece. Chicken stays crispy for quite a long time. Though I still think New Orleans fried chicken is better. They have 3 flavors: chili, original, and honey butter, but original and honey butter taste the same imo. Their house sauce is good, has a hint of honey mustard. Fries is okay but mac n cheese is not good. Their individual piece portion actually has 2 pieces, at least for thigh and tender.

This place wasn't bad. Was open late. The chicken was nice and crunchy! I got 2 of their house made ranch, and they were good!! The fries were a bit sad, the chicken comes out crunchy but the fries were not crunchy at all. The donut holes were awesome! The warm jelly is the best dip IMO. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in town!

Like many folks, I was in Page, Arizona to visit Lower Antelope Canyon and the tour group I joined had selected BirdHouse as our lunch stop. I did look them up before getting here and am a fan of chicken sandos. Since I was there in December, our tour guide phoned in our orders ahead of time so he can grab the food for us to eat in the van as he continued to drive in order to maximize daylight as we still needed to hit Horseshoe Bend after Antelope Canyon. But, still got the try both the honey butter and spicy chicken sandos. Wish we had fries too but the sandos are a good size and I'd say that the honey butter was better tasting than the spicy sando.

If you find yourself in Page and craving some seriously good fried chicken, Birdhouse is the spot. The chicken here is awesome-- juicy, crispy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they take pride in their seasoning; the rub had just the right blend of spice and depth without overpowering the meat. And that crisp! The skin had that ideal crunch that stayed light. I also really enjoyed the broccoli salad -- fresh, lightly dressed, and a great balance to the richness of the chicken. On top of that, the food came out quick, hot, and fresh, even during a busy period. Overall, Birdhouse hits all the marks: quick service, incredible flavor, and some of the crispiest fried chicken you'll find in northern Arizona. Easily a must-stop when passing through Page.

After reading the reviews, I knew we had to stop here for lunch on our way out of Page. We arrived just as they opened, and the food was delivered to our car after ordering with the friendly staff inside. My boyfriend and I were both so happy we made a stop here! The chicken here is absolutely incredible. I usually find fried/fast food gross and my boyfriend loves it. The fact that we *both* liked it here tells you it must be good! I don't write reviews often. In fact, I have only reviewed 2 other restaurants on Yelp...However, I felt obligated to review BirdHouse for it going above and beyond expectations. For starters, the staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. They were so accommodating and helpful. Secondly, the food itself was phenomenal. The chicken tastes homemade and authentic. The flavors are great too especially the spicy for those that enjoy some heat on their meat. They also house a nice selection of craft beer with many coming from AZ breweries. They also play really good radio stations and that certainly helped. Overall, I will be talking about this place for awhile and I'll most certainly be back. read more

We got the drumstick and wing as well as the chicken sandwich and both were fantastic. The food was hot and came out quick from the kitchen. I got the honey chicken and it was just the right amount of sweet and savory. The waiter was very attentive but not hovering, and it was a super chill environment! The food was soooo good. The cashier was very nice as well. We had honey butter chicken tenders and a 2 piece. The birdhouse sauce is honey mustard and it was delicious! The ranch was really good as well. The sides were mashed potatoes, chicken rice, & Cole slaw. Everything was pretty good for the sides. My kids said the mashed potatoes tasted like their schools', lol. I thought they were pretty good. The only reason why this was a 4 is because the bathrooms could use some help. It doubles as the janitor closet. It's a single toilet, shared between men and women. If I come back to the Page, AZ area, I'll be back! Thanks! read more

Fantastic food and service. What more could you ask for on your road trip. Cool spot with chicken done right. Got the chicken sandwich with honey sauce. It was flaked perfectly and juicy in the middle. The sauce and pickles were a perfect blend of flavors. Also got the spicy chicken pieces and they were legit too. Oh Em Gee!!!! You must try this place. fried chicken never tasted so damn good. Much needed after hours of kayaking. Service 5 star. Cleanliness 5 stars. Chicken off the chart! Everything we got was delicious. The chicken sandwich that my husband got was massive and the best we've ever tasted. Mashed potatoes and gravy, so good!!! Oh don't believe the reviews that say they serve Mac n cheese and waffles, cause they don't. It was the first thing that was said to us, when we told them we found them through Yelp... exact words were, "don't believe the yelp reviews they are misleading" in regards to that at least. read more

What an excellent find in a tiny town! We headed over here after a hike at Horseshoe Bend. Food: got the two piece original fried chicken with a side of brocc salad and a SECRET MENU ITEM (it's their chicken sandwich with a mix of sauces - ask the cashier for it!) with a side of fries. SO GOOD!!! Food came out before we could even self seat ourselves. The fried chicken was super juicy and not over seasoned. Brioche was the Perf choice for the sandwich bread because it soaked up all the juice from the chicken. But let's talk about the real stars - BROCC SALAD WAS BOMBBBB. not overly Mayo at all! How do you maximize the crunch to potes ratio in fries? Crinkle cut them!! Seasoning is delicious too! Covid: they have plenty of outdoor seating and some limited indoor seating (it's just a small place in general). It got crowded while I was there so I wish I was outside. You can grab your own utensils and condiments, which also made me nervous but thankfully, they had a wash station and hand sanitizer available. Otherwise, they followed all typical covid protocols for restaurants and I generally felt safe! read more

This spot is a cool lil spot. We love the seating, and the food is simple and tasty. Yummy! Great value for your hard earned moola too. Car park....they got 'em and it is free. The employees were helpful and welcoming. They the took time to explain their menu and answered any questions we might have. We had such a great experience, we returned for more... THANK GOODNESS there is something decent to eat within 100 miles of this place. Solid, solid food and service. Great outdoor (covered) seating available. Ordered: thighs, wings, legs, tenders (all 3 flavors), soda, prickly pear margarita. Sides were pickles, fries, Mac and cheese. Wings - 5/5. Honey butter is my favorite. Original is also very tasty (the two sauce options make great pairings) and the spicy is pretty hot. Super crunchy and not too greasy on the outside and moist within. Sides - 5/5. The portions are good, and the Mac and cheese has some sort of chip (Doritos?) sprinkled on top. the pickles were also really great! Drinks - 4/5. Had the prickly pear margarita and it was super sweet. Pretty refreshing until it's a little overwhelming (and I couldn't taste any alcohol.. which isn't always a good thing). I recommend drinking some then watering it down. Overall, this is the place you should be going to between hikes or travel days. I was beginning to give up on the ice of eating decent food in the area (that also followed covid procedures) but this is a gem that the city should work to keep forever. Located in what looks to be an old sonic. Patio is super nice with misters. BOMB fried chicken. Tender and juicy- hard to nail both instead of one or the other. Saw a lot of reviews dogging the mac and cheese but felt compelled to give my own opinion. Should have listened to the reviews. It wasn't terrible at all, but better exists. Wow! This was the best fried chicken that my family and I had ever had. I had the honey butter wings. My daughter had the chicken tenders. And my husband had a two piece leg and thigh. The chicken was so moist. Flavor was spot on. We had sides of French fries, pickled vegetables, and Mac&cheese. Everything was so delicious after our hike thru antelope canyon and horseshoe bend. Seriously amazing chicken tenders! I consider myself to be somewhat of a chicken tender enthusiast and this place exceeded all expectations! I ordered the original flavoring and dipped with their made in house butter milk ranch and hot sauce. Patio seating is plenty, even with current social distancing spacing, and they have plenty of misting fans to keep it cool. Highly recommended whenever visiting Page! read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk by, but the chicken is done right! This is one of the best fried chicken places my family and I have eaten! I have 5 kids, 4 are boys from 7-11 and I heard zero complaints. You have three options for flavor; original, spicy and honey butter I believe. We got original and spicy. Both were delicious. We are from Texas and really like spicy. This said it was extra spicy; it's definitely not extra spicy, but it has great flavor. The house made pickles are really good, the seasoned fries are great, so are the mashed potatoes. The mac and cheese is different, reminds me a bit of beer cheese, but it was definitely enjoyable. I would absolutely eat here again anytime I come to Page. My husband feels the exact same way. I should have taken pictures before we started eating, but we were hungry. Came here after visiting Antelope Canyon and SO GLAD WE FOUND THIS GEM THROUGH YELP!!! Best fried chicken ever, and GET THE SWEET TEA. Extremely friendly service, and you seat yourself in the outdoor seating with plenty of shade. Get the honey butter!!!!! We only got to try the birdhouse sauce, which was reminiscent of honey mustard. I don't even think you really need the sauce when you get the honey butter flavored chicken though, and the chicken itself is already so juicy. read more

Delicious, crispy fried chicken with tasty sides. I ordered a whole chicken which came with 2 legs, 2 thighs, 2 breasts, and 2 wings. I got half spicy and half honey butter. The chicken came very crispy and the spicy flavor was a dry rub, which tasted like a cayenne pepper mixture. It had a nice spicy kick which I feel like many things that come spicy aren't actually spicy. The honey butter flavor came in a mildly sweet glaze that the chicken was baked in. Despite the sticky sauce, my chicken still stayed very crispy. I ordered online for take out and despite being busy, I only had to wait as long as the estimated wait time and for that, I think they deserve more than 5 stars. I highly recommend this place! Excellent all around. Fantastic service, food, ambiance. This is a must visit spot. Perfect for small or big groups. The aesthetics are super on point, it feels like you're in Page but at a cute hip little joint. Casual chic. I had the thigh and leg spicy and oh my gosh so darn delicious!!!! They have some regional beers too, I recommend Four Peaks Octoberfest which is seasonal. My husband loves their spicy chicken tenders! Their sides are wonderful. I loved their broccoli salad and the pickles. Reasonably priced, plenty of parking, friendly helpful service and a really nice place to check out. I've never had fried chicken this good. Highly recommend. I hope they don't change a thing because they have it dialed in to perfection. Well I guess I hope they add more locations! read more

The fried chicken was very good. Large pieces, well seasoned, and very juicy. I'm deducting one star because the sides were terrible. We got fries and broccoli salad and both of these were so bad that we ended up tossing most of it. The broccoli salad was just broccoli chunks swimming in mayonnaise and the fries were bland. Get the chicken, don't get the sides. read more

Food was excellent. We ordered tenders and almost all the sides and took home lots of left overs. I was afraid the honey version would be too sweet but it wasn't overpowering at all. Only downside is the price...this isn't a cheep dinner but it's excellent food and you won't leave hungry. read more

My family and I chose Birdhouse for lunch because of the hundreds of great reviews on Yelp. Their quick service, delicious food, and down-to-earth atmosphere is so good. We quickly and easily ordered our food at the counter. If the inside seats weren't full, we would've missed out on the awesome outdoor patio--shaded and misted. Shortly after sitting, they delivered our boneless chicken wings, broccoli salad, and coleslaw. Their speedy and quick service is praiseworthy. We all loved the boneless chicken and crisp fries. Sweet seasoning and light, crisp breading on the chicken wings was perfect. The only negative I have is the fresh broccoli salad and coleslaw lacked flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant for any person that craves fried chicken. read more

The chicken is very oily, but boy is that skin nice and crunchy and well seasoned! Don't forget the house sauce. The Mac & cheese is super creamy and well- seasoned crunchy fries. Excellent service, very clean dining area, they keep the tables and garbage can areas well. If you still have room, those donut holes are crunchy and the dipping sauces (Nutella and raspberry jam) are delicious! read more

All I'm gonna say is we went back to hot ass page from hot ass Phoenix just to eat this honey butter chicken, and I don't even eat chicken on a normal like For real. Get with it or get lost. Do your check out person and yourself a favor and call ahead or order online please. Good food takes time && in this Arizona heat people can get a little ego filled and forget how patience is truly a virtue. Thank you whomever entrepreneur opened this bad boy true gem of my state. Great food and great service from everyone except for one employee who was responsible for helping people find seating. She was incredibly unaccommodating and it unfortunately wrecked the experience for our group of 6 (with small children). She would't let us sit at an indoor table even after we waited in line. I'd most definitely come back here again. I was here at off peak hours and was very pleased. Once I got up to the desk I kindly asked the waitress about what seasonings she recommended and she suggested mixing spicy and honey butter. I said sign me up! It was DELICIOUS!! Enjoyed that and a beer while watching a summer rain storm after completing my antelope valley / horse shoe bend tours. So amazing! read more

WOW. BirdHouse was one of our favorite places to get fried chicken, especially here in Arizona! Located in Downtown Page, this counter service restaurant serves great and tender chicken. Three flavors to choose from - Original, honey glazed, and spicy. Five of us ordered 24 pieces of chicken (which we were told was a lot but we were so hungry since we didn't eat lunch and we showed up for early dinner). 12 pieces came with 2 large sides so we got 4 large sides as we ordered 24 (mix of thighs and drumsticks). Established in 2017.

BirdHouse is a concept that was created by a group of friends that wanted to build something special and DELICIOUS. Our love for fried chicken grow beyond the attendance of restaurants, into cultivating our own. On a random trip to Page, for all the beautiful things it had to offer, we thought it was a great place for us to have our love affair. Not only did Page, AZ not have a fried chicken place, but it was a place where it desired it. We are so happy to be here and to provide a great environment for some good old fashion fried chicken, with a twist of course. We hope you enjoy not just the food, but take in all that Page, AZ has to offer, with our out door seating.

My name is Eddie, and my background is in the culinary arts. Working in the restaurant business has always been my thing.
