In total, we paid $7.50, which was not bad at all! The space is spacious inside with an ample parking lot, but I would say this is more of a grab-and-go place; there is some outdoor seating. We got a pizza with tomato, olive oil, feta, and olives. The service was quick, straightforward, and we were able to get our slices within 5 minutes and it came out hot which was great! The pizza itself is on the thinner side and has a good ratio of dough to cheese. The crust/base was chewy and light and did in fact, taste healthy (in a good way)! Do I think this place is somewhere you must go to try out? Honestly, no, it is a good value pizza that tastes delicious, but I would say to only stop in if you are around the area.

He was very forthright in stating that due to Covid he was baking from home but that all Covid protocols were in place. He walked me thru the types of cakes he could get by my deadline and I chose the Herman Chocolate Cake. I checked in with him the day before delivery and recd a text when the cake was delivered. The process was easy and flawless because I used CashApp. Now my dad is very particular about things re sweets due to diabetes but he told me that he hasn't ever tasted a sugar free cake so darn good. His cake was delivered on Saturday and since then he has talked about the cake. Even his wife was pretty impressed. Though I didn't taste the cake, I know it was delicious because my dad doesn't play when it comes to food. He said it was fresh and super delicious. And he couldn't believe it was super free as he continued to enjoy it!! Thank you for brightening up my dads birthday as none of us siblings are in the area and I know this made his year!! There are glass cases full of breads, cakes, eclairs, tarts and other delicious looking baked goods. On the top of the cases are jars with a variety of cookies to choose from, as well as, one of my favorites, their lemon shortbread bar. The lemon shortbread bar is amazing. They stack the wedges in a large lidded glass jar, each wedge separated with a sheet of white parchment paper. I believe this is one of the hidden gems at La Farine. The shortbread crust Is tender and buttery and hold holds it shape well when you bite into it. The lemon curd is creamy with the right amount of tang, and there is a thin sweet layer of crunch on top of curd that puts this bar over the top. The balance of textures and flavors is perfect. I also highly recommend the chocolate eclairs. Each one is filled with a generous amount of piped whipped cream, a pate choux with good flavor and texture, and topped with a rich, silky layer of chocolate ganache. Overall their prices are reasonable -lemon shortbread bar $3, and chocolate eclair 3.50. I decided to give La Farine four stars because on a previous visit I had a slice of the Moka cake, and was not impressed. It is an attractive and delicious looking cake with lovely pale moka colored frosting surrounding layers of dark chocolate cake, however, the frosting lacked the coffee and chocolate flavor combo that I was looking forward to, and sadly the frosting was more waxy than creamy. That being said, I will definitely be back to search for the next delicious gems at this very lovely bakery on Piedmont Ave.

I ordered a mini kalamata olive loaf, which was the perfect size for snacking. Service was quick and efficient, and I took my bread to-go to enjoy at home. I appreciated how the loaf is baked with more olives per square inch than any olive bread I have ever tasted. The sourdough had a good chew without being too tough and was soft and fluffy on the inside. The tangy sourdough and briny olives needed little else but were enhanced with a pat of French butter. On my next visit, I'd like to try La Farine's other sourdough loaves and baguettes.
