I really wanted this place to be good. My wife is from the Lexington area and bragged about the Biscuit King there. They take online orders, so that's what we did. I arrived on time and had to wait on line a minute to let then know about my pick up. They had the order right there and said that one of the items rang up at the wrong price and they would refund the difference to my credit card. Another girl handed me a bag with my burgers in it. I was asked if there was a meal included in my order. The answer was yes and I was handed a cup. I got my drink while waiting on the onion rings and fries. I was standing at the counter for several minutes in plain view of the girl that just helped me. Finally I tell her that my email said the order would be ready at 1:01 PM. It is now 1:08 PM. The girl pointed to the bag and said my order was ready. I told her no, those are only the burgers. Now she has to scramble to find my onion rings and finish cooking the fries. I finally get my order and headed home. AFTER EVERYTHING I WENT THROUGH, SHE SHORTED ME AND ORDER OF FRIES! See the pictures of the onion rings and fries. Pretty skimpy too. Find someplace else to go. I believe part of the problem is with the online software. If you order a meal, it comes up as sandwich only in the summary, only the price is higher. The food is solid if you're in a hurry. I opted for the veggie omelette in a bowl. It was pretty tasty. The biscuits are nice and large but a bit doughy. I like the fact that you can order anything off the menu at any time of day. If you want a burger at 7:00 am you can have it. I did find that they left something off my order and I had to go back and get it. I'm glad I wasn't on the highway headed home or something. I actually waited in a designated parking spot for my order so to forget my cinnamon roll was definitely something that could have been avoided. I would return if I was in a pinch like this morning but would definitely not seek them out. read more

The Biscuit King, Sedgebrook Street, right off of 68. Technically High Point, but so close to Greensboro its not funny. I've put off eating at this place to let them get settled in. As other Yelpers have said the biscuit competition around here is strong. First of all this has to be the most difficult place to get into and out of in the entire Triad. The parking lot is tiny and full of curbs and medians, like a miniature golf course. There is only one entrance and exit, right at the drive through speaker. Who ever designed this parking lot should pick a new line of work. You have to make a hard right turn when you enter, then snake all the way around the building to enter the drive through, with more super tight turns. This puts you back where you started at the entrance, except in a tiny lane with traffic poles. Snake all the way around the building again through the same maze to exit. Insane I tell you, absolutely insane. F Minus on the entrance and parking. This place is brand new, and it looks like it. It's clean, and nice. There were at least 6 people working in here on my visit, with not that many quests. Ordering was easy enough, only having to repeat myself once. The wait. It took a good 5 minutes to get my food. At least that means the biscuits are not sitting around getting soggy. They are made to order, and thats nice. To me, the biscuits were fine. Some have called them under done, but they were certainly not over done. Personally I dont like hard biscuits, so these were good with me. The taste and consistency were all ok. Fried steak biscuit with egg and cheese. This is the litmus test for me. Go or no go. Anybody can make sausage and eggs. I was surprised to find good tender steak. Maybe not the best, but certainly good enough. Plenty of egg, and a slice of american cheese. It was good. Hash browns. 2 large triangular grated potato wedges. They looked to be double fried, the secret to fast crispy hash browns. All ok there too. Sausage egg and cheese. The final test. The old stand by. The biscuit was just like the first one. The sausage had a good taste, and there was plenty of egg on it. This thing was loaded. The food was solid. I didnt see anything wrong with it. Was it the best... well no. BUT it was acceptable all the way around, and if it's after 10:30am, or a sunday, this is a viable option. No hope for the entrance/exit. If you can get in and out of here the food is ok. read more

Tried this place for the second time as the first trip I wasn't too pleased. We'll their biscuits are still really bad and doughy. Had both bacon and sausage biscuits there and both not good. Too many other biscuit places to choose from and these guys aren't close in taste and quality. I suggest they go back to Lexington or Asheboro and stay. I would rather go to Biscuitville or Herbie' Place. I visited the High Point location and ordered the steak platter. I got my platter with a piece of steak, two over-easy eggs, a biscuit, hashbrowns and a tea. The food was out quickly, but I was underwhelmed by the quality. Wow! Everything was like homemade. Real eggs done right, crispy bacon, and super large fluffy buttermilk pancakes. And can't beat the price!

We stopped by this morning and picked up a couple biscuits - pork chop and crispy chicken. Both of them were delicious! The biscuits were huge and filling. We also got a side of gravy to dip the biscuits and it was great. Nice peppery flavor. We will be back! read more

This place used to be a lot better . Don't really know what happened but it's definitely went down hill . The breakfast used to be something I looked forward to getting and now not so much . I went this afternoon with my husband around 1pm . The pancakes are still good but it's hard mess them unless you burn them . The grits are decent not terrible but not good either . The eggs well the eggs are just plan sad . They are dried out and have no flavor. My husband got a omelette with the same sad eggs and the filling didn't look all that edible. The biscuit he got reminded me of a hockey puck. Oh and forget about putting butter on your biscuit to try to make it better. The biscuit is difficult to cut apart and when you get it apart the butter they supply won't spread whatsoever. Only thing he got worth while to eat was hash browns. So if you are looking for cheap pancakes stop In for those but I don't recommend getting anything else . read more

I am sure the food would be good if I could actually get something to eat. I can advise the hash browns and Pepsi are good. As for the bacon breakfast bowl when you order it without cheese and you get it loaded down with cheese it's not edible. The girl at the window even repeated my order and I confirmed it when I got to pay. When I was given my order it was wrong. Just went by to give them a second chance, went inside this time so there would be no confusion and couldn't even get past the ordering part. I tried to order a cheeseburger meal but the poor girl just couldn't understand no mayo add mustard. No less than 4 times she asked me ok that was no mustard and add mayo correct. I corrected her, she asked another girl who saw what she did and said remove the mustard and add mayo. I said no, add mustard remove the mayo. Clueless. Told the manager they weren't prepared and to train the poor girls better. She just look at me like she was lost and didn't understand. Yes they are new, but provide the store with competent people to help with the opening. Good way to lose customers. I grabbed lunch at the drive thru last week. I had a child with me, so I got a kid's hot dog meal and a pork chop sandwich for myself. My sandwich was good, but the fries were really awful. So bad even the child wouldn't eat them. They tasted like they hadn't changed their shortening since they opened. This place doesn't even deserve one star. My boyfriend and I were so excited to try this place out. This morning we ordered a spicy chicken biscuit, and a smoked sausage biscuit. Both were absolutely terrible. I expected a spicy breading but the chicken was tossed in buffalo sauce and slapped on a biscuit. The chicken was spongy and I could only eat 2 bites. His smoked sausage biscuit was burnt and you could tell they placed the burnt side on the bottom to try and hide it. Overall a terrible experience, would not recommend it. read more

I've had Biscuit King in High Point twice now and was not disappointed! I thought the biscuits were perfectly done... soft and warm, and don't sit in your stomach like a rock like certain fastfood places (the dreaded bo-gut!). I got a sausage biscuit and I thought it was a really great value - $2.12, was delightful and held me over until a late lunch. Meanwhile up the road at Panera you're looking at $7 for breakfast and it's just ok. My only suggestion is a little less heavy-handed on the salt/seasoning on the fries (or offer a plain variety). Overall very pleased Biscuit King has arrived in High Point! read more

Gas stations have better food. I bought a chicken biscuit, took one bite and tossed it.

If I could give it less than one I would. The first visit was for lunch. I ordered a hamburger which was a gray gelatinous horrible tasting burger. I'm not sure what it was made of but it was nasty. I felt bad shortly after eating. I decided that lunch must not be their forte so I decided to try them for breakfast. I ordered a cup of coffee which was weak with not much flavor. I also ordered a sausage biscuit thinking they couldn't screw it up. I was wrong. The biscuit tasted like it had been frozen. It was definitely not freshly made. The sausage patty had no flavor. This is a very honest post. I don't want any food or my money back. I'm happy to never eat there again. I hope they use this information to get better. Good luck. read more

I understand it is a new store. The biggest problem was the customer service. Instead of the cashiers standing behind the cash register (about 4 of them), they should have been stocking the condiments and making sure everything was swept and cleaned. There were probably 4 customers in the restaurant and still waited for my food for 20 mins. The employees seemed to has no desire to make it a great first experience. I saw 3 customers complain about the food the received, I just don't understand how something was messed up when there was no rush. I believe it is over priced as well. read more

I was excited for the opening of this new restaurant but unfortunately it fell short of my expectations. For breakfast I had the sausage platter but nothing had any flavor. The eggs were disgusting and the grits were watery. For lunch I had the BCJ burger combo. I opted for onion rings instead of fries. For some reason I don't think they have a proper process for running the orders as I had to wait and watch others behind me get the orders before me but this wasn't a major problem for me. I was here to try their food. When I received my burger I noticed my burger was squashed. Why press the buns? I opened my burger to find they use cheese sauce for "cheddar". Menu doesn't say sauce but then again it didn't say slice so I guess that's on me for making that assumption. The patty was cooked correct but seems it was cooked a week ago and just reheated. The onion rings were ok. You only get about five rings. Overall I was NOT impressed. Will not be visiting again. read more

My husband and I went to the High Point location for breakfast, and had a wonderful experience! There was a guy named Marcus working the front line and taking orders. His radiant personality was unexplainable! he made sure we got our food right out and he communicated with us by explaining what we were asking questions about. He smiled the entire time and helped his co-worker out on the register. (still smiling) All restaurants and stores should have an employee like him because that makes me want to go back and experience that again. Please let Marcus know we really appreciated the welcoming spirit he had and he should pass that on to the other employees. IT REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE TO CUSTOMERS. read more
