This place has to be a hidden gem in ATL. It doesn't look like much from the outside as it is a literal hole in the wall style restaurant, but the service is quick and the biryani is always perfect. They do not have inside seating options and you order to-go at the door, so it's great for a quick grab & go. A true "hole-in-the-wall" establishment that serves authentic (Halal) Bengali food for a very reasonable price. The shop itself is extremely run down and small with a booth that seats 4, a table that seats 2 and an ordering station equipped with two barstools (I've always taken my food to-go since I'm nearby). The parking lot is on the smaller side as well with a few potholes so watch out! The food, however, is as good as it gets! Everything aside from the samosas are made to order and is comparable to my boyfriend's mom's home cooking. This is one of my go to spot for shawarma and samosa. The food is very flavorful and well seasoned. The location is what I would call a hole in the wall and very small basically a take out spot because there is only about 3 places to sit and eat in. Don't let the looks fool you because everything I have tried there has been amazing. The staff is very friendly and remembers me since I come there so often. I recommend this place to all my foreign friends. I would recommend to order ahead before arriving there to pick up because they are always busy. read more

Give this place chance! Its appearance is off-putting but at least consider getting the food for takeout. It's not a typical Indian restaurant so you will not find favorites like saag paneer or naan but what they have is very good. The rice is deliciously aromatic; watch for whole cloves, cardamom pods and cinnamon bark! Love come gyro wrap and halim soup. Great flavors. I usually stop by to get hookah supplies since they have a large variety. I'm happy that they're building a bigger place next door. I do think they need to improve the layout so it's more spacious since it's a little cluttered. Investing in a better AC system will improve them smell. The smell is not pleasant sometimes since they cut their meats their. Given it's very cheap it doesn't matter since it's an in and out experience. But really, the owners need to still have that Hugh quality and welcoming experience. read more

Small on the inside but food is full of flavor! I had the spaghetti with lamb ... def not ur typical American spaghetti but it was soooo good. This is hands down the best Bangladeshi food in Atlanta! It is a small place but can seat 6-8 people. The owner and his employees are super friendly and nice. Small shack with lots of flavor! I've known about this place for a few years and over time it has grown on me and my friends as the ultimate hidden flavor gem on Buford Hwy. I honestly would've never have thought to stop by and eat here if it wasn't recommended by another yelper. Bismillah Cafe is located next to a Bismillah Super Market off Buford Hwy. It can easily go missed because they don't have a store front sign and it's also the size of a small kitchen, literally. They have enough room to fit about 10 people inside the restaurant comfortably, and seating for about 8 people (including the two high chairs by the cashier). As far as sanitation goes, it doesn't appear to be the cleanest restaurant. They have a small sink station with no soap, and a small bottle of hand sanitizer. The workers are pleasant but not very hospitable. We tried to change our order minutes after having placed our order, but because they had already started preparing it they said it wouldn't be possible. Granted, it is our fault for trying to change our order after having placed it... but I think it would've been an easy change from a gyro to a gyro biryani. Which leads to... We ordered the Beef Samosa, Chicken Tikka Masala and Gyro combo. The Beef Samosa is nice and flaky on the outside; it has a nice crunch. The Chicken Tikka Masala is a red you've never seen any dish before. Although the accompanying sauce was spiced right and good, the chicken was served in huge chunks, but was a bit dry and not very tender. The gyro is your typical run of the mill gyro, nothing too special about it and the fries seemed to be sprinkled with some lemon pepper seasoning? I may be wrong though. Why give this restaurant 4 stars then? Your review seems to be worthy of 2 or 3 at most. The creamy pistachio colored sauce is what made our meal. They have an entire bottle of the stuff, and it goes well with everything! I would come back here just to have that condiment again.
