TLDR: bad customer service, lame pizza. Ordered a cheese steak pizza, for takeout. Specifically asked when I ordered for no mushrooms and no onions, and the girl repeated it back to me. My friend went to pick up our order, they get back and the pizza is sausage, onions, mushrooms and other toppings. So we say fuck it, they gave us the wrong pizza, we'll eat it. Then the girl texts me and asks "are you coming to get your pizza or am I taking it home?" As someone who's worked in one of the best customer service companies in the country (QT) I don't expect most people's customer service to be as good as what I'm used to, but I've never had an experience with someone this ballsy before. The pizza was delicious! It had just the right ratio of sauce to cheese and toppings. Every bite had just the right amount of cheesy goodness. I highly recommend. The wings were good too! If you are a WNY native, here's a spot to get some food from back home!!! The Bills had an amazing season this year, and you will be surrounded by the Bills Mafia if you head here on game day! Downer...parking. Like most of the uptown area it's a premium, and here is no different. We attempted a visit recently and left due to not being able to find parking close enough to trek with our two young kids. Buffalo style pizza with the little pepperonis!!!!, beef on weck, wings with homemade blue cheese...this is the joint! They also offer NY style pizza (that's the thin stuff). Lots of flavors of wings if you're into being fancy! They have a second location in Matthews which is more of a takeout type place- but a lot easier to access. This place has long been on my radar and I've been dying to get in there ever since I tried their wings at the Yelp Wing Fling event last year. Well because of the current health crisis I still haven't been able to go inside but I was happy to have some pizza and wings delivered. First of all their pizza is HEAVY on the cheese. If you are a cheese lover like me this is a good thing. The crust could have been crispier but I don't mind a soft crust on a thick pizza. The hot wings were just as good as I remembered. Misleading website. Ordered pizza online through their website and was given a delivery time. AFTER paying and checking out I was given the option to track my order and only at that point was it made clear that door dash would be delivering the food. I then watched my delivery time increase by 15 to 20 minute increments over the next hour and a half only to get cold pizza two hours after the original promised time. I called and spoke with a manager who basically just said "sorry" and "we have no control over door dash and don't have in house driverS". Fine, I understand short staffing, but that should be made clear upfront if they are using a third-party delivery service and cannot actually estimate a delivery time. read more

Usually I like Bisonte pizza but the last 2 times I've ordered the Bisonte classic pizza the crust was both burnt and soggy. How does that happen? The crust was a lot thinner than normal too. I like a good thin crust pizza, but this was not it. Also it had like no cheese on it either. What is going on? They were so good and now not. I'm gonna start by sharing that I have high expectations for pizza and Bisonte Pizza did a great job! We came in as a group of seven and enjoyed a large pepperoni pizza, two orders of fresh cute fries and a "triple" order of wings with honey mustard and bourbon BBQ. The wings stood out to me. They were cooked perfectly with a bit of a sear on them and the sauce was evenly coated. The blue cheese is made in-house and is quite tasty (I normally don't touch blue cheese but always agree to try if it is homemade!). The ranch was also a nice accompaniment to the wings and I definitely preferred the BBQ style. The cheese on the pizza was ooey-gooey melted perfection, I just wish it came out well-done as ordered. The pepperoni could've been more abundant as well. The crust however was chewy and delicious but not too thick. I'd definitely order again! The fries were fresh cut and steaming hot. A little too greasy for my preference and could've been seasoned more. I'm removing a star for the flaws in execution mentioned above. Yum! I've been to the Matthews location and was super surprised at how different this location compares. You have a hostess and a server at this location. I love the decor. The staff is friendly too! We got a couple slices of pizza and the buffalo hot wings. The hot wings were piping hot and it paired well with the ranch. The slices are so good. We got cheese and pepperoni. For the restaurant on Chestnut, the wings were very good, however the pizzas were so overpriced. They obviously dont believe in transparency, their menu has no prices listed anywhere! So beware.Your stuck when you order them, when they told me how much each pizza was, they didnt want let me order something else. They told me their prices were so high because they only used the "best ingredients". In actuality, thier sausage on the pizza was superb but the pepperoni was very bland and not authentic, tasted like it had been in the freezer for a good amount of time. After seeing all the accolades this location has received and our friends recommending their pizza and wings we had to give them a try. We did take out, I ordered wings and my husband ordered pizza. For my wings I tried the inferno sauce and it was really good. Wings are great and size and not breaded which I am so happy about. My husband had nothing but good things to say about the pizza. Pizza was too greasy and did not taste good at all. Ordered a white pizza and it had onions and Parmesan on it? No mozzarella and ricotta. Very confusing? LOL The Pizza Sub is as advertised. Brought me back to my childhood. The Ham Sub (Oil Only) is also the same as back home. I ordered a large cheese and Pep pizza. The big difference for me was the crust. It was a little softer(doughier) than what I am accustomed to. All the flavors are there. I drove 1 1/2 hours to try it out and wasn't disappointed.
