Entrees at dinner cost $23-32. Bring your own. Make a reservation. Sliced white and brown bread arrived with plenty of butter, we also received bruschetta with our apps. Arugula salad was excellent, fresh greens and great dressing. Definitely a fan of the cauliflower app, perfectly roasted veg and the cream sauce on top was yummy. My frutti de Mare was a big pile of calamari, mussels, shrimps and a couple clams on linguini, good but not quite great. My dining companion's chicken milanese was crispy, topped with arugula and onions, plus they gracefully substituted fries for roasted potatoes, mmmm fresh french fries can't be beat in a pandemic. If you have kids the tables in/on the street are fine cos the little ones can run on the sidewalk without bothering anyone, otherwise ask for a table by the building where the ground is level and the passing cars are not so darn close. Vegetarian rating: 3 stars for the eggplant rollantini and cauliflower apps, salads, the fettuccine primavera and veggie risotto, you can have a proper dinner here just fine. Bistro 46 replaced Fiore in this location. Similar food & similar prices but MUCH nicer people. read more

It was the first time for both of us, we were both so nervous... She wouldn't make eye contact, but deep down I knew she wanted it real bad. My palms were getting sweaty. Would it become the next joke amongst her and her girlfriends? Or would it be too much for her to handle? Only time would tell. Bistro 46 was a huge hit, as well. Friends and I had a 6:00 reservation for dinner last night as we were going to the 8:00 show around the corner at MayoPAC. We arrived at 6:02 and everything after was a disaster. The hostess was all frazzled and kept telling us she would be with us shortly. We finally got seated at 6:15. We reminded the waitress that we were going to the show which she was aware of. After placing our order it took 15 minutes for bread and water to come to the table. We ordered one salad to share as an appetizer as we wanted to really just have our dinners. The salad did not come until 6:50 and at 7:40, nearly an hour later, we were still waiting for our entrees. One friend is a diabetic and expressed his concern as he really needed to eat but his concern fell on deaf ears. We politely asked our waitress and even the hostess when our food was coming. Everyone just kept nodding and avoiding us. Thus, we had to leave at 7:45 to go to the show after never even having dinner. After a very disappointing, to say the least, experience we all just had to buy some chips at the theater to eat for dinner. What a total nightmare! We are understanding people and perhaps if they at least explained the problem we could have come to some sort of a resolution. Took a drive for lunch to meet a former colleague - great location downtown if you're looking to sight-see and enjoy the historical locale. It was a nice but chilly day and we opted to sit outside in the very comfy climate controlled tents. Service was very attentive and all the staff we interacted with were friendly. I went with one of the entre salad specials that had fresh beets along with a crock of french onion soup. If I can offer any advice it would be to make room for french onion soup - theirs was incredible. Thick cut fresh mozz as the cheese topper which I found odd because I'm used to swiss or prov cheese - but the mozz was clearly quite fresh and very tasty. I'm pretty critical of french onion soup but it will now be the reason I make the trek to Morristown again. read more

This place was good not great. My boyfriend and I went in for dinner on a Tuesday night and the place was dead. Service was friendly and fast. Also BYOB. For appetizers we got the empanada and French onion soup (FOS). Both came out quick. I cut the empanada in half and when I took a bite the inside was ice cold but the ends were burning. This means it was made ahead of time and just fired out, which is why it prob came out quickly. The meat inside was good, nothing amazing and would have prob been better if it wasn't the temperature of ice. FOS was typical. For entrees my boyfriend got the shrimp special that night and I got the salmon. His shrimp was amazing and cooked to perfection. My salmon was a bit fishy. The risotto given with both dishes was also very good. It was an okay place. Not dying to return, chef freddys is similar and way better. read more

We came here for dinner on Sunday night after a concert nearby. First off, it's a BYOB and the wine store nearby has a decent selection. The food was super solid... no frills but all the ingredients taste fresh and cooked perfectly. We had mussels, soup of the day, filet mignon and braised beef. Excellent dinner and service provided by Bistro 46. Started with French Onion soup and roasted cauliflower in mascarpone sauce which was delicious. Both had the right amount of seasoning. Main course was Chicken Sorrentino, Chicken Milanese, penne pasta and seafood risotto. Everyone liked their dinners and the portions were great. Their servers are very nice and accommodating. Any place that gives you cookies at the end, automatic winner in my book. Went mid-afternoon on a Saturday and ate outside, no problem. They were very accommodating and attentive. We just ordered appetizers to split which they did for us which was nice. Everything was delicious. We had the empanada, muscles, and eggplant rollitini. It is BYOB so come prepared. I have been there twice and food and service is excellent! I had the Burrata and it was amazing! Fresh and flavor really good. Fiancé had the calamari and loved it as well, for our main entree I had the steak with potatoes and I have to say it was really good. Will be definitely be coming back ! However, I have a huge gripe with this restaurant and frankly many restaurants in Morristown. THE BREAD WAS TERRIBLE! Stale, hard and a disappointment as we sat down for one of our first ventures after COVID. So the bread comes and everyone went for a piece to start the evening. We all just looked at one another and hoped that the rest of the dining experience wasn't going to be as stale as the bread. It wasn't. So we'll give them a pass and try it again. This is an absolutely wonderful restaurant. Nice menu selection, good portion sizes, expertly prepared and high quality food, and outstanding service. Not inexpensive, but good value for the money. We like eating in the heated "bubbles" outside on the sidewalk. Been here may times for lunch and dinner. Never disappointed. The owner/manager Adolpho is super friendly and efficient. Not thrilling....but nice" It's the best way to explain this experience To be fair I've only dined here once and the outdoor setup is quite lovely in the warm summer night The menu looks a bit redundant using mozzarella on so many of the dishes which always makes me suspicious We ordered the Burrata appetizer and a green salad to start Biratnagar was very good. A bit firm but soft inside. Not as " runny" as I like but good flavor. The salad was seasoned nicely but the greens seemed wilted and not crisp. For dinner we had salmon , supposedly wild caught, which I prefer more grilled or broiled to maintain a hot exterior but a warm center. Test it was good. The chicken dish with eggplant and mozzarella was drenched in a very dense brown sauce , it was on top of a fried chicken filet which had a slice of eggplant then mozzarella on top. A very hearty , flavorful dish but I wasn't impressed because it was just too much of a heavy feeling to it. I noticed some pasta dishes at the next table that didn't appear truly Italian , rather over cooked looking and the sauces looks uninviting I didn't feel inclined to order a pasta based on the way it looked. Let down after reading all the great reviews. The only positive was the cute outdoor atmosphere. Downside to the outside was the hoards of mosquitoes devouring you as you attempted to eat. The inside looks like a banquet hall at a nursing home. We ordered the calamari, handmade tortellini dish with shrimp and the filet. The calamari was chewy and not crisp. The Tortellini was overcooked and the shrimp had a very fishy flavor. The filet was Just under and the Green beans lacked flavor. Overall very over priced and definitely not worth it. read more

He was very sweet and gave us great recommendations. Everyone was very attentive and they really appreciate their customers. Everyone loved their food, we got an array of appetizers, entree's, and deserts. The cheesecake and brownie were delicious. The tables were comfortably spaced and covid protocols were strictly enforced, it felt like a very safe environment for anyone who is cautious of indoor dining.
