F6. Fried Natural Chicken with Yuzu Pepper Sauce
    Tiffany S.

Ordered food to go and ate at home. The chicken wasn't worth it, I wish it was better. The spaghetti with crab butter was supposed to be with penne noodles but they did spaghetti. I should've checked the order before I left but I didn't enjoy my experience at the restaurant so I just wanted my food and go home. The crab butter spaghetti though was really good. Like I should've just gotten two ordered of that instead of getting the chicken. I just wish they got the noodles right. Also, I wish there had been more crab meat. You pay about $30 for the dish, you'd expect more than like three small pieces of crab. But like I said, it was actually good. I would probably order it again, if I ever decide to come back. The ambiance wasn't great. The place doesn't look like a place you'd call a bistro with their chicken wire fence and signage. Felt more of a skate park to me when entering and sitting down. I had higher expectations but I had originally came for another reason. I'll see if I give this place another try down the line.

We loved this place the last time we visited. This time I got the uni pasta and an appetizer order of fried lotus root. Delicious on the appetizer! I could eat a whole bowl of these. Service is attentive, ambiance modern. My uni pasta was delicious! Creamy umami flavor. My husband got spaghetti bolognese. This will be one of our go to places for pasta!

This is a very small operation, a small team working a big menu. It is mostly Japanese cuisine in an Italian format of dishes. I got the  squid ink pasta, which was very loaded squid ink in a good way. It was very unctuous and had a great seafood flavor with bits of well-cooked calamari.

We came here after work as a friend recommended since it's fairly hidden. He said it was a Japanese fusion Italian with good drinks. M Bistro Beaux in Torrance is a hidden gem that blends Japanese and Italian flavors beautifully. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively, perfect for a late-night dinner with drinks. Service is attentive, and the menu feels both creative and comforting. A great spot for something different in the South Bay.

Reopened now with pretty much the same menu, except new items on the daily special, such as Oden and Bolognese octopus balls. I think the octopus balls are fried, but nothing wrong with that. I also ordered my favorite sauteed brussel sprouts with balsamic vinegar.

Great new find for me in old town Torrance. Have great top shelf alcohol. They have Whiskey samplers which were great to sit down with a friend for a leisurely conversation. It was a sampler of Ballentine's 12, 17 and 30 year. We had already eaten but wanted something to munch on with the whiskey so we ordered their calamari and fried potatoes in truffle oil. Both hit the spot. Buon Appetito

Did not know this little hidden gem was in old Torrance. Found it on Yelp, went it and was pleasantly surprised. Small and intimate, decor was the most interesting part with gates as little partitions. Forgot to snap photos of all the food we ate except for the first one which was nicely fried calamari, that was served very quickly and hot! The cocktail I had had a unique name and I wish I could recall but it was not too sweet, and all of the food we did order (and none of it is shown, we did a good sampling of a variety of things off the menu) was all served with just the right amount of heat, taste, quality, and attention to detail when serving to make sure it all came out at a good pace as you SHOULD expect. I definitely will be back and will catalog my experience next time with photos as it was truly a memorable time at this one delicious and delightful spot!

Such a variety of delicious eats, great to share with friends! Service is good! Not much for ambiance as it feels just like a restaurant bar. I would highly recommend the pizza with mochi and something else. And the mochi with prosciutto, yum! Must get!

This isn't Halloween decor. sign is flashing like a scene from a horror movie, door is boarded up, inside stench of rotten sewage.

Somebody was celebrating graduations, there was birthdays there was a baseball team overall just a really busy restaurant. Nothing notable about the ambience overall just comfortable place for a very, just like family, friendly Restaurant vibe. I have the burrata caprese and I think it could use more balsamic I mean burrata is burrata so it was fantastic. The tiny tomatoes throw me off a little bit for but like in general everything was delicious.. My friend ordered the lasagna which I was a little bit envious of after I saw it. It's a huge portion and it's absolutely fantastic.. I had the night special, which is chicken piccata, which was overall very lovely buttery lemon and tangy could've used a little bit more pasta, and the broccoli was cooked really well in general lovely. We share the tiramisu for dessert and I really can't complain. I think it could've been a little bit more punchy when it came to the coffee in the rum, but it was still really good. And General service was great. They were really busy so it wasn't anything too frequently and the manager or the owner checked in on the tables and I'm happy that we went here..

UPDATE! We came…read moreback about a month later to celebrate Hubbers' birthday, but the experience wasn't the same. I'm guessing since they're coming to a permanent closure, it only makes sense that the quality of the experience (food and service) had began to going down. We were seated immediately, so we were off to a good start. It took a bit of time for Daniel (yep! We got the same server from the last time) to come around and get our orders. It wasn't too bad since the wait gave us the opp to decide on apps and mains, so we got to put all our orders in at once. CALAMARI: Battered thin and crispy. Dash of lemon juice made it better. Quality? Yes. Quantity? Not so much. I thought it was pricey for the amount we got. PEPPERCORN POLPETTINE: Meatballs in cream sauce. Even with the whole peppercorns, the sauce was good. The meatballs, however, didn't taste or look homemade at all. (I recently made frozen meatball soup at home and the meatball's flavor was pretty much similar.) So.. meh... BRUSCHETTA ALLA CHECCA: This was the best app out of the three. Crostini was perfect and the toppings were all perfectly balanced. SPAGHETTI AI NERO DI SEPPIA: Looked great, but lacked flavor. Asked for fresh grated cheese and added black pepper which helped a little, but still missing something... Hubbers got the linguine pesca mare which he loved (he emptied his plate!) So I guess that says a lot. And I'm really glad he liked it, being his birthday and all. He also chose crème brûlée to finish off his birthday treat. (No, they didn't comp it - which is fine, and I don't expect them - or any business - to, even more since they are shutting down. I understand they need all the profit they can get.) Overall a little less stellar than the first visit. I'll admit I was a teenee bit disappointed since we had an amazing experience the first time. All the same, I'm still glad of the experience and wish them well on their future endeavors!

It's a bit dim lighting, but comfortable seating and booths. This is also probably not a restaurant you bring your kids to. That said, we brought our kids to this restaurant since it was a family birthday celebration . Service: our waiter was attentive, but didn't give us much guidance or introduce himself to our table. I ended up asking him for his name and some guidance and recommendations. Maybe he's just used to a lot of regulars that know what they want to order already? They also took away some plates without asking, before we fully finished them, which I didn't love. Food: the food was pretty darn good! They were pretty flexible and were able to grill some asparagus upon our request. The pesto gnocchi was fantastic! I would say that having fresh cracked pepper on it would make it even better or at least the offering of that. The octopus I got was pretty good, but could have a little bit more flavoring. The margherita pizza was good for the kids and for the adults. Getting a side of truffle oil or olive oil was great for the crust. We got the charcuterie plate, but I wouldn't recommend it. It didn't really seem thought out and looked very minimal. Definitely not impressive. It did the job for my kids since my kids love deli meat and cheese. Fatto a Mano sells pasta and pizza that takes us right back to Italy. If we ever miss that country, then this is the only place we have to go to satisfy any nostalgia. Marco is such an amazing host. He makes everything from scratch and is up front with how long it'll take for him to make your food. We got there right when it opened and the place filled up quickly. But he still made time to ask for our names and check in on us frequently. You can tell the customers love him because so many people came in and talked to him like they had known him for years. We got the carbonara and Estiva. The carbonara was perfect. Just like the way they make it in Italy. Al dente with the sauce perfectly integrated with the noodles. Generous with the ingredients and a flavor explosion with every bite. The Estiva is a pizza with basil pesto, yellow tomato confit, and "fior di latte' mozzarella. All I'll say is that it was delicious and any one who likes pesto needs to try this. Now, why do I wish I left a bigger tip? The delicious food would be enough but it was Marco!
