I can't believe it's taken me this long to find this place and I've lived pretty much around the corner for about 10 years. When you first pull into the driveway, it's in the back of the complex and once we walked in, I was very surprised to see it as big as it was inside because it looks like a hole in the wall from the outside. We arrived at approximately 6:00 pm and we were the only ones in the restaurant but that sure changed quickly as I noticed a lot of the tables had a reserved sign on them and the others that didn't sure filled up quickly. When we walked into the restaurant we were greeted immediately and quickly seated to wherever we would like to sit. The waiter brought us the menu's and asked if we wanted something to drink. We ordered a pitcher of Sapparo to start out with and glanced through the menu but seeing how I I found this restaurant on yelp and went through all the pictures, I knew pretty much what I wanted to order. I ordered the butter crab pasta while the partner ordered the carbonera pasta with extra bacon and my goodness they do not disappoint on there portions. I absolutely loved my crab butter pasta because it was very different from Italian pasta where as this restaurant put I believe it was some seaweed on top of the pasta and it was drenched in this creamy sauce that was magnificent. The partners pasta was also filled with flavor but most importantly they were not cheap with there bacon although we did ask for extra bacon, I would love to see what it looks like without the extra anything. The service was great and the gentleman who served us knew his pasta but doesn't know his wines to go with the pasta but that's ok because I can drink the wines they have and figure it out myself. This is my new go to spot for pasta as I would love to try there whole menu and recommend anyone that is near this place to give it a try and judge for yourself. read more

I love this place! I used to come by every weekend when I lived close by and now I miss it when I'm further away. It's a fabulous bar/restaurant. The food is spectacular and you should try to order off the special daily menu. It changes all the time and there's always something new to try. There's also a classic dish of naan pizza that I love. I love this place. This is def not your average drinking place with mediocre bar food. On our first time here tonight, we had squid ink pasta (5/5), $11 seafood risotto absolutely superb huge portion very reasonably priced (5/5), $5 HH fried chicken (5/5), $3 miso soup (3/5), $11 rice croquette (5/5). Whole dinner was $61+ tips. We are a couple of very happy full people with food Togo for lunch tmr. Service was top notch. (5/5) Definitely will be back again. Nice hidden gem in Torrance. This is not a typical Italian pasta restaurant, they serve Japanese style pasta like Spoon House in Gardena but more high quality. I love their crab butter pasta, clam pasta, fried chicken, uni pasta, and chicken gratin. They are good in flavor and I love the quiet restaurant atmosphere. Customer service was good and friendly. Every time we go back to this place, dishes are always consistent, which is a plus. read more

Well, i was really impressed by the review on Yelp and it was the reason why i got there. But the thing is that it didn't give me any impression actually. I ordered beef steak with soy sauce (with garlic) and Squid ink pasta. Everything was really rich. However, it was really salty. The steak was served with just 5 pieces of beef and salad. The restaurant should have nonified me that it has just only 5 pieces of beef. then i wouldn't order it. It is almost 20 bucks for 5 pieces. Furthermore, It was too dipped into soy garlic sauce. it was the problem too. Beef's quality is incredibly great . However, i couldn't enjoy it very well due to too much salty sauce. Sauce should be on the side. Also, Pasta.. I liked it . But my bf could not eat a lot cuz it was salty. I can hold it in and eat it . But for many people, they would need several cups of water to handle the foods. Summary : Salty. Beef / seafood qualities are good. Every sauce should be on the side and people can control saltiness. Also, server should ask people if everything is okay. (they didn't care cuz it was too bz) The appearance of food is really great but Actual taste is not as delicious as it looks like. My bf and I are wine lovers, and since we both are new to Torrance, we are kinda adventuring different restaurants and bars, and one day, he found this place and made a reservation, so we went here and ended up ordering two bottle of wines :P well, first of all, it's not like fancy pretty wine bar. second of all, this place was pretty empty for a busy dinner hrs.. well I think the foods were delicious, yet the plating......was.. um.. well.. I've never seen this ugly cheese plate.... a woman like me who enjoys taking picture of foods and uploading on instagram, expected such cheese plate, and yeah but I have to say that the taste was good tho. read more

Definitely I want to go back next time I am in LA. The bartender at Miyako Hybrid Hotel recommended us to go, sine the Miyako bar closes at 11pm, which is stupid early in my opinion, but I guess if they were not closing we would not have found this hidden gem within walking distance of the hotel (i.e. can drink til heart is content and walk to hotel!!! Drinks were great went with my boss and we finished off a bottle of red wine which was reasonably priced and a couple of mixed drinks, a small cheese platter which was nice and dessert which was Catarana, seemly a more or less frozen creme brûlée which was awesome. We unfortunately had already eaten before arriving, but the menu which seems to be mostly Japanese based with a little fusion mixed in sounds great. Beaux IMHO is first and foremost a bar that serves food. They have a full bar which for whatever reason, reminds me of a bar/lounge you would find in Japan. Very professional looking tender who makes your drinks with care. Decent wine list, beer on tap, full range of shochu and nihonshu, all the well supply you can handle including some old whiskeys. Very international wide branding. Also, with their drinks, they use the chiseled off block ice instead of party or crushed ice. Just looks better and doesn't melt as fast. Food - Not bad. They are definitely leaning towards the Italian cuisine a lot. A lot of pastas, tomato based dishes, antipasti, etc. There are also Japanese dishes with everything separated rather methodically on the menu. I don't think I've ever ordered the same thing twice except maybe the mentaispa and the fried potatoes, but only because we usually don't order too much food when we go here. It's more of a place to go after dinner and have a night cap and snacks. I like the atmosphere and the staff. Every once in a while, you catch a glimpse of the owner with his signature shaved head, hence the phonetic name of the restaurant (Bozu) All in all, a cool place hang out, have a drink, and be with friends or loved ones. Desperate for a bite at 10pm in a sleepy town (my old hometown), we stumbled upon this super hip bistro which stays open until 1am. The decor is fun with recycled fences as dividers between the dining tables. The throwback jams they pipe through the speakers is also a nice touch. It seems that Japanese Italian food is becoming increasingly popular although I'm sure it's been around for quite some time. I, personally, think it's a fantastic combo. We ordered a few dishes to share. Oysters with ponzu jelly - enormous and delicious. the ponzu jelly as a topping was really well done with the perfect amount of acid and sweetness to complement the tender oysters. Salmon fried rice - i'm a stickler for rice and theirs could use some work. it was slightly mushy and i prefer my rice more al dente. the salmon flavor came through very well tho and was enhanced with the other spices in the dish. the ginger flavor stood out to me and i quite enjoyed that. Uni pasta - the portion was a little bit small but i really enjoyed this dish. it had a ton of uni in it for the size of the dish and it was slightly pan fried which i found very pleasant. the noodles were perfectly al dente. the sauce was really light and allowed the uni to be the star. yum! I'm happy to see that my old hometown still has some great food establishments they can be proud of. I would most certainly dine here again when I return to my old stomping grounds. read more

I love Beaux. So much that I've waited years to write a review. Only because it's already busy as is on some nights and I'd rather keep this a "secret". But I feel generous today so I'd like to share.... The best part of beaux is you can enjoy it as a izakaya (tapas) place, straight up dinner place, or "just came to drink "bar. Izakaya/Tapas: Beaux is a "Western Izakaya" which means they serve non-Japanese food, but sometimes with a Japanese twist. The best way to enjoy Beaux in my opinion is take advantage of their array of small plates. I usually order (for 2-4 people) a small appetizer dish, salad, fried dish, pasta to share for the table and start from there. you can add on items throughout the night, which is really the beauty of a izakaya. Some of my favs: Seafood Salad Popcorn Shrimp Mushroom Scrambled Egg Filet Steak (I prefer the japanese wasabi sauce but garlic is good too) Crab Meat Pasta EVERYTHING on the specials menu. seriously. please order at least one thing off the specials menu. Dinner: I've also used beaux for a quick dinner. (not often since I am always tempted by their wonderful tapas choices and alcohol) Come in earlier like at 6 or 7, order one appetizer to share with my friend, and we each get 1 pasta dish. Keep in mind... if you are expecting a "typical" restaurant where you appetizer comes first and all the entrees for the whole table come at once, go somewhere else. please don't bother the servers and kitchen and ask that all entrees be brought out together. this is a izakaya, food is served as ready. if you don't want to be the only one waiting for your food, get an appetizer. Also, be sure to know the portion you are ordering since most of the dishes (besides the pastas) aren't meant to be a full portion dinner. Bar: Beaux is probably open the latest around this area (when looking at Japanese restaurants) so you can also come in just for a drink or better yet, dessert and drinks! (more about that in the next section). They are one of the few places that have a full-bar at a Japanese restaurants. I usually order beer, wine or shochu, but here I occasionally indulge in a cocktail or two. They also have a good selection of whiskey (Yamazaki!) for whiskey lovers. Desserts: The owner makes the BEST desserts ever. My favrorites are the catalana (a half frozen custardy dessert), coffee jelly (for people who don't like too much sweets) and their weekend only tiramisu. I love Bistro Beaux! I work around the corner and have been meaning to give it a try and struck gold. I started with the daikon sticks with Ume paste and shiso. It was refreshing, crunchy and a little salty. The mentaiko spaghetti with eringi was rich and spicy with just the right amount of saltiness. I wish this place were closer to home since they have a great selection of Japanese whiskey. The location is in a shopping plaza which you would never expect this place to be. There isn't much seating but makes for an intimate experience. The staff was nice and accomodating and the bartender was really tentative. After a few drinks my friends and I tried their boiled sausage, clams, and a bread gratin. All of them were flavorful and nice to snack on while getting my buzz on. I also ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce, which had too much sauce for my liking. The noodles on the other hand were really buttery and delicious. The only thing that did bother me was that they didn't crank up the air conditioner in this heat. All in all it was a exceptional experience. read more

It's next to J Massage -- close to the end of the building. # If you're thinking accordions, nice silverware, comfortable and intimate dining...IT IS NOT Bistro Beaux. This place is confused on if it wants to be a Japanese small plates drinking place or classy fusion restaurant # Right when you open the door, there's a fence. Once you walk in, you can't leave...they force you to sit down and pay up. Just kidding. But why is there a fence! Does that scream classy to you? Does that scream Bistro a la fuckin Beaux? I'll let you decide :) # EDIT 9/16/2015: A yelper pointed out that it wouldn't be right to simply classify Bistro Beaux as your typical "fusion" because this food has existed in Japan for quite a long time. To my surprise, this style of cooking known as "yoshoku" or Japanized Western food, has been around since the Meiji Restoration, not a few decades! Kids in Japan grow up with this stuff like our Americanized pizza so it's completely integrated in the culture. Some yoshoku dishes are quite Japanese while others seem more Western. Maybe fusion isn't the right word though when it first originated in the 1860s the Japanese public probably saw it as fusion. Maybe "adopted" or "modified" are the right words. It's very difficult to classify and would be a job for a food historian haha. I'm not sure what we call our pizza here for that matter...Italian? American? fusion? We know it's definitely Americanized that's for sure. I guess we let the debate ride out. -------------------------------------------------- MY EXPERIENCE: -------------------------------------------------- Bistro Beaux, you sound so fancy, but you are just a la bland. Bistro Beaux is located in the same plaza, but I found it at the very end of the line of businesses. It's next to J Massage. The South Bay has a number of Japanese slash "fill in the blank with an unrelated culture's cuisine" fusion establishments, but from what I'm noticing, I don't think the fusion is hitting the highest marks in taste and satisfaction. I notice this too with Japanese-Peruvian fusion and other fusion experiments. I think Japanese food doesn't go well with oily food cultures because Japanese food is usually the opposite of that! I know...BUT BUT...they have tempura...okonomiyaki...yeah yeah...but that's not the true foundation of Japanese food. The fusion especially here doesn't mix well. For some reason I just thought they were serving Italian seafood here instead of French or Japanese. If I'm confused and they're confused, other reviewers should be confused! But that's not the case. I tried the 2 most popular items there -- the squid ink pasta and prosciutto pizza and both were just okay. The squid ink pasta tasted like pasta + squid ink + squid pieces and the prosciutto pizza tasted like dough + cold cheese + cold, thin meat. So it tasted like the ingredients? Yep. So I got what I paid for right? Yep. What's the issue then? Because they just didn't combine together to give you a new, dynamic dish. The dishes just tasted like what they were and honestly just from looking at the menu, I think those seemed like the best dishes there. Everything else doesn't seem interesting and the other dishes don't look like they have decently sized portions -- I'm asking for decent sized not family style because I know they serve small dishes. The atmosphere tries to be classy, but it's not quite there. I wasn't sure if this supposed to be a late night Japanese shop for overworked salarymen or for upscale French-Japanese fusion dining. It's quiet and it feels like you're just in a large concrete storage room with ordinary tables and chairs. Not sure if it's trying to go for casual or intimate. It's kinda on the fence which by the way THERE IS A FENCE in your face right when you walk in. Nothing is wrong with a fence per se, but it's a little misplaced don't you think? Fuck the reviews. Came here with a party of 15. 1. Tried to order a beer at the bar. Bar tender and manager refused to serve me unless I put the tab to my table. I had cash and they refused, really really odd. 2. We ordered food at 7pm. It is now 8:30pm and still no food. (I'm writing this review while I'm waiting). This is the worst service in the history of restaurants Update: 8;45pm still no food. When the food finally came it, I can't say it was completely worth the wait. It was good. Amazing place! Juxtaposition of Japanese Italian and it's always packed! Try the egg and cheese, spaghetti with meat sauce and daily specials. My very favorite is the squid ink pasta which rivals the squid ink dishes I've eaten in Dubrovnik Croatia. Spaghetti carbonara at an Asian restaurant?!! Damn right. And they do quite an amazing job of it, too. It is perfectly portioned, not eggy or too creamy, with crisp bacon on top and throughout. My fiance ordered the spaghetti with crab butter. It is exactly as indulgent as it sounds. Really good food in an unexpected location. If I am in the area again, I will for sure be back. I only write reviews when I feel strongly about a place, and I definitely feel strongly about the food at Bistro Beaux!! 10 izakaya restaurants in a 1 mile radius and this was the only place I was able to get a reservation the day before New Year's Eve. Service a bit slow because there were only 2 servers, not to mention every table was reserved so this tells you how busy that night was. With 3 other girls, we had what most yelpers suggested among others. Here are my favorites: Beef carpaccio salad: tender slices of raw beef with lettuce and capers drizzled with EVOO and pepper, it's a simple, wonderful tango of textures and complimenting flavors Spaghetti Carbonara: quite possibly the best carbonara I've ever had. it's creamy yet not overly creamy, and it's oh so very tasty! Lots of bacon! Prosciutto Pizza: a CPK sized pizza of mozzarella and tomatoes, but wrapped entirely with prosciutto. I tore off pieces of the basil garnish and it completed the perfect foursome of mozzarella, prosciutto, tomatoes, and basil. Coffee Jelly: coffee flavored jello with a rich vanilla ice cream. I vainly tried to lick up every last morsel despite it being served in a wine glass. And now I've made myself hungry writing this review. read more

I am so happy that I tried this place last night! As usual, nearly all the restaurants around Torrance close early and I could never find anything to eat late at night. But this place closes around 1 am :D I tried their: Calamari - Calamari was fried well. Portion was okay, but the marinara sauce could have been less watery. The sauce also had an added Italian dressing flavor to it. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing. Spaghetti Crab Butter - This dish could do with a bit more crab meat, but other than that, WHAT IS IN THIS PASTA?? I'm so curious. Seriously they must have sprinkled some crack in there because after each bite, I just kept wanting to eat more and more. There is a distinct flavor to it that I couldn't figure out, but it made the pasta taste delicious! Seafood Doria - Could do with more seafood, but I'm not really a seafood fan, so it was perfect for me. It had a thick layer of cheese on top and a creamy, unique, and rich flavor. The dish seems small but don't let it fool you! Halfway through, I was full since the ingredients are heavy and filling. The time they took to cook the food only took about ~20 min, which isn't as bad as what a couple previous reviews wrote. Getting a couple beers/wine could help speed up the waiting process ;) read more

Their pastas are tasty, similar styles to that of Spoonhouse or Akane Chaya in Gardena. I would rate Akane Chaya #1, then Beaux for their pasta dishes. Try their squid ink pasta, VERY good, best squid ink pasta imo. But for all other dishes? Beaux is BOMB. Their Japanese style fried chicken is so good, I can't believe the price but trust me, for being a parsimonious person like myself, I actually pay the price for their appetizers. Their fried chicken is perfectly fried, a little on the greasy side but washes down smoothly with their $1 draft beer specials. Their seared tuna is so good too, probably much better than upscale sushi places. It's a great balance here with comfortable setting (lots of metal accents) but the crowd great, it's basically a bar that serves excellent food. An alright fusion-type izakaya. The place was full when we went so we got a bar seat. Smaller shared plates with some pseudo-italian influences. The food here was decent, many were very heavy with lots of mayo and cream sauces. It goes along with the beer, I guess. The menu was a little small. There was a pasta dish section with a bunch of wafu pasta choices, a little rice section, a grilled section, salad, fried, and app section. I thought that the "Torrance Chips" sounded interesting.. the description on the English menu (no description in the JP menu) said something like "bell pepper, avocado and scallop".. so I thought those were thinly sliced like chips.. but the 'dish' was actually tortilla chips (no mention of these in the description..) and a bowl of the bell peppers, avocado and scallops doused in a mayo dip. Dinner was approaching this Friday night, and my friends were really talking this place up. We all agreed that we wanted something substantial. We craved a supper of courses, different flavors we could all try & taste, and they insisted I couldn't possibly regret it. I was in store for a surprise, truly. This place is a secret worth keeping. It's tucked away in the far corner of a small shopping plaza & does not rely on large signage for traffic advertisement. Walking in there's a quaint, contemporary feel. Surfaces are simple, modern & clean with a full bar & a dash of entrepreneur personality. We were seated by a hostess who was very sweet, who handed each of us our menus personally. We began our venture with drinks. My gal pal & I ordered iced tea, her "beau" ordered a fabulous gin & tonic. It was delicious. Easily in the top three of all the gin & tonics I have ever had. Feeling something a little more flavorful & non-alcoholic, I ordered a Roy Rogers (which the waiter still nailed having never made one before). After browsing the specials we ordered some of the pickled bamboo shoots with carrots & mushrooms, grilled chicken with mustard, and the house caesar salad; to start while we contemplated our main courses. Up first was the bamboo shoots, which were so tasty, we ordered two more helpings. The mustard chicken was grilled but the texture was so soft & tender all I could say was, "mmmm, mmmm...mmmm." It was smothered in this kind of brown Dijon mustard sauce with mushrooms & topped with a bit of arugula. We devoured dish after dish. Before our salad arrived we ordered our main entrees. She got the Japanese style filet, I ordered the carbonara with angel hair, he ordered a spaghetti dish made with ketchup sauce, onions, peppers & sausage: the Napolitan. The caesar was very fresh. Small croutons, with tomatoes & the dressing had a sort of sesame oil flavor that was a refreshing surprise. Here comes dinner! My carbonara was delightful. It was creamy, peppered, and full of crispy, thick cut bacon. Her filet was even better: perfectly cooked and BUTTERY (like filet is supposed to be)! His Napolitan was very good, too: think Chef Boyardee if made by a world class chef...but then put on a plate instead of into a can. We couldn't stop talking about how pleased we each were with our main courses. Really primed for something sweet to finish us off, we closed the evening with the coffee gelatin & crema catalana (frozen creme brulee). The coffee gelatin was decent but the crema catalana was a damn party in my mouth. It was sublime end to a delectable night. The service was what I wanted: courteous, friendly, fast & also...somewhat absent. They were only at the table when they needed to be. Not bugging me mid-bite to ask about the food. They already know the food is great. Duh. They left us to take our time eating & enjoying. Go somewhere else if you want corporate service. This place is fulfilling, simple, & true fusion. Interesting fusion between Japanese and Italian. Food ranges from Japanese sashimi all the way to Squid ink pasta. Took a few coworkers and customers there and everyone seemed to enjoy the food. I've been going to Beaux for awhile now and it never disappoints. The quality of the pasta is delicious and their drinks are fantastic. The bar tender even chips away ice from the square cube to make you a custom make sphere ice ball! I especially love going here since they have good service and good food until 2am. I was introduced to Bistro Beaux a couple years ago. Recently I've revisited that place. It's still the same nice, cool Japanese Bar/Restaurant as always. The lighting is not too bright, you get to choose to eat by the bar or regular table. Food: We had a Squid Ink Spagetti (I think it's the best ever!!), Sea Urchin Scramble Egg, 1/2lb Hamburger Steak (first time having a hamburger steak so juicy that when you cut it the juice splash out~!), marinated beef sashimi salad Drink: I had two glasses of Kirin Draft Beer, then I saw a customer keep ordering an Oolong Tea with Shoju, so I ended up ordered one to try. Fun little nosh spot after work! Found this place by accident when my friends and I were actually trying to go to Musha. It was closed so we walked over to Beaux. Despite the chain link fencing they use as dividers(I get it, they're trying for edgy), the food is pretty good and hits the spot. Here are some tasty menu items to try; Spaghetti with meat sauce: Basic I know but they do their spaghetti dishes well. Ask for parmesan too, theirs is very good. It is literally like sprinkling crack onto your pasta. I couldn't stop. Sundried Tomato pasta: light and tasty. Spinach salad: Vinagrette dressing and bacon pieces over spinach. Tofu scramble egg: comfort food I love it! Wasabi Salmon(special) julienned with wasabi and nori: Good starter with a kick. Calamari: This is a small dish that's good but not amazing. Salmon Fried rice: another comfort dish for me, soo good! Squid Ink pasta: Ok, I saved this one for last. I was really skeptical about this one but it turned out great and not overly salty like I've experienced before. This one is served with a tomato base instead of cream like other places. You can't avoid the black hillbilly teeth look afterwards which is pretty funny. Finish with Catamaran dessert, its like a frozen creme brulee, usually served with melon. Perfect for sharing. Bookmarked this place and finally found the time to check it out today. I am left with one impression, this resto needs to really rethink and deliver a single message or theme. Calling it a bistro insinuates French styling but the decor and the fact that most customers label it Japanese Italian smacks of confusion. The industrial style looks very amateur in execution and again, defies the usual connotation of a typical bistro ambience. It looks more like a garment warehouse and does not add to the dining experience. We had the beef fillet in soy sauce, the fried potatoes in truffle sauce, the spaghetti with creamy crab and seafood, calamari, and the green tea Panna cotta and the coffee jelly for dessert. While the beef fillet cuts were most tender, I feel that the sauce was too much and salty that do not exalt the whole dish, the potato was soggy and cut with no thought for unifomity but you can taste a hint of the truffle. If they were aiming for rustic, then that was what it seemed. Calamari had a good breading coat. The pasta was quite good and very rich. Desserts were pretty good and unique, again, a need to think and edit because the whipped cream topping was bigger than the main dessert. Service is good and very pleasant but I couldn't see the logic in the serving progression. There were two of us but the dishes came one at a time and we ended up sharing each one since we did not have our selected dishes at the same time. Makes one wonder how they fire up an order for a single table. All in all, there is something quite promising with this bistro, there is a need to edit and tighten things. I would come back and sample more since there is a certain uniqueness to their line up. I'd like to think of them as a diamond in the rough, albeit pricey for their range. While nearby Izakaya Musha is for kids, i.e. super-noisy and almost rude service, Beaux is for elder generations who usually work in the neighborhood. Many dishes are creative and flavorful, if not Wolfgang Puckish, with an authentic Japanese touch to them. They have a full bar but their clientele appears mainly to opt for Kirin tap beer by the pitcher, or house wines. (We do.) It is a great place for a quick get-together among your friends, even workplace colleagues. Price is reasonably set and I bet you'll find something you'll like in their extensive array of creations without going broke. "Beaux" is a pun of the Japanese expression for "bald", which has most definitely been derived from the unmistakable appearance of the general manager who will greet you upon arrival. read more

Bullet Point Review 1. Penny wise | pound foolish- charges $1.80 for 3 small pieces bread you normally get free from the most sit down place. Takes 10 min. to get a mediocre bread. DON'T ORDER IT. The waitress led us to believe that the bread was special since they toast it in the oven. Don't let that fool you. The worst piece bread you had to pay for. 2. Service - takes 60 min. to get Squid Ink risotto. Asked why it took so long, she says "I don't know" and walked away without an apology. That pretty much sums up the quality of service. 3. Prepare to go to IN & OUT afterwards since the portion can't be satisfying. 4. Service - nobody speaks English fluently enough to communicate. It is basically for Japanese clients by Japanese restaurant owner. They have no desire to expand beyond their Japanese customers base. Decent place. Decent food. Looks like a cool vibe for drinks. We brought a group in for dinner and the staff were incredibly accommodating. I wish that their menu was a bit more descriptive of each of the meals, but the serving staff and kitchen staff were very quick. The food was ok... but I feel like I made choices quickly because I didn't know what I was ordering. Definitely has potential. Ate here for the first the first time tonight. As mentioned by another reviewer, the block ice used for the "rocks" drinks is a nice touch. The vodka martini(s) were also superbly prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. We ordered calamari, fried cheese (yum), and natural fried chicken. All were tasty.
