Addicted!!!!! I can't say enough how much we LOVE this place! We come to statesboro about 3 weekends out of the month, and Bites has now become an automatic must have! We absolutely CRAVE the French Fries!!! They are cooked to crispy perfection! I personally have never been a hamburger lover until TODAY.... when I tasted a bite of my husband's Texas Burger. AMAZING! It comes with crispy bacon, an onion ring, bbq sauce, lettuce and tomato. Literally I have now become a hamburger fan! My son order the Fried Chicken Tenders with Fries. And as usual.... BUYERS BEWARE: I placed a to-go order with a Bites Deluxe Burger with an extra patty, Texas toast and, cheese fries (roughly $5 worth of additional on a $9 burger). When I got home to eat my food, I realized I got none of my add ons. When I called to ask for service they told me it could not be fixed and they have a policy where food must be checked before leaving for them to honor any mess ups THEY have committed. Let me start off by saying: GET YOUR FOOD TO GO. There isn't a lot of seating inside and you'll probably be swarmed by college kids while you're there. That being said, the food is great! The burgers are nice and big and very filling! The fries are amazing, definitely some of the best I've had. The salads are fresh, full of toppings and well seasoned chicken. And to top it off, the prices are great! The staff are friendly and quick. They let us know how ordering worked since today was our first time trying Bites. All in all, I will definitely be back! This place's food was honestly worth the wait. It was very busy when we went. I suggest that you order to-go and find a nice place outside or at home to eat; it's pretty cramped in there. Get there 45 minutes later, it's not ready yet, okay, no big deal. 15 more minutes pass, they say it's not ready yet, I'm starting to get irritated. I go inside to get it as soon as it's ready. I tell them my name, they say it's just about ready. 15-20 minutes later, they finally bring it out to me. Ridiculous. It's not like I had a crazy order, we ordered a burger, a wrap, and a salad, that's literally it. It took over an hour to get my food and I was in a hurry because I only had so much time for lunch. No one seemed to even care that my food was super late coming out either, they just kept assuring me that it'd be "ready soon." Why even have a carryout option if that's how it's going to be. And then the food wasn't even that good, it was just okay. I totally understand the high reviews because the food is cooked to perfection, flavorful, with large portions. Great food! The Southern Comfort Fries are my favorite but I haven't had anything there that wasn't absolutely delicious!

I would recommend bites for their food BUT their service IS AWFUL!!! The last two times I called in an order, my order was wrong. This last time the lady on the phone had a huge attitude while on the phone taking my order. Before leaving the drive thru I checked my food and so happy I did. Again BOTH of my sandwiches was wrong. When I tried to explain how they were wrong, she acted like she didn't want to get them fixed. If they had better customer service, I would eat here a lot more. Will NOT be back. read more
