Excellent vegan pizza, I had a slice of the meatzza and it was awesome. Super crunchy bottom and fluffy top with a lot of toppings. The slice was on the extra large side. The guy working the register was super nice too, offering to deliver everybody's orders either out to their cars or to the The Swingin' Door pub next door--great attitude. It was decent but overpriced IMO. We had one pizza and 10 wings and it was over $50. The wings were overdone and dried out. If your buying in bulk for a party it does the trick but nothing special. read more

I had such a good experience that I had to make a review. Super hungry, I had to look around for food around 9:50. Found Bizza while I was on my way to 711 and saw the store, so I said, "Why the heck not?" I walk in and ask for 6 garlic parm wings. The person at the register jumped right to it. Not even 2 minutes later, I get my wings. I go to my car to enjoy it so they can close up. My main gripe with most pizza shops is that when you ask for garlic wings, they give you wings smothered in a cream sauce that barely has a trace of garlic in it. These garlic wings were abundant with garlic. Absolutely love it, will come back again. read more

The first time my 7 year old tasted a Bizza pizza, she literally said "This is the best pizza I've ever had my whole entire life!" Now, you might be thinking...what would a 7 year old know? But if you are a parent like me, you'll know that kids are probably the best pizza connoisseurs out there based on the sheer volume of pizzas they consume (think birthday parties, sports or school functions, play dates, etc). We've been to all the pizza places around here and Bizza has found it's way into our weekly rotation. The crust is perfect with a bit of cornmeal and is soft and fluffy. The toppings are generous and the cheese is super melty. Every time we went in, we see the kitchen behind the counter incredibly spotless, shiny and clean. They are always on time and there is designated parking. A couple of counters seats are available if you'd like to polish a slice or two there. A VEGAN menu! Need I say more? It's so wonderful to be able to get vegan pizza by the (HUGE) slice- in most places you have to buy a whole pie. There's several options, and I've been working my way through all of them. Pizza not your thing? No worries! There's calzones, appetizers, subs, falafel sandwiches...all vegan!! There's of course a regular menu too. Seems like most people pick up for takeout, though there is a small sit-down counter with a cool mural of their SF location. Order at the counter or kiosk. The owner and employees were working alongside each other, friendly and welcoming. Parking ample and available on every visit so far. It didn't look like the picture on there website. The meatballs (4) were beige. (maybe turkey meat?) It tasted fine. But not much Mainara sauce. Marinara IMO is just a cheaper version of ideal spaghetti sauce. Marinara is a meatless sauce. In my experience, it can be light, kinda like a reddish stain and flavorless or chunky with pieces of tomatoes. This was the later thank goodness. I prefer my spaghetti sauce more hearty, with meat. But Bizzas Marinara was pretty good in the way of Marinara...there just needs to be more portion. The garlic bread was juicy but not at all crunchy or toasted thoroughly, super soggy & not very garlicky. Parking: you can only get to it from ONE direction, heading east from El Camino. If you pass it good luck making a U-turn. (You'll hafta make a left cross a double yellow line to pull into the parking lot or start all over again from El Camino) They have a small counter to dine-in near register. Otherwise its pretty much take out. The cashier was nice. Lots of noise, chatter coming from the kitchens I probably wouldn't have dined in anyway. They don't serve alcohol. The prices like everywhere else moderate to high. (I don't know why it shows one dollar sign on the main view cuz my ToGo spaghetti was almost $19...kinda deceptive. I've had had spaghetti cheaper & tastier elsewhere. I do admire them for opening a restaurant in these economic times. Finally, weird name, what does it mean? I almost scrolled right past it cuz I didn't think it was legit,lol. Pizza varieties look appealing and they have a 'special' right now $10 two slices & drink. read more

My daughter and I passed by and found this place. The pizza is so yummy. They are so many possibilities with all their suggestions. I appreciate that you can get a slice instead of a whole pizza. It's really a to go place but they have about 3 stools if you really want to eat there. The counter service is very friendly. I will definitely be back. read more

This is the best carry out pizza place that I've eaten at in the bay area. I'm from the East Coast, and most of the peach out here on the West Coast really hasn't hit the mark with me. This one, however, pretty freaking amazing. Got the gyro pizza. It was freaking insane. Tajikistan sauce on it just made it. unreal. Also, got the barbecue chicken pizza. Most time I get barbecue chicken pizza just sucks because there's so much sauce on there that you really can't taste anything else. This also is not too overpowering in the pizza was just flat out. Hands down definitely the best vegan pizza on the peninsula! Tried vegan meatzza and vegan buffalo chicken and both were delicious - clearly top of the line ingredients with lots of variety , perfect crust too. The steak sub was excellent as well. And friendly service :) prices seemed a little expensive at first but with all the toppings and crust it's actually super filling/reasonable - can't wait to go back and try more! read more

Food is always amazing and the vegan options are incredible. We've been coming to the Haight location for a while but when they opened the San Mateo location we knew we had to try it. great local pizza shop! my partner went in and said the staff were friendly. we ordered 4 slices, mozzarella sticks, and bizza fries! everything was sooo good. the pizza slices are HUGE, 4 slices was almost a full pizza. also if you're vegan there's a ton of options, which is so hard to come across with pizza shops! it's located near the san mateo event center and they have a small lot for customers next to the building. would definitely recommend and will probably be our new go to pizza place! read more

Ordered the Meatzza, Tony's supreme, 12 Mozzarella sticks, 2 sides of ranch and 4 deep fried Oreos for pickup. Showed up a little early to speak with the staff. Gentleman I spoke to was friendly and gave me a proper estimate of when my pizzas would be ready. The pizzas themselves were piled with toppings and delicious. 5 stars for the pizzas. I don't use ranch on my pizza but my family does and after their comments I had to try it. Whoever makes the ranch gets 5 stars. . The Ranch and marinara sauce also come in large dipping containers. . Deep fried Oreos were warm and crunchy. 4 stars. The only disappointing thing were the mozzarella sticks. The outside has very little seasoning and didn't taste like much. I dipped them in ranch to make it better. We also got two sticks with very little cheese in them. The other 10 had a normal amount of cheese. 2 stars. Overall, we enjoyed our first experience with this place We will order pizza again from them and try something else besides the mozzarella sticks next time. read more
