The customer service friendly and accommodating. We walked here so parking not an issue, though during peak times, it's busy for street parking. The portions and prices are right. Inside the volume of the TV's and neon green flights can be stimulating for those with sensitive CNS. It's not the most hospitable interior and neither is their salad bar much of one. I have tried Mountain Mike's in the past but it had been a while since I tried it. I was personally disappointed by the flavor of the pizza, including the crust and the toppings. I didn't find it had much flavor although there were a lot of toppings. The bread didn't have much flavor and it's usually one of my favorite parts to enjoy! This is the first time I've ordered from Mountain Mike's in San Mateo. The order taker Sandeep (owner?) was extremely courteous and professional. He suggested the order would be delivered within 45 minutes to an hour, and I said nope I need less than an hour. My order came 35-40 minutes. The food was really good! You can never go wrong with Mountain Mike's. I especially love their honey garlic wings, and the pineapple pizza. Our server Deep, was very sweet and checked in on us and offered us drinks. Whenever I come here, it's for one thing and one thing only. The chicken bacon ranch pizza! A white sauce pizza with chicken and bacon, tomatoes, and onions. It's just a well put together pizza with a great taste profile. The cheese and pepperoni pizzas are just alright. The Mount Everest is their most popular pizza but if it's got olives on it, there's no way I can enjoy it. What keeps me coming back is the CBR pizza. If you are looking for a great deal on pizza on a Tuesday, they've got 40% off all large and specialty pizzas, which is a crazy good deal. Mountain Mike's is pushing customers toward their app, but it's a scam. DO NOT ORDER ON THE APP. Their in store offers are far better (for example, today was 40% off a large pizza, and they are sending mail coupons for 50% off M-Th). I placed an order in their app and realized on pickup that I had vastly overpaid. In store they refused to honor their own deals because I had already checked out in the app. And the food wasn't even right - we ordered a side salad with dressing, because that's what the app had, but in store it didn't come with dressing, and was tasteless. We threw it out. This franchise is just fundamentally dishonest - I didn't order via a third party platform, but used their own app. Won't be returning. Plenty of pizza places and the food is pretty average. The whole experience left a bad taste (pun intended). Tiny portions too. read more

What a good hot day to crave for delicious pizza! We decided to drive over here from San Francisco to Mountain Mike's in San Mateo! :) We love their pizza! We were lucky to get parking around the corner and when we got there..there's this guy cleaning the windows! The other guy which later found out his name was Garden..took our order and was very generous to give us our first time coming @ 20% off our bill! :)) As I look around..the place is very clean wasn't yet busy coz we were the only customers there! The salad bar was very inviting and it was pretty good! Everything in the salad bar was fresh and the lettuce was crispy! Love that they had potatoe salad..macaroni salad and jello! I appreciate that there were packets of different dressings and it wasn't open in a container! I chose the Caesar dressing for my salad and my hubby chose the thousand island dressing! It didn't take too long when our hot delicious pizzas arrived who by the way Sunny brought over to our table! He was very kind to ask us if we needed anything else like ranch dressing for our pizza! Of course.. We would love that! He gave us 2 packets! Garden cane over to chat with us a bit and he was nice and letting us know that they're planning to open a Mountain Mike's in the Daly City area!
