I had to speak to the head check-in associate to get it resolved. Then I had to read, print my name, sign, and date 8 or 9 forms which I understand I will have to do each year. Then the associates who prepared me for the doctor did not seem to be as qualified as the previous ones. I did see the doctor but only an hour late. Fortunately, the doctors are still outstanding. The associate who stayed past 5 o'clock to help me at checkout and schedule my next appointment was a bright spot. She called me back the next day with the appointment information. Even the information sheet that I was given on how to access my account on the new system was bogus. And the software for submitting a review does not work. Previously RaleighOp was a 5 star plus.

The issue was waiting for the doctor which she didn't see until 11:40am which is an excessive waiting time and unacceptable. Not sure what is happening in the clinic area but whomever is scheduling needs to be more accurate and considerate of the patient's time and toll it takes on them as most are in their 70s or older. However, Dr. Denny advised that he reviewed her chart and due to her history and age he didn't think it was necessary for him to see her due to the "Covid risk" to other patients. He was sure that her floaters should go away after a few days..... The last time she had floaters for 1 day it was a detached retina, BUT ACCORDING TO HER CHART SHE WAS FINE. It is disappointing that Covid has made providers afraid to take care of people. I wonder how Dr. Denny would feel if this was his daughter? I pray he is right and she is fine! All of the staff was super helpful, the location was nice and Dr. Denny couldn't have been better. Explained everything and made it as comfortable as possible. I hope I won't need to have this done again but if I have anything eye related come up I will go back there for sure!
