More than enough parking was available. Cool vibes. They had sports games on all of the TVs. Was able to sit at a booth in the bar area. Great service from our waitress. She was really nice and attentive at her best with being busy with other tables. The Crispy Calamari was really good. Was the main reason for our visit last night lol. It also came out fast. Ordered it soon as we sat down. Spinach and artichoke dip was good too. I ordered 2 orders of the sliders. Both orders were exceptional. I could've swore the last time I ordered sliders from BJ's it was only 3 burgers lol. These came with 4. Get enough from the 1st round so I had to order another. Forgot to take pics of the sliders tho.

Had to try the s'mores pazookie was so delicious!

Came in and got sat right away I love that so much. Our server was Ashley and was super fast and efficient and made us feel welcomed. Along with their staff delivering and picking up was a very nice touch. Would most definitely be returning! Loved the open space. Food came out so perfect.

BJ's is becoming my new favorite restaurant to dine in. They have a huge selection of food to choose from and I like sitting at the bar and they have a huge beer and mixed drinks selection as well. I like sitting at the bar because the service is way faster than sitting at a table. The bartenders usually take care of you quick so every time my beer is almost done they ask me and fill me up quick.

Stopped by last weekend . Was seated quickly. Our server was Chelsea she was nice, attentive and helped with our requests. The food came out fairly quick and it was delicious. It was nice and fresh inside with music and games on the tv. We had a good time. By the time we left the place was full and people waiting to be seated.

Stopped by for my fiancée's birthday with her parents and loved it per usual. I've been coming to this BJ's location since years and it's always consistent. Servers are great. Parking is great. Food is great. Love of TVs to watch good sports and our specific server this day was kind enough to even offer to take a pic of our table! Only strange thing was why was the scientology channel on tv? lol Can't wait to come back and get more pizookies!

Took about 15mins to bring just waters and no alcohol drinks... Short staffed but the servers that were there seemed to just like to hangout by the bar standing around or chit chatting and not taking care of the tables. Definitely not coming back here unless they have plenty servers to take care of the customers.

Written: Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're looking out for a well rounded dining experience. Customer service is great, workers are very nice and always looking where they can be helpful. Food is great and ambiance isn't half bad, just the California air that messes the joint up a bit. Just about everyone cleared their plates, and we had a big group! Number rating: Food: 8/10 Customer service: 9.5/10 Ambiance: 7/10 Overall: 8.5-9/10

Excellent Service!!! 15 Minute Wait Time!!! Almost all the time!!! Food was excellent & service was above average! The waiters checked in at least twice times within our visit. We were also greeted by the manager as they made their rounds, very polite & friendly. We had gone to the Cerritos BJs but they had a wait time of over 90 minutes, then I called Downey and they had no wait time. We walked in and were sat down in less than 15 minutes. Restaurant was full but they were on point which made the restaurant run very smooth.

I love BJ's is because Monday through Friday. They have a deal where I can get a burger with any side as a lettuce wrap or with gluten-free bread. I also get a gluten-free Pazooki with vanilla ice cream for $13. The burger had perfect flavor and wasn't too salty! I always add buffalo wings sauce with ranch, which makes it delicious! The Pazooki is gluten-free, but it does not taste gluten-free! It's the best gluten-free chocolate chip warm cookie I have ever had! If you are sensitive to salt like me they accommodate, and don't add salt to the burger. My waitress Laura was very sweet and patient with me. The ambience is really chill so you could go with a friend or even a date!

I honestly don't know why this restaurant was chosen for us to eat at. From the moment we walked in, the experience was disappointing. The girl at the front desk had a very rude attitude and acted as if customers were bothering her. Every time someone walked in, she would roll her eyes and seem annoyed to even do her job. Customer service sets the tone for a restaurant, and unfortunately this was not welcoming at all. There was also another lady next to her, possibly a manager, and instead of staying professional they were openly talking badly about situations while customers were around. It just created an uncomfortable environment overall. As for the food, it was just okay. We waited about an hour for our meals, and when the food finally came out, it was cold and had to be taken back. Between the poor service, long wait, and cold food, the experience was not worth it. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back.

I went here for lunch with my wife. As usual, this place was packed, but we were lucky enough to get a booth in the bar area. The waitress was overwhelmed with tables, but managed to get us our menus and drinks. Before ordering our food, we saw another couple across from us receive theirs, and it looked really good. The woman had ordered the Strawberry Fields Chicken Salad, and the man had ordered the All-American Smash Burger with fries. Both of these items were on their $13 lunch special. The salad had a large amount of chicken and looked amazing. When the waitress asked for our orders, we told her that we would like the exact same thing as they had. Our orders arrived, and for some reason, my salad had half as much chicken as the woman across from us and looked more like a side salad. I asked the waitress why my salad seemed to have much less chicken than the woman's, and she did have an answer. Moments later, the restaurant manager showed up at our table and asked if everything was fine. I addressed the lack of chicken on my salad, and the manager agreed and had the chef cook an extra chicken breast for my salad. I really appreciated the manager recognizing the mishap with my salad and ordering the extra chicken at no charge. Overall, our experience was good. The waitress was very attentive, the food was good, and the manager was very attentive to her customers. I would recommend this restaurant.

Leslie was super great and attentive. She really took care of my friends and I. It was a busy Friday night and she was patient with us as we were ordering. my friends and I weren't planning on staying long but Leslie made us stay longer as she kept suggesting other drinks & food items. food was good and drinks were amazing! Thank you Leslie!! (: we'll be back!

But I've learned that if I order my steaks rare or even blue rare at a place not known for their steaks, it comes out to the desired medium rare I wanted all along. Such was the case tonight. I asked for rare but it came out closer to medium rare--maybe even dipping into medium. No big whoop. The baseball steak was still juicy and delicious. The fries were still great shoestring. And I can live with a chimichurri sauce instead of the preferable hollandaise or bearnaise these usually come with. I just wish I could actually ask for a medium rare and get medium at a food joint other than where it costs me $60 or $70 a cut. The service was good. She was pleasant and quick on her feet. The ambience was good. It was a quaint space and had a lot of charm. I can't say it was too full but I attribute that more to the day being full of sporting events like the World Cup and some silly NBA thing than an actually critique of the restaurant. Subsequently, I found this a good place for dinner but not superb and I found myself wondering when the next like fate might bring me here.

Words to describe the cuisine would be sophisticated and elevated BBQ with Romanian fusion. Very flavorful and filling! LOCATION: It is located in the food court at Stonewood Mall. HOURS: They serve lunch and dinner. 10:00am-8pm SERVICE: We were greeted with a warm smile by Lori. I have never tasted Romanian food before, so I was excited to learn about their menu. She recommended several items for us to choose from. MENU We ordered the 3 MEAT COMBO PLATTER: You can select different meats. We chose: pork belly, sausage, and ribs, with corn and french fries. Wow! Every bite was delicious! I loved the seasonings! Salty goodness from the pork belly, the Romanian sleeveless sausage, "Mici" made from beef and pork was perfectly seasoned and paired well with mustard, and the ribs were tender and fell right off the bones. None of the meats were tough and were very scrumptious! :) ------ BRISKET SANDWICH -Delicious! The brisket was very tasty and was definitely the star of the sandwich! The bread, cheese, and the veggies that accompanied the brisket was the perfect ratio. I could taste each element in every bite! Other dishes we ate: PASTRAMI SANDWICH: Fun fact, Pastrami originated from Romania! Pastrami comes from the word pastramă which means to preserve. So of course their pastrami was top notch! BURNT ENDS TRITIP SIDES: For the sides they were all yummy. Sides they serve include frenchfries, vegetables, macaroni, mashed potatoes, and corn. My personal favorite was the mashed potatoes! They were whipped to perfection and creamy. I enjoyed the meal with my friends! I liked the presentations of each dish. The generous portions, fresh ingredients, and the garnishes on top of the foods made it look very special. We had to give accolades to the cook, Manny who made each dish. ***All in all I had a great experience dining at Pitmasters' Society BBQ Grill! If you are a meat and potatoes person, THIS IS THE PLACE! Their specialty is their grilled and smoked meats. It is great bbq packed with unique flavors inspired by Romania. Everything is fresh and appetizing! Poftă bună! :)

The chilaquiles verde was savory and tangy. It wasn't soggy at all and definitely one of my favorite dishes. The short rib omelette was savory but didn't give me any wow factor compared to the other dishes I ordered. The tropical pancakes were so pretty. I only tried a piece of it without the syrup which I think was a mistake because the kumquat syrup was my friend's favorite. I definitely need to try it again with the syrup. Best for last, mango curd French toast was my favorite! I fell in love with sweetness and tanginess of the mango curd. The French toast was soft and you can taste the butter. I wish it was a main menu item. I'll definitely be sad to see it go. They have lots of seating inside and outside.

I was curious about the level of accessibility and clearer directions on where to stand when the line passes the framing of the restaurant. But Great Downey location! Diversity score 1-5: 1.5 As a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace professional, in order to garner financial success of any business is to be intentional about representation in your business. In an effort to reach a larger marketplace, your staffing is the first step towards reaching financial goals and attracting more business. Diversity is not just about color but it also includes accessibility for the handicapped community, Braille menus, and possibly more signage that displays the type of service a customer can expect. Please contact me for consultation services. Service/Ambiance/Environment: The service is where my issue lies. I did appreciate that as we were waiting in line to enter, we were given menus to assist in deciding what we wanted before we reached the inside. The cashiers were both super nice and even offered a taste of the Rose' slushy which was phenomenal. When ordering at the register, the sweet service was continued and we chose where to sit. It was bright and busy inside and we sat right in front of the expo station. I was truly enjoying the environment and it had me reminiscing of my brunch days in New York City. My guest and I were chatting and enjoying our Mimosa's and then my guests food arrives first. Not that it matters but in service certain things do and the female presenting person SHOULD always receive their food first. That was a surprise to me but I didn't read into as I expected my dish to arrive right behind. It did not. My guest and I continued to chat and sip until 20 mins later, as I'm watching dishes leave the expo station, did I say "where is my food?" The young server at the expo turned and rolled their eyes and then finally gave me my food. This was a buzz kill. I only went down a rabbit hole about it until I noticed I was the only Black person present. First, why would it ever been ok to not have dishes arriving to tables separately without saying "ma'am we're a little behind.." or to my guest "do you mind if we hold your dish a bit so we can make sure the food arrives together?" Being a previous server in high pace restaurants, communication, apologies, and ensuring perfect service is the goal. Poached is not a store front or even a little diner type of place. It's a casual, upbeat, bright breakfast/brunch spot. And yes, on busy days things happen but to not offer a reason, or apology, and giving the customer attitude is unacceptable. Food: The description of the food is well written. The prices are reasonable. I ordered the short rib omelette with whole grain toast and house potatoes. When I Finally received my food it looked great and I was eager to dig in. A first bite of the omelette I was sadly underwhelmed. The seasoning left much to be desired and it seamed to be more of a birria short rib flavor and I thought I chose the dish based on being excited about the combination of meat and cheese (which was barely there). I enjoyed the bread and potatoes more than the omelette. Go again score 1-5: 2 I really think this restaurant and it's operation needs some massaging, the cooks need to be trained, and a REAL chef needs to help improve the quality and taste of the food.
