BJ's is our go to place and we always sit at the comfortable bar. Their bartenders are friendly and service oriented no matter who is there. Food is consistent and generally good but we know to stay away from certain dishes like their tri tip (it is NOT tri tip and it's tough) and the avocado egg rolls (gross). We love their chili - oh wait - they discontinued that but not the nasty avocado eggrolls?!!) Any chicken dish is fantastic and we love their wedge salad, burgers, and ribs. The food here was consistent, similar to the Tyson's location, nothing special for American food. The star of the show was their huge pizookie. It was warm, sweet, and made with love. The caramel cookie is the best, has the hard crust and gooey soft center that makes it the perfect combination. We had a group get together at this location on a Thursday 4-7 PM. The staff set up one whole section for us and we had a dedicated server for our group. They had no issues running separate tabs even though we planned over 30 attendees. Service was excellent. Their house brand beers were very good, and there were a lot of different food items , and everyone had positive comments on the food, I enjoyed an order of chicken wings early and ordered their loaded nachos to share later. This was my second time visiting BJs and I was not satisfied with the service. The food was on point but the customer service was lackluster. My waiter( Jonathan.) was bland and not hospitable. Never asked to refill drinks and when the bill came he forgot to put in the happy hour discounts. When he came back with the updated check he just dropped it on the table and kept walking no have a good evening or anything. I still tipped because it's in my nature but as a black man we get stigmatize for not tipping but receive lackluster customer service. Mozzarella sticks to start, kid's spaghetti with a garlic roll, fruit, and strawberry lemonade (they brought the rolls and a small fruit cup as a complimentary appetizer to start, then they chose fruit as their side item). Kids meals were $6.95 each and included a side item, and a drink of choice (including juice, lemonade, soda or milk). I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries, and an unsweetened iced tea. My husband ordered a BJ's handcrafted root beer. Hubby and I split the mozzarella sticks, burger, and fries. Kids came home with plenty of leftover spaghetti for a second meal. Service was great! BJ's is a good place to check out if you are staying at the hotels in this area and needed something a la "Americana Grill" to have for dinner. The inside of the place has a nice feel to it, with nice lighting and a cool bar that sits above the restaurant seating. I think it's worth noting that the reviews of this place, particularly when it comes to service, are extremely accurate and I had the same experience. My husband and I came here on a Tuesday night - not particularly a night I think is very exciting or busy for any restaurant, especially in this area. BJ's was pretty much dead. Despite only three tables filled in such a big restaurant area and just a couple people at the bar, we were still asked to wait 10-15 minutes. I'm a little stumped as to why we couldn't just be seated and waited for the servers to be ready, but I imagine the hostess just goes by the computer count instead of actually reading the room in terms of server availability.... That is, until we were greeted by two servers, one in training. They were both very friendly and quickly took our order for drinks. I wanted some time to check out the menu and it was a good thing it was my first time there and I took a while to figure out what I wanted, since they disappeared and didn't come back for quite some time. My soda was flat, but the wings were good when we finally got our food which again, took pretty long. I think the waiting to seat problem was revealed pretty quickly in that the kitchen was likely understaffed. The food was not anything to write home about, but I have a pretty high standard for wings having moved from Buffalo. They were sauced alright for boneless wings, but I was given ranch instead of bleu cheese despite asking for bleu cheese. That's not the end of the world, but it definitely was not as good and a bummer when the waitress is nowhere to be found after the food was given to get a bleu cheese instead. My husband's burger (The Brewhouse Burger) was good, but not rave-worthy. The food could be described as adequate - not great, but not bad. It's what I'd say is a step above applebee's or chili's, especially for a family. Would I come here again? Maybe, but only in a pinch, as there are much better options in the area, and only if I wanted to wait a pretty long time to be seated and then to get my food. read more

My wife and I love going to BJ's restaurant for a date night. This past visit we ended up needing help with a Super Bowl order that we couldn't get to go through. The Manager sat with us and helped us with all the patience in the world. We ended up having dinner and leaving and trying to place the order a few times over the next day but the payment system wasn't working. One email to the Manager and wow! Service: Our server was Mike and he was outstanding! From the positive upbeat attitude to the drink and food recommendations, he was great and made our visit amazing! Very attentive, hospitable, and the level of service he provided went above and beyond, to include keeping our kids in check with drinks and food. Food: Mike made several great recommendations, all hit the spot and were well prepared. I had the fish and chips which I really enjoyed. He also recommended the Blonde beer, which went well with the meal. Overall, I can highly recommend. We just left the restaurant, in fact I am sitting in the parking lot writing this up. My husband and I worked in the industry for years. I feel like a Karen for writing this but this is the worst experience I have ever had dining. We had Yvonne as our server who visited our table a total of 3 times. She was pleasant but almost avoidant. We ordered a cream soda, water, boneless wings, fries, spinach dip, and potstickers. We received an orange soda(wrong), water, bone IN wings(wrong), watery spinach dip with 75% crunched up chips, (and by crunched up I mean fingernail sized) fries, and potstickers. I asked the food runner for blue cheese and received additional ranch. We ate it anyways and tipped 20% because I just don't have the heart. This use to be one of our favorite spots.....really sad. They're large enough to share among 4 or so people, but I personally wouldn't be able to eat more than one or two pieces because it is jam packed with avocado! I had the BJ's Hefeweizen, which I'd recommend. For my entree, I went with the spicy peanut chicken and soba noodle dish. It was meh; a large portion, and lots of great ingredients, but the sauce was salty and overwhelmed me a little bit. I'd definitely try something else if I come back! Another thing to add- the bathroom was FREEZING. I am not someone who gets cold easily, but I was shivering when I was in there. You don't attempt to salvage the same food you screwed up, and then still dump the sauce in instead of separating it when you serve the bland food with every bit of seasoning removed in the salvage attempt. I love BJ's Brewhouse! They have a little bit of everything here but we never skip their delicious deep-dish pizzas: they remind me a lot of the Pizza Hut pan pizzas that I've always loved. I appreciate how they let you do 1/2 and 1/2, and in terms of size, an 11" is perfect for 2! We also like their Loaded Nachos: you could feed a whole family with these, as they are served inside the large pizza pan and seem to be never-ending. They are simple and so delicious (but I have seen them come out burnt on a few occasions). For drinks, I love the flights they offer: the margarita flight is a staple on the menu but I really enjoy the mojito flight. Like the flight options for the drinks that allow you to try a bit of everything, they offer something similar for dessert: the pizookie trio, perfect for the indecisive like me who want to try a few different things. My favorite pizookies are definitely the Strawberry Shortcake and Monkey Bread! I'm usually not one to visit chain restaurants, but BJ's is one I'll happily be a regular at! read more

This restaurant has always been very good.. however last time we were there first after we ordered the French Fries arrived .. they were hot and good.. we were completely finished them when our Boneless chicken root beer nuggets arrived.. the menu said 1lb of root beer coated nuggets.. they are always delicious... however when ours arrived we got about 6- maybe 7 nuggets .. when I asked our waitress she said that's the order!!!
