I'm giving 2 stars because I like BJ'S as a chain. The service was ok. Waitress brought food and asked if I needed anything else, I said just the ranch that I originally asked for. About 8 minutes later she walked by and said oops , I forgot your ranch, I'll be right back. Thats not why it is 2 stars. I picked off the picture on the menu. We went in because we had a gift card and walked away very full and happy with our experience! The menu was a bit overwhelming and it was disappointing that you could only get the happy hour deals at the bar but our waiter and tasty food made up for those bumps. Dalton, our waiter, took great care of us and went above and beyond, even steering me clear of an item he didn't think I'd like once I got it. My husband and I split the southern comfort chicken sandwich and it was tasty and filling. The fries were also wonderful with a great crispness. We split a wedge salad that was fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend the strawberry lemonade (thanks again Dalton for that rec). We were too full for our pazookie so Dalton said he would get to go for us and it was wonderful once we ate it later that night! We got the cookies and creme, so sweet and satisfying. read more

No wait, and immediate service. The server was great, no problems at all. The chips for our queso were stale, but they quickly brought us more that were also stale. Not the server's fault - he was confused himself and graciously took it off our ticket. We instead ordered another appetizer. Okay those avocado eggrolls were so good. My friends didn't love them but I really did. Also, I didn't get a picture of the sriracha Brussels appetizer but if you get a chance to, you must try them! They are so tasty, I wanted to eat them as a meal. Chopped salads are my favorite also, this one was so big I couldn't hardly eat it. Used to be our spot back in college! There's a wide selection of food here so I'm sure you'll find something. I always get the Balsamic Chicken and it's never failed me! The crispy onions on the top add the perfect flavor combo for this chicken. It was my bf's first time here and he tried the Enlightened Spicy Peanut Chicken With Soba Noodles which was also really good. I think it's a newer item but it was a solid choice. We couldn't leave without having a pizookie! Sometimes we used to just come here for dessert only lol I had the Salted Caramel Pizookie and he had the White Macadamia Pizookie. That salted caramel one is sooo delicious! His was good too and I've had the red velvet as well as the regular chocolate chip one. They're all good! read more

I think this is our 4th? BJ's location to visit? And once again...AMAZING! Their food never disappoints! GF pizza, wings and soup/salad combo for lunch. We were all stuffed! Food: We ordered the enlightened cauliflower & quinoa power bowl with shrimp (with Cajun seasoning) with a side of asparagus, traditional bone in wings (1/2 Buffalo extra hot mixed with lemon pepper and 1/2 bacon jam), and calamari. Wings while not the largest wings were juicy and the flavor combination played well off each other. Bowl was very flavorful and very filling. The combo of the Cajun with the guac and yogurt in the dish was very complimentary. Calamari is good and crispy!! Service: Sat at the bar, service was excellent and friendly. When the manager tells you, "we've just become too big to prioritize customer service"...... Yikes! Next time you're considering which restaurant you want to enjoy yourself and a great meal at, do yourself a favor and go anywhere but BJ's! Before arriving I wanted to make a reservation however, several attempts only yielded a very unhelpful automated maze. Tried using the app as well which only redirected me to "confirm with hostess" but how am I supposed to do this when I can't reach a human being on the phone? My family & I (party of 5) arrived around 7pm and were almost immediately seated. Our waitress was Debra, and she was so sweet! No complaints. This horrendous experience had nothing to do with her or her service. Steve the "manager" ruined my brothers birthday dinner all by himself! My father ended up flagging Steve down to inquire about the complete lack of any customer service and ability to reach a human being prior to arriving. NOTE: My father is an incredibly easy going and lighthearted individual. His demeanor towards Steve was friendly and genuinely curious. Not whiny or confrontational whatsoever. Our entire table was taken aback hearing what then came out of the manager, Steve's, mouth. Immediately he seemed almost defensive. Completely disrespectful and dismissive, & was not helpful AT ALL. Dear Steve's Superior, An establishment that demonstrates such poor customer service and total lack of professionalism is not a successful one. read more

I'm a little late on my review of this place but I have to say this place serves the worst pizza and side salad I've ever had. The customer service was great and my waiter was so sweet but my meal was awful. The other entrees are probably good but I would never get the deep dish pizza ever again. If I ever go back it will probably be for the drinks not food. read more

Me and my husband visited late Saturday night. The hostess had a smile which was great. Our server was Jason. He was thorough, attentive, and personable. He helped us with our choices. Both of these interactions made the restaurant atmosphere inviting. I've been to other BJ's were I did not feel comfortable. I liked that he stayed him and let us be us even though we are obviously different. His rapport work was on point! This is a skill and he has it. We appreciated that. They were organized and efficient. The drinks were on point 10/10 the food was average 6/10. Overall great night thanks to great service. read more

I came here because of their great happy hour and because I heard there was prime rib on the weekends. So I'll start with the positives: the prime rib was tender and so juicy. It was perfectly cooked and came with two sides, a salad and a pizookie of your choice all for $29. A huge steal and worth the money. My red velvet pizookie was so good I hated that I offered some to my guest lol I didn't want to share but I did. I'll return for me own. The happy hour margarita was so good, used fresh mix, was strong and only $6. Now for the reason I took off two stars...the service. My guest wanted to sit on the patio...please don't make that mistake. We were forgotten about and went 15 minutes without any check ins. When I say that absolutely nothing was good. The food was extremely bland. The steak was mushy. Never seen that before. The customer service was decent, hence the reason I at least am rating it with one star but I will say I would prefer not to give them a star at all. read more

We went early today, Monday, because they have large and brewhouse pizzas for half price. We had tried their deep dish pizza a couple of months ago. We both watch our carbohydrates so it was a bit over the top. All in all not a bad pizza but lots of bread/crust. Today we tried a brewhouse pizza with green olives and mushrooms. The thin crust was soggy and even though from the bottom, it looked done, it was doughy tasting. It had a bit more sauce than I would expect on a super thin crust pizza. Cheese tasted good and had excellent texture, unfortunately the cheese could make this a good pizza. If you want a thin pizza, try Cici's. Costs a bit more than the half price deal at BJ's but more appetizing than here. Service was excellent, hence the 2 stars. The food really was uninspiring. read more

I was out shopping at Nordstrom, Northeast Mall and my friend and I needed dinner. Thank goodness we noticed the BJ's right by the mall. We went right in and got a table without a wait on Saturday night. My friend couldn't decide on which wine she wanted so the waiter brought her 3 different ones to try, it was really thoughtful how much he went out of his way to help her pick. We started with the avocado egg rolls. It was a pretty good size portion that came out but they were just okay. Not much flavor. I couldn't decide which pizza I wanted and the waiter informed me that with the size small as larger you could get two different types. So I got the BJ's special on one side and the pepperoni on the other. The small was plenty big enough for one person plus I had leftovers. My got the grilled cheese and fries and love it. Excellent service and food once again from the Hurst location. They seem to have their compliance to the new COVID rules figured out. The bar counter is closed but tables have been arranged or blocked off to meet the new guidelines. They were moving people in and out without a wait.
