Decided to visit Saturday night for a birthday dinner for my daughter. Only six of us and surprisingly the place wasn't busy. We checked in with the hostess and were asked to check in and the wait time would be fifteen minutes, with plenty of open tables. Now looking back that should have been my first warning sign. Either way we checked in and I immediately got a message confirming that there was no wait time, sat around for about ten minutes and we were shown to our table. This is where the fun started. We placed our orders for drinks and appetizers. Server was "there" but not really. I'm assuming she was having an off day. Drinks and appetizers were good and we placed our main orders. I had also requested for a Tipsy Snowman for my daughter who had just turned 18 and wanted to try it, but since BJ's is a California owned company apparently that is not allowed, based on what the server explained. When most of our food came the server was no where to be found, we waited for at least 20 minutes and we were still missing a meal for one person, a couple of sides and most of our drinks were empty. When she made the time to come to our table the first thing she asked seeing that most of our food, cold at this point, was just there not eaten since we were still waiting for the rest. She asked if we needed to go boxes. By this point I just didn't even feel like eating, asked about the rest of our food and she just went to the back. Manager came 5 minutes later and apologized and offered a discount which I told him I didn't want a discount or a free meal as I stuck my finger in a cold loaded baked potato and would much rather pay for the meal and not leave a tip. The server finally brought us drinks and I asked about the rest of our sides. She just seemed bothered and when she went back to the kitchen I could just hear her yelling so I figured better not to push the issue or she would snap so I just asked for boxes so we could leave. Amyna is a wonderful server. My parents come to this location specifically and I see why they request her everytime. She pays a lot of attention to detail. She truly cares about the clients she serves and is very knowledgeable of the menu and remembers preferences. The California chicken sandwich was delicious and the fact that I could swap a Chowder for the fries made my day. The manager even helped with pre busing the table to allow for space. The location in Ft worth was awful and this revived my love for BJ's. The cookies and cream pizookie with chocolate ice cream is the way to go for a sweet yet chilling dessert during this warm Texas heat. read more

I love the Pizookie meal deal! I had never been to a BJ's until we saw a commercial a while back and my husband was shocked at this fact so we made our way to one, and since then, it's been my favorite fast casual restaurant. Attaching photos from our various visits! I was really really craving a Pizookie after my restrictive diet for the past 9 weeks or so with my gestational diabetes diagnosis, so we decided to have a cheat meal for my mental health last night. Normally the chicken parm is my go to, but I looked at the nutrition facts for all of the options and decided to get the strawberry salad, which only has 19g of carbs. It's true I kind of wished I had the chicken parm since it was a cheat meal and all but the salad was delicious. It also made me feel less guilty about the upcoming Pizookie. I stuck with the strawberry theme and got the strawberry shortcake Pizookie and hubby got the chocolate chunk this time. They really know what they're doing with these warm cookies with ice cream on top. I was in heaven! My blood sugar did stay high for a few hours despite me adding some extra insulin (I was probably too conservative with my dosing), but I was happy to enjoy a bit of normalcy before I go back to the restrictions for a few more weeks. read more

We live hours south from here, and can't stand the cold weather. Today it was in the 30's, and it felt like that inside...JK, but my wife and I had to wear our thick winter jackets inside the entire time. It would have been 5-star if it was warmer inside. I wanted a beer, but couldn't drink a cold beverage. The sante-fe salad was spot in. Good chicken and filling. I was full after eating it. This is really more like 4.5 stars. What a delightful surprise this place was. I had heard about the good Pizookie meal deal they offer here: a choice of about 10 entrees that come with a mini Pizookie for only $13. I didn't have high expectations, but they were definitely surpassed. It did start off a little rocky with no one offering to serve us for about 10 minutes. But once we were helped, the experience quickly improved. Julia K was our server, and she was fantastic. I was torn between the chicken bacon ranch piadina and the pizza, but decided to go classic with a pizza. (Am I the only one who is not obsessed with ranch dressing? Maybe.) Hubby got the fried chicken entree. My pizza came with a choice of salad, and Julia recommended the arugula, tomato, and mozzarella. This salad was huge on its own and packed with cheese. The pizza was really good, fluffy and crispy in just the right way. I only ate half because I knew that warm mini-sized Pizookie was coming, and there's no way ice cream makes good leftovers. I had done my research on the best Pizookie flavor, and one I would not normally order -- the strawberry shortcake -- ended up being incredible. Hubby had the salted caramel. They even let you choose between chocolate or vanilla ice cream for your Pizookie. For $13, I had half a pizza to take home and a full happy belly. Hubby signed up for the rewards club, which seems like a solid deal. You get a free full-sized Pizookie for signing up, another one for your birthday, free beer upgrades, occasional free appetizer coupons, and half-price take-home pizzas. Went to BJs for a girls night get together - we ordered the cous cous Mac and cheese balls, a flat bread, the shrimp and toast and the Brussels sprouts to start. Every appetizer was amazing. While in DFW area, I met a friend for lunch at BJ's and had a great experience! Lunch arrival around 12:45pm and was greeted by super nice hostess (didn't get her name). Our server was Domanick - he was friendly, attentive, made good food suggestions, and didn't rush us. We each had soup and salad and our server pointed us to another area on the menu that allowed us to save $1 and also got a small size dessert with the meal. If in the area, I highly recommend BJ's for a quick lunch (or a 2+ hour meeting if you are like me catching up with an old friend) and request to have Domanick as your server. 10 out 10 would recommend! read more

It's been since 2018 since I've been to a BJ's. We decided to try this spot, and while it wasn't bad, it didn't really stand out either. The couscous macaroni balls weren't my favorite--the texture of the couscous threw me off, which also affected the overall taste. The nachos were decent--good, but nothing particularly memorable. For dessert, the pizookies, are very fun to eat and enjoy. we got the triple Pizookie with Cookies & Cream, Strawberry Shortcake, and Hot Fudge flavors. I really loved the Cookies & Cream, my friend enjoyed the Hot Fudge, but neither of us cared for the Strawberry Shortcake. Overall, the food was okay, but nothing extraordinary. I get off work pretty late, and we usually pick up food to go. I understand it's the end of the night and everyone is more than ready to go home, so we are used to mediocre service when eating out so late. On this specific night I was off a little early and we decided to come out for dinner, and we are SO GLAD we did! Cameron took great care of us! She was knowledgeable about the menu. Friendly AND attentive! We decided on the smoke house burger and kickin chicken sandwich. I must say THAT BURGER left me regretting switching halfsis with my boyfriend! It's a must try. We also enjoyed the biscoff Pizookie which is where I should've started my dinner experience to begin with! We could NOT stop eating though we SHOULD'VE! It was Tuesday Pizookie night and the place was FULL of teenagers. Immediately my boyfriend and I thought we chose the wrong night to come out. To our surprise Cameron was such a treat! It was so nice to have someone so charismatic EVEN at the end of the night! We've eaten here many times over the years. The fried chicken is over cooked. The potatoes are dry. The fish and chips was once pretty good. The last few times it has been greasy. A bunch of friends and I decided to have an impromptu get together for New Year's Eve, and chose this restaurant for our meal. The atmosphere there was lively, with good music playing in the background. Latoya N was our server and she warmly greeted us and made us feel welcome!! She was very engaging, didn't rush us at any point during our meal, and she had a great sense of humor. Her service was prompt without being overbearing. She took our drink and appetizer order, and everything came out great! I ordered the Deep Dish Nachos with chicken for our appetizer, and it was delicious! I especially loved how fresh and cold the guacamole was, and there was no shortage of grilled chicken and melted cheese. For our entrees, I ordered the smokehouse burger, and my dining partner ordered the Seared Ahi Salad. Both choices were excellent! My only complaint is that we didn't save room for a pizookie. Indulge in the limited time $12 deals as well that last Monday-Friday! First one, ordered the pepperoni deep dish for carry out and when I got home, opened the box and there's no pepperoni - however, there were little round spots of tomato sauce, as if pepperoni had been there and then taken off ?? I don't know why they would do that when I DID order pepperoni - crust was pretty burnt too. Last experience, tried the southern chicken fried chicken with gravy - gravy was the consistency of water. For being in the South, that's embarrassing. Pretty disappointed unfortunately, I used to love this location. Edit - after reading other reviews it would seem that this location is more focused on dine-ins than to-gos. If you can't dine in, I wouldn't bother. read more

This place has always been a reliable spot for when you're not sure what to eat! We ended up here after church on Sunday and had little to no wait (which is amazing for Sunday afternoons)! Service wasn't the fastest but our waitress was super nice and doing her best juggling her tables! The staff definitely turns over tables quickly so that was nice! The restaurant itself is known for its brewery-ish vibes and nothing has changed much with this location since I was in high school almost 10 years ago. The booth were comfy and out compared to an upscale Chili's! Three of us split their medium size pizza, and one order of the couscous, mac & cheese balls. I'll admit I was skeptical of the mac & cheese balls, since mentioned couscous and not pasta. But the flavors were all there. The pizza was a half-and-half, great white and buffalo. The menu is extensive and has Italuan, steaks, seafood, americana, etc. I had their Adian sesame chi ken salad whi h was very delicious and flavorful. My adult son had the salmon on a bed of pilaf rice. It was delucious. I was so surprised. The fish was flaky and of a high quality. Ee are for sure coming back when my husband can join us. We ordered food for home. I've loved going to BJs in the past. But as of late, the food has not been good...at all. My ribeye was supposed to be medium rare and 1/3 of the steak was burnt. Once it's been burned, the flavor is not good. The potatoes were good but my salad dressing was so watered down, it went straight to the bottom. Horrible. When we complained and sent a pic of the food, they gave us a $5 credit. $5!! I'm very disappointed and we will not be ordering from there again. I never thought I would say this... but the food was actually really good both in terms of taste and value. BJ's really stepped it up! It was packed on a weekend night, but we came because the prime rib deal is only on weekends. It's so worth it for $35! You get a 15oz prime rib with choice of 2 sides, choice of bowl of soup or salad (not cup, bowl), and choice of one pizookie. And it honestly can feed 2+ people. The prime rib was actually pretty good too! Not high end steakhouse level of course, but definitely good taste and texture. We also got the avocado egg rolls which were interesting, filling, and tasty. The ahi tuna salad was delicious but I wish they put more tuna. The monkey bread pizookie is divine cinnamon goodness; it was the winner among the pizookies because the others are too sweet. We had never dined at this BJ's, but needed a bite to eat & went in shortly after 3:00 pm, 4/9/26. We were greeted & asked if we wanted a table or booth. My hubby said, "table, please" & we were led to a booth. We looked at each other, shrugged our shoulders & said, "OK", to ourselves. The piped in music was so loud, we were guessing even their employees couldn't hear well, either. A waitress stopped by our table & took our drink requests & we asked if she could wipe off the table, because it was wet from the previous table occupants. Rather than suggest she could move us to another clean table, she chose to wipe off the table, as we removed silverware & table signs, so she could do so. She asked if we needed time to look over our menus & we told her that would be fine. Well, a few minutes turned into about 15 minutes, as I observed our waitress dart onto restroom, then go back to where ever the food orders are created & chatting with other employees. She finally came to our table & took our order, but quite honestly, we were about to leave! My spouse ordered a salad, & when the waitress came by to check on us, he requested some toasted Parmesan bread .. to go with his salad & for me to munch on before our meal. He finished his salad, & we waited another 15-20 minutes for our meal, served by someone other than our waitress, & we agreed, the salmon entree was quite delicious. We were going to order a Pizookie, but the waitress never came back to our table .. & the restaurant was not busy! I had to get up from the table & go ask another employee to please find our waitress so we could get our check. When she appeared, we told her my spouse never got his Parmesan toast, she gave us a rather lame apology, but had she stopped by our table a few times, she would have known the toast never arrived! She placed our check on the table & walked away! Thankfully, we were not charged for the toast & decided to pay with cash & leave. 1/2 off Large Pizza's - Monday Special This deep dish style pizza is soft and crunchy at the same time. The bottom of the crust is crispy but the dough is super fluffy and soft! Our favorite is the Buffalo Chicken with the perfect tangy buffalo sauce and ranch drizzle and goes well with grilled chicken and crunchy celery. I am in Dallas for business and I wanted a place to eat that was within walking distance of my hotel. One thing I hate is to patronize a chain restaurant I can patronize in Memphis! BJ's seemed like the perfect fit. Walking distance from the Hilton Garden Inn, and a micro brewery! I sat at the bar and I was not disappointed. I tried two of their house beers, an IPA and a red and both were outstanding! It was happy hour so I tried one of their personal pan pizzas (buffalo chicken). It was good but I would order it with extra sauce next time. I also had some spinach dip and it was good as well. As is usual for me I like to end with comments about the service. My bartender was awesome. I forgot to check or ask her name but I plan to go back so I will add it later. She was fantastic. Very helpful when I asked about the beers. Super nice and chatty, even though she was super busy. She is the main reason I will return. The manager was also super friendly. I asked for the Cardinals game and, unfortunately, they didn't have that channel. He was extremely apologetic in spite of the fact he did nothing wrong! Great place. Great atmosphere. I used to order the same thing from the bjs in Denton and the blackened salmon would come with a sauce. This location didn't give a sauce with salmon, but the salmon was cooked nicely and had good flavor! The Brussels were delicious and the sauce had lots of sriracha in it which I love!
