My family and I came to have a quick lunch. It took 45 minutes to get our house salads and over an hour for our meals. Please see pictures. They were supposed to be personal pan pizzas. As you can see they look more like soup slop. The cheese wasn't even melted and neither were cut. The manager came out to deliver the pizzas and didn't even blink about the appearance of the food she delivered. When we complained to the server she seemed more annoyed than helpful. I have been to BJ's a few times, in different states. I was disappointed at this location. Our server was lingering when we didn't need him and seem to disappear when we did. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo; bland, no seasoning, disappointing. It has no taste, adding salt and pepper didn't help much. The chicken was also very gummy and chewy, looked and tasted like pre-cooked, pre-packaged chicken. We shared the spinach and artichoke did, also did not care for that. The last time (and first time) I was at a BJ's,was twenty years ago. Yipe! Yikes. So a few things have changed since I was an intern... There is now tavern style pizza, which I tried. I thought it was good. I wasn't really in the mood for something super heavy and I didn't really want to be adventurous since I am out of town working and I'm doing a lot of adventurous eating at the moment. My wife and I only stopped there for a drink and a pizooki and we really enjoyed it! They offered some fun drinks and they're known for the pizookies(ice cream on top of a cookie heated in a skillet). I had the monkey bread flavor and my wife got Dubai chocolate. We were both very impressed and pleased. Atmosphere and staff presented a friendly vibe. Menu had a lot of delicious sounding food options. Had the shrimp special. It is an appetizer but works great as a meal. I don't know what they do the shrimp is cooked in, but it is delicious. The coffee is good too. Saturday night during the final four, place was packed, lots of TVs. Server was good all around. My house salad came pre-dressed with way too much dressing. It was pooled up on the bottom of the bowl, & not a lot of greens I must say. Both our soups came out hardly warm so I asked to be microwaved & she took them back. Eight minutes later they came back out. My chili was a tad bit warmer I think? & but wife's chicken tortilla soup was not even warm at all now plus the strips were all soggy. The server apologized again and then brought out a new chicken tortilla soup, which was piping hot this time. We think they got forgotten or just left underneath a warmer. Pale ale chili had kinda slimy consistency - but flavor was decent. Maybe too much oil in it? The brownie Pazooki was OK as the batter is more cakey than a brownie, and we even asked for it well done, and it still wasn't Crispy but just more dried out. Overall, I like the big menu that can please large groups. Cocktails are very juice forward rather alcohol. Burgers were good because of nice toppings but flavor was still a bit dull, just adding more things doesn't add flavor. Unfortunately fries didn't come out hot but were still crispy and pretty decent tasting. I do love that we got a good amount of chicken on the salad but also it was around $16.... The worst experience I have had in a restaurant in years! Our food showed up in spurts, all 15 min apart. We couldn't get drinks from the bar...literally has to ask over and over. We couldn't get our waters filled up and had the drink other people's. And noooo bussing our table...we had dirty dishes sitting in front of us the whole time. We literally had to stack our plates on the table behind us!! When it came time to get bills hey we're all wrong. It took 30 minutes just to get our bills paid. Update to my review from a week ago, this is as of June 9th, 2024: Thank you to Headquarters for providing us with a Courtesy Card to make up for the failure the week before. We have used it last night. My husband had a cup of chili, salad, burger and a pizzookie. I had the prime rib dinner. Not only did our waitress not understand that people usually eat soup and salad before the main meal, everything came at the same time, although we had mentioned when we ordered to not bring the main meal to soon after the salad. She took the burger and the prime rib back, which was not redone, but most likely kept under some warming light. That is absolutely unprofessional, especially for medium/rare meat like a prime rib. My husband seems to be ok this morning, while I am sick like a dog with the worst Montezuma's revenge anyone can even imagine. I have nothing else to blame that I had eaten that day, and there was an issue with the meat anyways, but I just did not feel to complain again. The texture of the meat did not seem to be good quality, it was nearly impossible to cut in bite size pieces, and I left more than half of it one the plate. Service came with an unnecessary dose of snark from the waitress in addressing an innocent question but it wasn't offensive enough to cost the establishment any stars when the food is so perfect. I got the bowl with extra black beans and salmon on too. It was good. I especially liked the black beans and the pickled onion combo. But the extra spinach was dry. And the overall bowl was soupy. And the salmon was over cooked. One friend got the lemon thyme chicken . He returned it. He said it was too much salt. One friend got the salmon and she liked it. She also said the Caesar was good. That salad looked good! Another friend got the Penne with grilled chicken added. she liked it but it was too large a portion. Worst experience I've had at a BJs and that means a lot because they are plentiful. We are seated promptly. Drinks ordered. My wife and I order soda water with lime. We received a sprite with a lime, which is an understandable mistake; however, we are gaslighted into believing that the "sprite comes out of the same line and it is indeed soda water." I am a soda water with lime connoisseur and I can confirm it was DEFINITELY not soda water. We ask for a regular water as we did not want to ingest the sugar sprite she left at the table. We receive an extremely disrespectful look. At this point my evening is already ruined and the vibe was off. After this altercation, I attempt to order a MONKEY BREAD PIZOOKIE, which we called about 20 minutes before arriving to confirm that they still had them as they are a hot commodity, just to receive the disgusting news that they were sold out. After telling our waitress that we had called she abruptly interrupts to let us know that "they had just sold the last one." My step sister's water glass sits empty on the table even as our waitress walks up and down the aisle like she's a bride looking for her lost ring. We order steak nachos and a strawberry shortcake pizookie praying they will make up for this unpleasant feeling lingering in the air. Needless to say I was, once again, disappointed. The steak was rudely fatty and extremely sweet. The consistency of the steak was more similar to that of pork belly, which is tearful as my step sister who is a muslim opted not to eat the nachos as she did not want to risk it. Additionally, the serving size was substantially smaller than the typical. The strawberry shortcake pizookie was just okay. Not great but not bad. My God son was saddened by this. Greeted immediatley by a friendly hostess stand, and was seated right away with what it seemed like a pretty packed restaurant. The one hostess was super sweet and nice and gave us a run down on specials and items, then the service was continued to be amazing with a great attentive server, drinks came fast, the place wasn't too loud with a nice level of music and plenty of televisions with all the sports you could think of. We Looked to see how long the wait was on their website. An hour before we had planned on going thinking it would be busy. The website said 10 minutes so I waited to join the list since I knew we didn't plan to get there for another hour. Once we were 10 minutes out, we joined the wait list which still said the wait was 10 minutes. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told it would be way over an hour. I said "the wait list said 10 minutes". The man said the website is always going to say 10 minutes no matter the wait time at the restaurant. What's the point of listing the wait time on your website if it doesn't actually know the real wait time? read more

The food here is pretty good. Pizza, burgers, salads and beer no complaints. But tonite we tried the ribs. At $28 for a half slab, they are similar to a McRib with bones. Do not order fake meat. Okay... so... I LOVE BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. I will tell you immediately if I have a big appetite, it's Avacado Egg Rolls or Wings to start followed by Slow Roasted Tri-Tip. Baked Potato, and steamed broccoli. The serving size on apps is large enough to typically leave me eating just half the main dish and having it for lunch the next day. I have not sampled a variety of their menu because I found what I loved right away. My son loved their wings and they are quite tasty and well sauced. As the location can be very busy and people like to meander wait times can be excessive but that's not an issue as most restaurants are similar lately. My chief complaint was I was not a fan of their "app" payment method. You do not Have to use it, and that is important to know, as my complaint was I like to try the new-fangled things and steps to make it all easier, and it was not. It may be the second or third time you use it as your account is already set up but for the first attempt, it was painful. For everything else I highly recommend this location! read more

A decent resort for average mid to upscale food serving a crazy large menu late into the evening (11:00-ish). Better call ahead though, cuz "if it's slow the manager might decide to shut down early." That ridiculously large menu has something for everybody, but leaves them a jack of all trades, master of none. Think Cheesecake Factory, but less expensive and less good (and come on folks, the food at CCF really ain't all that great.) a step up from Applebee's I suppose. The service is at or just under par given the day, but damn if that isn't the case at the majority of restaurants anymore. They have lots of beer at BJ's though, and that can make the mediocrity more than bearable. When the pickins are slim and I see a BJ's near the mall, I'm there. read more

This is my second time that I've been to a BJ's restaurant, and it was overall a good experience. ~ Food/Drink: The burger, while a little overcooked, tasted okay, and the fries were crispy and delicious. I also had the orange cream soda as my drink. I personally thought Stewart's brand of orange cream soda was better, but it got the job done. ~ Service: The service was good for the most part and thought the waiter treated my friend and I well throughout. The one critique I had was that the hostess had placed us near the entrance when there were so many other seating options in the general area that looked better including a booth. ~ Ambiance: Not as loud as you would think; just the right amount to where it's not obnoxious and can hear the people you're with. I had the most unusual dining experience ever! I ordered the southern fried chicken meal and it arrived to the table cold. I told our server and she took the meal back and put it in the microwave! I could not believe it! Instead of bringing out a fresh plate of food they put the meal in the microwave and brought it back to the table. When they returned the dish the chicken was tough and dry. This is embarrassing for any restaurant. Because of this I will never return. read more
