I honestly can say yesterday was really bad service. I called in my order for two brewhouse phillys, I asked a SIMPLE question if it came with both french fries and coleslaw, because it lists coleslaw / french fries. I am in culinary and usually if it was one or the other it would have said "your choice of... fries or coleslaw. So I called in a pick up order and asked the lady if its both or one or the other. She told me it was either fries or coleslaw. So I ordered one with Fries and one with coleslaw, then I ordered for myself the thyme and lemon chicken breast but instead of Brussels sprouts and brown rice I wanted double rice. The lady seems unsure of my order so I knew we would have complications when we picked up. As I arrived to the pick up I found that my two pillys did not come as I ordered. One was a small side of coleslaw in a 2oz which I thought was a side like the lady said and a big side salad next to the other philly. I looked at my chicken and nowhere did it say there was tomato basil on top either as a garnish or in the dish and it was piled high on top of my chicken. I explained to the manager what was wrong and everything that the lady told me what comes with what and even then he couldn't make it right. He could have gave me coleslaw in the size container the side salad was in because according to the lady she told me it was either fries or coleslaw, he instead remade my chicken with new mashed with no tomato basil on top of the chicken BUT it was cold chicken and told me the reason for that is because he didn't want me to wait longer than I have. Which wasn't the case but also could have given me the option if I wanted to wait for it to be remade hot or just give me the chicken cold. I understand times are hard, being short staffed we will hire anyone but at least train your staff to understand the menu. read more

Start visiting this place shortly after it was opened. Very nice building, fancy revolving door (feel like a kid lost in the elevator). Looking good inside as well. Big windows inside so brewery visible from the dining room. Like cleanliness, good set up. Pretty good quality food. On the pricey side tho. Great happy hour. Monday special- any pizza 1/2 price for full quality always bring me here. Skipping some weeks just to keep my weight down as much as i can. Definitely will be back! read more

I wasn't going to leave this after the incident but since it became a bigger headache than it should have been and cost me about two hours of my time I'm leaving this review. First off love the food. We were regular customers for this year. Sometimes going there twice per week. We put in a delivery order back in October through their website. The delivery order was canceled. I called the restaurant to inquire why twice. The phone was never picked up. Since I couldn't get through to the restaurant that day, I used their online form because I noticed the charge pending on my credit card. I wanted to make sure I wasn't charged. Two days later I received 3 phone calls from their restaurant. I work long hours and was not able to answer. One phone call had a voicemail from Bram MacAlpin, the manager. I also got a follow-up email from him. Glad I kept the evidence, including the voicemail. The email states this word for word- I hope this finds you well. Responding to your message I want to deeply apologize that your order was canceled. Wednesday the 26th we had to unexpectedly close due to an operational issue. I have already contacted our premier rewards to have your rewards put back on your account. Please accept a gift card that I will be sending in a separate email for the inconvenience. -Bram MacAlpin Senior Manager My rewards were never put back in (10.00). I got a credit card charge from the restaurant including the delivery charge and tip. I disputed the charge. Credit card gave me my money back. I was going to leave it at that UNTIL the restaurant tried to make me look like a liar and disputed the chargeback and got their money back. I appealed and took my time with the timeline. My son was kind enough to make me a PDF file of the voicemail that was left on my phone so I could submit it to my credit card company. I also found in my calls the three times the manager called me along with proof I had called BJs and the text where they canceled the order. My credit card company has now given me my money back because of my proof. Because of my time and aggravation, I am putting this review to be wary. Marvin and stopped in for Happy hour. We're each enjoying the house double IPA Committed. For the happy hour price of $4. The flavor is quite balanced and the finish is suberb. It is truly a Hop Head's dream with a 95 IBU and 8.6 ABV. Sierra is truly a pleasure to work with. She knows the beers and is excited to help us decide what to try. And half price appetizers? Just got back home from date night and had to get on here and tell everyone to go here!!!!!!!!! My boyfriend and I weren't sure where to eat and were searching yelp and came across bj's. I know I've been to one before in Chicago and didn't know they had locations here. The service was excellent, we were seated as soon as we walked in. They have a very large beer selection because I believe they brew their own beer. I couldn't choose just one so I got a flight of 4 for $8. We had the avocado egg rolls as an app. For dinner they had a special. $13.49 for a half rack of ribs / 2 sides/ and dessert or sirloin tip / 2 sides / dessert. My boyfriend got the ribs and I got the sirloin tip. Can I just take a quick second to rave about this sirloin?!?? Soooo tender and cooked perfectly medium!!! This had to be top 3 steaks I have ever had. And I've had a lot of steak! Lol We got a dessert too, but got it boxed to go. We were way too full to even try and conquer it. We decided to come to bj since tonight they had half price on appetizers if you sit at the bar and their sliders are to die for. We usually get them with fries but wanted to go light since we also ordered the spinach artichoke cheese dip. Aside from food I had ordered the strawberry splash and it was pretty good. I'm more of a frozen drink type of person and not a hard liquor drinker but to each their own. The sliders come with bacon and of course cheese with a generous amount of ketchup on each slider. The bun this time was perfect and crispy while the meat was juicy. Each order comes with four but we dove in and I forget to take a picture before hand hehe. The order of spinach artichoke cheese dip was fantastic. Each dip left you with warm gooey cheese dripping off the chip. My husband and I went there for drinks and food. Bartender (Andrew) took our drink order and pretty much ignored us after that, even though we said we'd be ordering food. Had to ask for water three times. Finally took our food order, when we received no utensils or napkins. He acted as though we were inconveniencing him, just kept chatting with other workers and checking his phone. I've been to a number of BJ's Restaurants but this was my first visit to this location. We stopped in for a business lunch between 11:30 AM and noon it was busy but not overly crowded. We were seated right away and greeted by our server she was very friendly and took our drink orders as she handed out the lunch menus. You'd be hard pressed to not find something you like here the menu is extensive not only in regards to the drinks but also appetizers, entree as well as desserts. We ordered avocado egg rolls for an appetizer and placed our lunch order at the same time. Unfortunately the appetizer never arrived so I am deducting a star our server was very apologetic but the fact remains there was a disconnect between the floor and the kitchen, however it's wasn't the end of the world the salad and flat bread pizza I ordered was more than enough for lunch. I do like the fact that the food usually comes out of the kitchen fast the small miscue isn't a deal breaker for me I would definitely return. read more

Good happy hour and drinks but its either a hit or miss with the food. I tried the Brussels sprouts app my last visit and the Brussels were so good! Ordered the shrimp scampi for entree and added blackened chicken and asked to blacken the shrimp as well. Protein wasn't very blackened and the chicken looked like it was undercooked. This was our first visit to a BJ's Brewhouse, friends had recommended it because they enjoyed the quality and variety. Neither of us could decide what we are really in the mood for and thought this would be a great option. We had a slightly bumpy start as the hostess never spoke to us, she just picked up a couple menus and waited for us to ask for a booth for two; walking us to a booth. I suddenly realized that during a quick minute of free time she apparently snuck a bite of something, and we walked in. Been there. Our server Mikal came to the table right away and offered drinks. He was really friendly, pointed out a few things on the menu but never rushed us to get out order placed. My husband went with the Black and Blue House Burger ($9.95) a burger with crumbled blue cheese, crisp bacon, grilled onion, (he ordered his without tomato), and garlic aioli. He also got it with sweet potato fries. The burger was cooked perfectly, with lots of flavor, and the bacon was crisp. The sweet potato fries were fresh and not greasy. I wanted something lighter and was also craving pizza. I decided on a House Wedge Salad ($3.75) a beautiful wedge of iceberg lettuce with diced tomatoes, bacon and creamy blue cheese dressing. Light, crisp and full of flavor. I also went with a Mini Deep Dish Tomato and Cheese Pizza and added some sausage. It was just enough. I wanted a thick cheesy bite with some flavor. Mikal kept our drinks refilled and checked back to make sure everything was okay and to see if we wanted some dessert. Great guy, friendly and an excellent server. Great food for a great price! For the price that's similar to Applebee's or Chili's, you can get better quality of food here. It can get crowded and noisy when it's busy. Each day they have different special and sometimes the special would come with a pizookie. I've tried almost all the flavor of pizookie and they're all are so freaking good! This time I went with the hot fudge brownie (comes with a scoop of ice cream) and dudeeeeee I still dream about it until now. So I paid $45 food foos that was never received and have not been given a refund.
