Ahi tuna salad - 1/2 portion shown!

We stopped in today, after watching a grandson's baseball tournament in St. Pete - Eric & Sharon - bartenders extroadonaire waited on us. What a wonderful experience and made us big fans of the food, service and atmosphere. Kudos to this team. Not often you have zero complaints - and this is one where we left saying see you soon!! Wonderful examples of going the extra mile to meet and greet their customers!

Party of four, Friday night, food was pretty good, reasonably priced, service was great! 4.5 stars and call it a safe bet.

Came for the pizookies, left with pizookies AND a lucky duck margarita. Declan was a great server. He answered all our questions and made sure we were well taken care of. For the Wednesday before thanksgiving it was just, but the service was great!

Tuesday's are for 1/2 off pizookies. You can self seat in the bar. They have a kids menu that comes with your choice of entree, side and drink for $7.99. The interior is the same as it's been for the last decade but it doesn't quite feel super dated yet.

Came to BJ's after seeing they had a wing Wednesday for five dollar wings. We also got lucky with the happy hour so long story short we got a little crazy got some personal pizzas, wings, Ahi Poke and of course finished strong with some mini pizookies. Now everything tasted pretty good, the wings weren't fresh unfortunately but everything else was okay for the most part. It did take forever for the food to come out which made me scan the restaurant and it didn't look as busy, but maybe they were short staffed in the back. I don't know but we were there longer than we intended to be. I also found out that they have their crafted root beer now in cans which is pretty cool.

Always a good time here. Good food , cold'ish beer , great service , lots of TV's. A great place to gather or to watch sports. I normally get the deep dish pizza but instead, got the thin tavern cut pizza. Was great!

I used to like BJs and really liked their gf buns for their burgers. Tonight I got tortilla soup..... I guess you could call it that. It was awful! Tasted more like slop. My burger was supposed to be medium and was very well done! Had no flavor and was bad quality. the kids sundae was a joke. They can't even do chocolate syrup it's just these little chocolate chips and it's not good quality ice cream or whipped cream. I spent $50 and was very unsatisfied. Won't be back or order from here again.

We were seated right away, but as we sat and ate the place really filled up and it was a Tuesday night... There were many happy hour specials that we took advantage of... shareable appetizers and margaritas! Yum... We ordered the Ahi poke bowl which was very tasty and nicely presented, the sliders which had 4 small burgers on buns, the calamari which was crispy batter fried and a generous portion served with a dipping sauce and deep dish nachos, which again were generous portion size loaded with the fixings and chicken One in our party ordered the chicken BLT and could only finish half of it but said it was really good and another in our party ordered one of the meal deals that included a burger, fried and a pizookie (cookie in an individual sized pizza pan) with vanilla ice cream. He said it was perfect!

The only place I would stop in on a Sunday night would be BJs of Pinellas Park. I typically love to watch my sports and unwind from a long day at work. I always sit in the cocktail area of the bar. Those who know are aware of their fantastic Happy Hour from 9pm till midnight Sun-Thurs nights. Chelsi is always on point and always keeps my sweet tea full. I enjoy the conversations I have her. They mostly revolve around current global geo economics and the weather. She's got a wholesome sorta folksy perspective that I find helpful. Her service is great and my food always arrives in a timely manner. I'm equally impressed she always remembers my number for the rewards program. I'd recommend you request her. Thank you Michael J Beal Clearwater, Florida

We visited this place on Wednesday night and it was full house. Party of 6 with high chair took 30 mins to get our food. The wings I've tried was very tasty and meaty. The boneless wings were small and lumpy kind of meat. I loved the bjs blonde beer that came In tall glass.

Stopped in for Father's Day this evening and was happy to have a great server take care of us!! Chelsi was friendly and assisted in recommending menu selections for our visit. The food and drinks were served in an efficient manner. Food was brought out hot and plated nicely with great flavor!! Restaurant was pleasantly quiet for a Sunday evening which was nice as well.

I call this spot old faithful, been frequenting this spot for over 15 years and it never disappoints. I go for the Mediterranean chicken pita tacos which are low calorie and high in protein. We also have the new dry rub dill pickle wings a try and they were delicious, fried perfectly. Also we enjoyed the ginormous pretzel and of course you can't leave here without getting a pizookie. We had the triple chocolate pizookie and let's just say it didn't remain on the table long. Always a good dining spot, especially on game day .

The pull apart focaccia was a stand out alongside the Cesar salad. For mains we shared two of their most popular pasta dishes and they were cooked perfectly. **A Disappointing Anniversary Dinner at Elliot Aster, Not the Michelin Level Experience We…read moreExpected** We visited Elliot Aster at The Vinoy last night to celebrate our anniversary, and while a few thoughtful touches stood out, the overall experience fell well short of what a restaurant with Michelin aspirations, and a $300 price tag, should deliver. I want to preface this by saying we are easygoing, forgiving people who rarely complain, so it takes a lot for us to leave a review like this. I was especially excited going in after reading the chef's bio, which references Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons. I dined there back in the late 90s, and it remains one of the best meals of my life, right up there with dinner at Alain Ducasse in NYC. That pedigree set my expectations high, though not unrealistic ones. Unfortunately, the execution at Elliot Aster did not come close to living up to that lineage. **The good:** The team acknowledged our anniversary with a card at the table and a glass of champagne with dessert. The filet was cooked perfectly, the gnocchi was well done, and dessert was excellent. **The not so good:** Nearly everything else. Getting to the restaurant itself was confusing. There was no valet greeting, no doorman, and no signage in the lobby pointing us to Elliot Aster, so we had to ask the front desk for directions. Once seated, service was disorganized from start to finish. We ordered cocktails while waiting for our table, and they took 45 minutes to arrive, after multiple follow ups and having to close out a bar tab before the drinks even showed up. My martini arrived nothing like the version advertised (one plain olive instead of the three blue cheese stuffed olives pictured on their own Instagram). Later, at the bar, a port and a beer sat forgotten for 20+ minutes before our server realized he had never brought them over. Our entrees also arrived before we had finished our cocktails, which felt rushed rather than paced for a fine dining experience. The octopus starter was well seared but the flavor combination felt scattered, and the truffle sauce on my filet had almost no truffle flavor, especially disappointing given the chef's pedigree. One small but telling detail: the decorative olive trees hanging over our table were visibly dusty, which was distracting and not something you want to notice at a white tablecloth dinner. No server mentioned a signature dish, made a recommendation, or referenced a sommelier. We never saw one on the floor. I also want to mention the dress code, or lack thereof. We understand we are in Florida, and a laid back approach makes sense here. But asking guests not to wear shorts or t-shirts does not seem unreasonable for a restaurant at this level. Gym clothes, which we saw on more than one guest, is simply not acceptable at this tier of dining. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I understand things go wrong, but this was a long list of avoidable missteps, not one off bad luck. Given the chef's background and the promise it suggested, this was a real letdown. The bar itself is gorgeous, and we had genuinely hoped this would become a regular spot for us, especially given the lounge menu. We were hoping for something reminiscent of La Belle Vie in Minneapolis, a place that held a special spot in our hearts. Unfortunately, based on this visit, we cannot recommend Elliot Aster or The Vinoy.

Most recently, my husband and I came for dinner. We started with the burrata and plum special as well as the tuna tartare for appetizers. When I tell you I will dream about the burrata appetizer. It was that good. The tuna was delicious as well and we loved the shrimp chips and how they were shaped like little tacos to make your own tuna tacos! For dinner, I got the branzino and my husband got the cheeseburger with truffle fries. Both entrees were incredible. No notes. Then we got three desserts...we had the lemon tart and the donut bread pudding while at the restaurant and we got a chocolate cake to go. All of the desserts were delicious. There's dedicated parking for the restaurant behind the building in the lot, plus metered street parking and garages within less than a block. The main entrance is on the side of the building, on 5th Street S just off 6th Avenue S. Outdoor seating is available, but I personally wouldn't choose it, sitting right next to a busy intersection with constant traffic and exhaust isn't my idea of enjoyable. That said, the interior ambiance alone is worth the visit. Inspired by the historic George Peabody Library and part of the Oxford Commons Hospitality group, the design is quirky, fun. The thoughtful mix of bookshelves, warm lighting, rich browns and deep blues, and the seamless blend of library, bar, and dining space creates a truly special atmosphere, especially if you love books. We visited as part of a large group for a special occasion dinner. They accommodated us on very short notice after our original plans changed due to possible rain and outside seating only at our first reservation, which was impressive. Our waitress was fantastic, she handled our entire table (and others) by herself with no buss person and still managed every order and individual request with genuine care and efficiency. I haven't tried breakfast, lunch, the morning coffee/pastry take-out window, or the bar yet, but the dinner experience was excellent. Fair warning: this is not a budget-friendly spot. If you're watching every dollar or might resent the food due to prices, it's probably not the place for you. It's ideal for special occasions or when you want to enjoy a meal without worrying about the cost, each dish/cocktail is in line with upscale dining in the area,it does add up quickly with drinks, apps, entrees, and sides, though I read they have happy hour. We ordered appetizers (shared), I also had the opportunity to sip a few cocktails (when offered), I also shared entrees, and sides with some of our group. Everything we tried was very good, there were not stand-outs, all was scrumptious, from the start of appetizers: the warm bread with its delicious butter spread, the roasted cauliflower, the spicy crispy shrimp, the Steak Frites, the perfectly cooked French fries, and the sautéed spinach, all of which I had a taste of personally. The portions looked modest on the plates but were surprisingly filling, many of us had leftovers to take home. We finished with the warm cookie and ice cream, which was hands-down amazing, especially with the perfect touch of flaky salt on top. The cocktails were strong and creative. My first choice (suggested by the waitress) wasn't quite to my taste, it was too tart and strong for me, but she immediately removed it from the bill and happily brought me something else I enjoyed much more. Overall, The Library delivers a memorable experience, amazing ambiance, a beautiful setting, attentive service, and excellent food. Next time I'm trying breakfast.

The restaurant is uniquely decorated with floor-to-ceiling books and those old-world aristocratic portraits that make you feel like you've stepped into a quaint literary hideaway. We were seated in a cozy corner with high-backed cushioned chairs that felt like our own little private nook. Perfect for a special occasion that's kind of low key. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the noise level was surprisingly low, which we really appreciated. It made it easy to relax and enjoy our time without feeling overwhelmed. Service was also great - attentive, friendly, and well-paced despite the crowd. Now, the menu... it was honestly hard to choose because so many items sounded amazing. We ended up ordering the crispy Brussels Sprouts and the warmed Burrata to start. The Brussels Sprouts were flavorful and enjoyable, though I personally would have loved just a bit more char on them for that extra depth. The burrata, on the other hand, was packed with flavor - especially if you're a fan of sun-dried tomatoes, this is definitely a must-try. The drinks were a standout, my lychee martini was light, smooth, and refreshing, while my husband's old fashioned was bold and perfectly crafted. He is quite the stickler for a good old fashioned. For our mains, my husband kept it classic with a bacon cheeseburger and fries, which he really enjoyed. It had that delicious smash burger style that hits the spot. I ordered the Chicken Paillard, and it was absolutely delicious--light, fresh, and full of flavor without feeling heavy. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and agreed that we'd definitely come back. There were still so many dishes we were tempted to try, and that's always a great sign. The Library is a unique and memorable spot that's perfect for brunch, date nights, or any special occasion. Give it a try!

Our favorites were the street corn croquetas and the Chipotle Roasted Snapper. They both had a perfect mix of flavors. The tuna tostadas were good but we didn't like the Smokey flavor with it. The green chickpea samosas were okay, not great in our opinion. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and would come back if I was in the area again.

Keep in mind that there is a 20% gratuity added to every check, regardless of party size! FOOD: Curry Mussels 10/10 -- My number one recommendation! The curry sauce isn't too heavy but still very flavorful, not to mention the bread portion is beyond generous. Tokyo Shrimp 9/10 -- Such plump shrimps! The batter isn't overdone and the sauce is amazinggg. It also came with a stuffed broccoli decorated in the middle of the plate on top of some fried rice. Butter Chicken 10/10 -- I cannot stop thinking about the naan. This entree was beyond my expectations. I have no notes, you must try it! Peruvian Chicken 7/10 -- The chicken could be more flavorful, was a tad lacking.

Firstly when the waiter brought out my plate, I noticed an item from my meal was missing. I asked him where my collard greens were and he says "you're right. Let me go get them." Once he brings the greens back and I taste them and they had zero flavor. Tasted straight out of a can. Secondly, when I cut into my chicken breast, the entire chicken breast slid out of the breading. Nice atmosphere so if I return it will only be for drinks.

The vibe is very clean girl meets beach town energy. Bright space, cute patio, everyone somehow looks like they either just finished Pilates or are about to go on a boat. It's casual but still feels fun enough to stay awhile. Menu-wise, there are way too many things I want to try every time. The Hot & Crunchy Tuna bowl absolutely deserves its reputation, and the hot honey pizza was dangerously good. Also not enough people talk about the cookies because those things have no business being that addictive. What I like most is that nothing tastes overly "healthy." Everything still feels flavorful and satisfying instead of sad wellness food pretending to be exciting. Everyone is super friendly and the ambiance refreshing Very much the kind of place you accidentally start going to multiple times a week because it works for literally every mood

The hot and crunchy bowl as suggested with sticky rice and seared tuna was really yummy. I did think the guacamole tasted old and not made in house. I'd rather sliced avocado as a fresher option. I also thought it could have used some edamame. My husband ordered the Mexican bowl and liked it. I tried some and didn't think it was very good. I thought the blackened chicken was tasty though. The bees sting sourdough pizza was tasty, but they ended the cheese and toppings like 4" from the crust. This made the pizza very small unless you're just eating all the crust. I really think they need to rethink their guacamole. It was low quality and really took away from the freshness of the bowls.

So many positive adjectives come to mind that I can't list them all so I will summarize: excellent, beautiful, delicious, unique, professional, helpful, unhurried and friendly. We purposely made a late afternoon reservation to avoid crowds and ensure we had time to relax and enjoy. We arrived at 4:30 and got to select a spacious table for four, even though there were two us, and relax. Megan, our server was truly excellent, patient, friendly and fun. Due to my dietary restrictions, I had to ask some questions and made a request or two but Megan handled it all very gracefully. Every drink and dish was unique, stunning and tasty. The decor is tasteful and the small details were quite impressive. Even the philosophy and story are well thought through and interesting. Valet parking is nearby and appreciated. It got busier the longer we stayed but the staff had it together. Nobody rushed us and we enjoyed every moment and morsel. Life is good with a fine, special dinner in St Petersburg.
