I came here because of their Dubai Chocolate items. I tried the Dubai Chocolate martini and it was very yummy. It was string, and just tasted like chocolate. The only 'Dubai Chocolate' thing about it was the kataifi crunch on the run of the cup. Presentation was nice but it could have been better. I also got the tuna poke nachos. It was really bad. It came with brown avocados so I had it sent back. They did bring back another one with green and fresh avocados, so that was appreciated. However, the tuna was super chewy and not cut up, everything was kind of clumped together. The only good thing we had was the bacon burger. I would say if it was the burger alone, I would've given a higher review. Service was great. Our server was very nice and was understanding when I needed the poke nachos sent back. During that time, we noticed multiple parties walking in, checking in after us, and being seated before us. These were not call-ahead reservations. We remained patient and checked in with the front staff a few times, but received inconsistent responses each time. We were told we were "next," then later that there were still several parties ahead of us. This experience was frustrating and unacceptable. Mismanaging wait times and giving inaccurate information wastes people's time and creates a poor customer experience. This was the Alamo Ranch location. This occurred on 5/2/26 around 6 PM. Our waiter was great, but we asked for bone in twice, and we were brought boneless anyway. My family doesn't do boneless! The spinach artichoke dip was just ok, but Applebees blows this out of the water. The mozzarella sticks and burgers were quite good though. For our meals we had the chicken Alfredo, slow roasted tri tip beef dip, and all American smash burger. We weren't in the mood for pizza. Let's start with the most disappointing dish. The tri tip beef dip lacked flavor and seasoning. Then the insult to the dish was the amount of au jus they served us. I'm not lying but it was like three tablespoons of it! The sweet potato fries were good though. The Alfredo was just ok. Just go next door to Olive Garden. The burger was the better of the dishes. But compared to burgers from other establishments, theirs are waay better. I don't get this place. The food is expensive and mediocre. We paid over $100 dollars for lackluster food. I had put myself on the waitlist before heading there. I told the greeter I was on the waitlist and she could care less. Seated us right away. Ambiance is laid back. We got lunch specials that came with a pazookie. I tried the pizza which wasn't really hot at all.. warm at best. My chicken wasn't piping hot but warm as well as the mashed potato. From the moment we sat down, our server was fantastic--super attentive, friendly, and more than happy to accommodate my endless requests for extra sauces and sides. Great service really makes a difference, and she definitely added to the experience. We started with the lemon pepper wings, which were tasty well-seasoned dry rub, and cooked just right. However, the Philly sandwich didn't quite hit the mark for me. It felt a bit plain and lacked the bold flavors I was hoping for, so it didn't stand out compared to everything else we ordered. The real stars of the meal were the calamari and mozzarella sticks. Both were perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned just right. To wrap things up, I got the three-flavor Pizookie, choosing strawberry shortcake, Oreo cookie, and caramel. Went in Thursday 9/11 for my moms birthday (party of 11) Worst experience ever. She left in tears and had to go through the Wendy's drive through on her way home. Out of the 11 meals ordered, 4 were horrible. The chicken Alfredo and spaghetti were AWFUL. Tasted like they'd been sitting in the kitchen for 2 days and were reheated. We sent them back. Ordered a rib/sirloin combo. Ordered the steak medium. Came back well done. Sent back the steak only and guess what, the second time it also came back well done (facepalm) guess the cooks do not know what medium means. The steak wedge salad- ordered the steak medium. It came out well done. Hard as rock. Didn't bother sending it back. The appetizers were fine. Waiter- not his fault about the food but he couldn't keep up with drink refills. Waited 15 mins at a time to get refills and that's only after WE asked HIM for refills. Pazookies were the only good part of the evening. Won't be going back. $297 bill for horrible food and bad service. Thanks for ruining my mom's birthday. read more

Very unhappy with this place. I've been coming here for quite some time. But the place is going downhill at least this location. The food has always been good and that hasn't changed. But having good food means nothing when the servers bring it out when it has clearly been sitting. We spend majority of the 2 and a half hours there waiting on our server. She did not check on us. We told her we needed a few minutes and she took 30 just to get back to us. She also forgot our to go dessert at the end and also made us wait even longer. This has been a common theme at this location whereas last time me and my partner waited over 1 hour 30 min for our server to come back and give us the check. We just ordered nachos. I'm quite fed up and unfortunately have lost a favorite spot of mine id recommend going next door to BB's or even Olive Garden which I am not a big fan of. read more

Went for lunch with the family. A family of 5 (all adults) was sat in a half circle booth, quite small. Was a little too close for comfort for us. It was not very busy in there. However, We had a very nice server. One disappointment I had was I ordered the margarita flight, and while aesthetically pleasing, all 4 of them tasted like they had been sitting with the ice for a while. Very watered down. Would not order again. My grandmother ordered the jambalaya, and it was super salty. The waiter even said that her own family usually orders it lightly seasoned because it is too salty. When I walk home ask if I can sit outside to which I receive a dirty look and a "there's no server outside" okay fine 4please "there's a 30min wait" this is said with a straight face as 42+ tables are open. Jeremy H... you friggin Rock. First time we had no issues. Server was readily available but not overbearing. He understood my humor which was greatly appreciated (even if he didn't, he's responses were 100%) We came in and were immediately greeted and seated due to being a party of 4. It wasn't too loud but their jams made me happy as I " Shook it off" with Taylor Swift while my 5 yr old hype man sat across from me a joined in lol what a blast. It was nice and kept up but of course there's always time for a good wipe down on the lamps and S&P shakers. This might be my preference but appetizers should not be more expensive than a main dish. The food was good and the menu had a lot of variety which I appreciated. The calamari should not have been more expensive than the burger dish. That's the biggest reason why it can't be five stars. It was $80 and that included tip for calamari, a ahi tuna salad, burger, and cookie dessert. Like k said before, the food was good but wasn't so amazing for that price tag. The service was very good and the food arrived very quickly. There was only sports on the TVs which wasn't desirable but didn't ruin the experience. Obviously do not have the tortilla soup if you are starving like I was! NOT AT ALL WORTH IT; the amount of msg made me physically ill! . 2 Stars solely for what appears to be a semi decent bar vibe! $15 down the drain!
