I love my local BJs Restaurant and Brewhouse for the extensive menu, variety of beer and mixed drinks and their Happy Hour menu. I really like the fact that they have a lot of seating and plenty of space in the bar area. The service is always good and the drinks are great. They even have a half-price wine night and a few other weekly specials. I like to have dinner off of the Happy Hour menu, sharing a couple of appetizers and a pizza. Their deep dish pizzas are delicious but honestly everything I've had at BJs is flavorful. We pair our meals with beer, wine or a margarita from the Happy Hour menu and we can leave feeling satisfied for around 50$. It is truly a really great deal! read more

Upon entering around 6pm on a Friday evening, place wasn't too busy and we were quoted by the hostess about a 15 minute wait for a party of 3. The pros is having a toddler, the outdoor area has connect 4 giant game board and jenga to keep your little one busy enough to wait for your table. About 10 minutes passed by and we were seated to our table. Our waitress was informative about BJs Rewards and the menu, and did a decent job attending us only con is that I was given a broken glass of Pepsi and when requesting another glass of Pepsi she did take a while to bring it back. Now the food, my wife ordered the Epic Five Meat Pizza with the Mikes Hot Honey and wow was that delicious perfect balance of crispy tangy, saucy pizza topped with generous meat portions and included a house salad. I ordered the smash burger which you can't go too wrong, it was ok nothing extraordinary. Now for the desert, my wife ordered the chocolate chip pizookie while I ordered the cookies n cream Oreo pizookie, rich in cookie crème chocolate flavor topped with vanilla bean ice cream I was a fan! The interior is decorated as an intimate brewery dim and you can see the beer tanks inside, what you expect at a BJ's Brewhouse, this meal deal is great however the general menu pricing here is on the the higher side. I came here because of their Dubai Chocolate items. I tried the Dubai Chocolate martini and it was very yummy. It was string, and just tasted like chocolate. The only 'Dubai Chocolate' thing about it was the kataifi crunch on the run of the cup. Presentation was nice but it could have been better. I also got the tuna poke nachos. It was really bad. It came with brown avocados so I had it sent back. They did bring back another one with green and fresh avocados, so that was appreciated. However, the tuna was super chewy and not cut up, everything was kind of clumped together. The only good thing we had was the bacon burger. I would say if it was the burger alone, I would've given a higher review. Service was great. Our server was very nice and was understanding when I needed the poke nachos sent back. For our meals we had the chicken Alfredo, slow roasted tri tip beef dip, and all American smash burger. We weren't in the mood for pizza. Let's start with the most disappointing dish. The tri tip beef dip lacked flavor and seasoning. Then the insult to the dish was the amount of au jus they served us. I'm not lying but it was like three tablespoons of it! The sweet potato fries were good though. The Alfredo was just ok. Just go next door to Olive Garden. The burger was the better of the dishes. We checked in and were told the wait time would be 25 to 30 minutes, which was also confirmed by the text message. However, we ended up waiting 55 minutes. During that time, we noticed multiple parties walking in, checking in after us, and being seated before us. These were not call-ahead reservations. We remained patient and checked in with the front staff a few times, but received inconsistent responses each time. We were told we were "next," then later that there were still several parties ahead of us. This experience was frustrating and unacceptable. Mismanaging wait times and giving inaccurate information wastes people's time and creates a poor customer experience. This was the Alamo Ranch location. This occurred on 5/2/26 around 6 PM. To wrap things up, I got the three-flavor Pizookie, choosing strawberry shortcake, Oreo cookie, and caramel. Went in Thursday 9/11 for my moms birthday (party of 11) Worst experience ever. She left in tears and had to go through the Wendy's drive through on her way home. Out of the 11 meals ordered, 4 were horrible. The chicken Alfredo and spaghetti were AWFUL. Tasted like they'd been sitting in the kitchen for 2 days and were reheated. We sent them back. Ordered a rib/sirloin combo. Ordered the steak medium. Came back well done. Sent back the steak only and guess what, the second time it also came back well done (facepalm) guess the cooks do not know what medium means. The steak wedge salad- ordered the steak medium. It came out well done. Hard as rock. Didn't bother sending it back. The appetizers were fine. Waiter- not his fault about the food but he couldn't keep up with drink refills. Waited 15 mins at a time to get refills and that's only after WE asked HIM for refills. Pazookies were the only good part of the evening. But having good food means nothing when the servers bring it out when it has clearly been sitting. We spend majority of the 2 and a half hours there waiting on our server. She did not check on us. We told her we needed a few minutes and she took 30 just to get back to us. She also forgot our to go dessert at the end and also made us wait even longer. This has been a common theme at this location whereas last time me and my partner waited over 1 hour 30 min for our server to come back and give us the check. We just ordered nachos. I'm quite fed up and unfortunately have lost a favorite spot of mine id recommend going next door to BB's or even Olive Garden which I am not a big fan of. read more

However, We had a very nice server. One disappointment I had was I ordered the margarita flight, and while aesthetically pleasing, all 4 of them tasted like they had been sitting with the ice for a while. Very watered down. Would not order again. My grandmother ordered the jambalaya, and it was super salty. The waiter even said that her own family usually orders it lightly seasoned because it is too salty. This might be my preference but appetizers should not be more expensive than a main dish. The food was good and the menu had a lot of variety which I appreciated. The calamari should not have been more expensive than the burger dish. That's the biggest reason why it can't be five stars. It was $80 and that included tip for calamari, a ahi tuna salad, burger, and cookie dessert. Like k said before, the food was good but wasn't so amazing for that price tag. The service was very good and the food arrived very quickly. There was only sports on the TVs which wasn't desirable but didn't ruin the experience.
