Not the worst certainly not the best. Service was okay, I give the server props because she took over our table of 15 which I know isn't easy. The food took over an hour and the appetizers took 50 mins. The server knew the appetizers and food took a long time, despite us being one of the only tables in the restaurant, so she took the appetizers off our bill which we appreciated. I ordered the grilled ham and cheese which was pretty good. I'm a sucker for a good grilled cheese, it would've been better if there was more cheese, but it wasn't bad at all. The spinach and artichoke appetizer was not the best. The chips were thin and the dip was cold. The server brought a new hot dip out quickly which was better, but I didn't like how the dip tasted like pure cream cheese. Overall, the place was okay. We are used to BJ's being slow but this location is next level slow. We arrived at 5:30 it's 6:45 have only seen 1 Appetizer... root beer delivered in hot glass after waiting 20+ minutes for drinks so now it is warm. Review of their menu look very promising. I was skeptical of the prizes as they seem to be pretty high. However, when I received my delivery order, it did not live up to the prices or quality that I was expecting. I ordered the deep dish pizza (make your own), the Philly sandwich with a side of cheddar mashed potatoes and the tomato, fresh mozzarella , arugula salad. So let's break it down from good to bad Salad was the best thing out of the order. it had a wonderful dressing fresh mozzarella balls and really good tomatoes Pizza was very small and not worth the $13.50 that I paid. They charge you for every item that you add to it after the cheese. As for it being a deep dish, there really was no crust on the bottom ...it was very thin. Now the philly... What I was looking forward to the most. It was dry. Overcooked. Claimed to be marinated, thinly sliced steak which as you can see by the pictures was not. Two of the pieces were at least an inch and 1/2 thick. Claimed to be served with fries which I did not receive. Definitely not worth the price. I am not one to judge a place based on one visit. We just came out from the movies that day we came here. Saw that some of our friends were having dindin. Told us to come meet them and have a beer. So we came, we checked in and now I'm doing this review. Theres brewery restaurants everywhere. Same exact equation as the other brewery restaurants. They're for them to be able to sell their beer product faster, they create a restaurant around it. So! Here goes. Shishito Pepperoni: it's quite an interesting dish. I like shishito peppers, I do enjoy the delicate taste, but sadly the pepperoni overpowered the whole dish. Not a very strong dish. Fried Cauli: This was my mightier of the two appetizers. Perfectly balanced and best paired with their beers. BJ's Zany Zitrus IPA: I chose this beer because it was their beer of the month at the time. It's actually a delicate IPA. It doesn't have that harsh hoppy flavor either. It's an easy drinking beer. I've definitely enjoyed my time here at BJ's. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying out their mains. Went in tonight with my family and it was very busy due to Homecoming for the local schools(between 430-5pm). The hostess, can't remember her name, was great with all the high schools kids coming, she was very calm and professional. Unfortunately, the management of this restaurant is in cahoots with either the Taylor police or local tow company (Area Towing and Recovery on Racho Blvd). I went to this establishment on Tuesday August 6th to grab a quick dinner at the bar with my friend. I had an order of wings with their peppered bbq sauce, and their inner city public school lunch brisket sliders. After spending around 2.5 hours and $70 there, I found my car to be towed. After going back and forth between BJ and Taylor police (who kept pointing the finger at eachother) , I FINALLY found the location of my vehicle. It was at the aforementioned tow yard. While at the tow yard, I was met with a $498.17 bill for an unrightfully towed car. I thought that this was a misunderstanding, and surely the Taylor police and BJs would communicate this to the tow yard (since they could EASILY PULL CAMERA FOOTAGE to see that i parked my vehicle and immediately patronized the establishment). However, I was met by a lie by both the manager of BJs and Taylor Police (who may have just been relaying the info from BJs) that my car was supposedly sat in their lot for "2-3 days". I can even present my bill for the subpar meal I had there, dated for August 6th. And again, I'm sure if they were supposedly worried about the vehicle, they could have pulled footage. Additionally, the police could have pulled a report to find out of the vehicle was stolen if that's what they thought. However, the police department stated they aren't able to do that. I've worked with a neighboring police department for ~8 years and I know that it's totally possible to check. This is why I believe this is a scam (very common now that tow yards partner with police departments). It's unfortunate that it happened to me, because I'm extremely persistent. I will get my $498.17 back and I will call regional offices and management until I do. I gave the restaurant 2 starts instead of 1 because the wings were lowkey fire and the bartender looked like a hot static shock (and provided good customer service) read more

Very decorated menu with many options to choose from. I opted to sit inside and grab something small while waiting for a friend at the mall, and wasn't disappointed. There's quite a few appetizers and the dinner portions are a couple of pages to look through. I decided on a salmon plate with a glass of white wine. The restaurant looks packed all the time, call in advance and make reservations if you have 4+ people. The bar scene is relaxed and they are usually playing sports. Stopped into BJ's for lunch and the menu is huge like a book. But we didn't have a great experience the wait time for food was long. The service mediocre and the food well it was food. The manager was very hospitable about the whole situation and did go above and beyond to make things right. Maybe we will give it another chance someday, but we have stopped into two different locations in two different states and both times the experiences were poor. So odds are unless we are totally hungry and can't find anything we will probably drive by. We will see but for now this is how the story goes read more

Not super busy, we were seated quickly. They don't have pitchers of margaritas but the ones we had were very good. We tried the peach, pineapple and coconut. The pineapple was my favorite, but they were all good. The nachos are ok, the plate is like a pizza Pan. They didn't have enough topping on the nachos, and I barely saw any chicken. Asian chicken salad was really good, it had a good amount of meat in it. Santa Fe salad was good, there was a lot of it in one serving. Avocado rolls were really different and we all liked them. My partner and I went there the day prior and didn't receive any service, we left and I called up speaking to the management team who quickly rectified the situation. We decided to give this establishment a second chance which they made up for enormously. Without even knowing that we had problems prior we received amazing service from our waitress Cheyenne (who is amazing and hope she receives that recognition). The management team quickly handled problems that occurred with the kitchen and compensated us for the time waited. Honestly we felt at home and the food was amazin. I like the atmosphere of this brewhouse. They have a tiered eating area however happy hour is not served in the dining area only the bar? This was strange to me and really the hostess should have asked prior to seating us if we were there for happy hour. The food is prepared nicely but is on the expensive side. I ordered the double bone-in pork chop dinner, domestic beer, an appetizer, and my bill was 32.50 plus tip. My date got a burger fries and domestic beer and his bill; $16.50+tip. $60 later it was an expensive dinner. In addition, the appetizer was cheese sticks. They were "cream" cheese not mozzarella? it was not typical of cheese sticks and I would have expected the server to let us know prior to selecting this option as I asked her "what appetizers do you offer for happy hour" This is when I found out they do not honor happy hour on the dining floor - this was a HUGE disappointment. We tried to make the most of our date and so we just decided to stay put and not ask to be moved to the other side of the wall our booth was adjoining....... to receive happy hour prices. Little crazy since we were all in the SAME building, breathing the same air, looking at the same walls....but I digress... let's get back on track :) Strikeout number two - The salad never came (they have food runners so the waitress never knew this as she never came back to check on us). We ate the weird cheese sticks off the serving plate together because we never got any side plates. Good thing my date and I get along and felt comfortable with one another. Soon after our dinner arrives and the "well-trained food runners" attempt to give our food to a different table. I spoke up as I recognized the order as ours. I never really am fond of "food runners" as they never know who ordered what and they are kind of awkward at best. I was hopeful our waitress would show up so I could let her know I did not get my salad and about 3 minutes later - well into the meal she did come back to check on us. I pointed out that I did not get my salad (she really should have noticed, since she never cleared any used dishes off our table how could she not notice the salad was missing). I had asked her all about this salad when ordering my meal and what comes on it when we ordered. So I was clearly excited to eat a salad. Her offer to the missing salad was to go get it now. My date said "well that's not really how it works when you order a "course" meal?" I went on "The customer is supposed to enjoy the salad before the dinner arrives. If I move to a salad now my meat will be cold"? she said - "I'll wrap it up and put it in a to-go for you" - I said "really?" she said, "you didn't pay for it so that's all I can do." I think they may have figured the cost of this salad in somewhere when determining the cost of this meal? I am 100% sure there is a value to this salad but it was date night so I just let it go. She packed it up in a bag told me everything was in there and the next day I opened it up for lunch and well - there were no toppings or dressing in the bag! Total FAIL! We tried this restaurant twice, the first dining experience wasn't great but the food was good. The second visit we had Melissa and let me tell you what a difference, we would ask for something and say, no worries just when u get a minute ( cause she was busy) but here she'd come right away with whatever we needed. Food was right this time which made it really good. I spoke to the manager s d let him know what a gem he has with Melissa there. This restaurant has so many choices. We had a lot of issues on this trip. Our lunch, which normally takes 60-70 minutes took over 2 hours. We waited a lot longer than normal for everything we ordered from beers to food to the check. The first round took over 15 minutes. Food took 45 minutes to be delivered. The second round of beer was quicker at 11 minutes. I started keeping a closer watch at that point. The check took another 9 minutes. Prices haven't changed. They are still above average. The food was standard. Aside from being extremely slow, it tasted good as usual and was still warm, so maybe they were just short staffed in the kitchen that day The beer selection is usually great and still was, sorta. It was vast but not exactly accurate. They advertised a new Belgium imperial ipa and when I ordered it I received a hazy new England ipa. I enjoyed it, but it was not even close to what was advertised or what I ordered. We also ordered a bourbon barrel stout and received the in house stout with absolutely no bourbon. Not a huge deal but we asked for a sample of the bourbon stout to at least try it. Wow, it had to be infected. It was absolutely horrible. I didnt finish the 1/2 oz sample they poured me it was that bad. I was very disappointed with this visit. I'm sure we will be back but probably not for a while.
