Worst Bjs I have ever been to!!! There are no price guns at self-checkout because, the employees say, people were stealing them. This in spite of the fact that they have an employee standing right in front of them at all times. Forget trying to go to a manned checkout! Only one was opened when I went during a busy part of the day. I guess management didn't want to miss the opportunity to punish their customers for their failings. Had a terrible experience with the employee supervising the self checkout. Was both extremely rude and unhelpful. I asked if I could speak to a manager and she said would not call for one, I would have to go find one myself. I asked another employee to see about calling a manager and she told them not to do it. I explained to a supervisor up front what had happened and he explained (although he probably shouldn't have) that they had many complaints about this employee! I did get a call back from an assistant manager later that evening who apologized and said that the employee had been reassigned and would not be interacting with customers. Again, why did this take multiple complaints? This store is in desperate need of new senior management. Until they can decide that helping their customers and creating a positive environment is important, DO NOT GO HERE!!! Take the trip to the Weymouth BJs where they actually seem to care. read more

Recently, I went to this BJ's and I saw a nice painter's kit with all the tools needed for painting a room. My husband likes to paint and this was a perfect kit for an upcoming painting project. The prices at BJ's were not bad at all, if I would had gone to a home improvement store, that same kit would had been about 30-50% higher. I could had also gone to a Walmart, but I think the quality from a BJ"s store would be better. Orders get stolen by the delivery drivers way too often at this location. Instacart cancels orders for no apparent reason and without warning, leaving the customer waiting forever. BJ's contract with them so they take the fall for it. Seriously starting to hate this place. read more

This is for the BJs in Taunton, MA. Everyone is very nice; the return policy is excellent. The tire department is very good, I take advantage of their lifetime rotation. Make sure you dial 5 when you call so you can make an appointment. The parking lot is big and convenient right off of the highway. On the other hand, the tire department at the bjs in Stoughton, was very different, I ordered tires about a year ago and I eventually had to cancel the transaction. They were understaffed. On an interesting note, their return policy is literally different and more difficult than the one at the Taunton store. Is less convenient. read more

This is my go to place when I am running low on things like bar soap and toilet paper because I can buy good enough sized packages of these products that will have me all set for a while. It is definitely one of your smaller BJ's locations so you may not find everything that you would in one of their larger stores but they do have all of the basics plus a full service deli and a bakery. I have bought some sweet treats before from their bakery department and they do put out some delicious stuff. The workers in the store always look busy stocking shelves and helping customers. The store is always well organized and this makes what I am looking for easy to find. And the checkout process always runs smoothly. The parking lot is spacious so parking is never a problem here. I've been here many times over the years and I will be continuing to shop here for a long time to come. read more

I called the Quincy, MA BJS store because I got some Purina Cat Chow Complete cat food there that made my 2 cats extremely ill one to the point of actual fatality . I only bought that new food because they stopped carrying Meow Mix! I asked for the manager and was told by the wise-guy who answered the phone that he was the manager, but 1. Never gave me his name, 2. tried to tell me that there was an alternative type of cat food there that I could've bought, 3. tried to tell me I could've gotten my original type of cat food at an alternative BJS store! I'm asking this man to consider my plea to remove that cat food Purina Cat Chow Complete from the shelves before someone else has the pain of losing a pet and his answer to me was buy Meow Mix elsewhere. This store initially had been timely in their response to Covid19 guidelines, but they are slacking and weariness has set in with employees. Entry aisle blocked with pallets of paper towels. Ordering from the app for deli pickup hasn't worked the two times I went this week. No clear area designated for deli line, so people constantly pushing their carts through so social distancing is not possible. Self-checkout lanes are not cleaned between customers. Staff is slow and unfriendly. Receipt checker stops me and cashier had not run up ketchup. Receipt check person asking me which item wasn't rung. I told her that's your job. The BJs at Crown Colony has the worst customer service imaginable. I have been here many times and have personally experienced and witnessed poor service to customers. A lot of managerial staff are incredibly rude and act as if they have no time to assist paying customers. The bottle return service NEVER works and there never seems to be staff working the same to fix the machine. Since moving here I have been strong armed into joining this sad imitation of Costco. It's cheaper than Costco but doesn't seem to have the great offerings that the competitor does. Things I like: -Good produce -Good meat and seafood -Discounted Gas Same as Costco....and the reason I resist these places are the huge carts and pallets of items that people are slowly pushing around blocking aisles and generally every single thing that you need to look at. As a rule I try a only leave with what you can carry rule so I don't have a meltdown being stuck behind hordes of slow moving shoppers. Although shopping with the BF has been ruining my game. My girlfriend purchased a box of bowl noodles and when I decided to opened the box to my surprise I thought it was my fault by ripping the box and damaging one of the bowls but looking closely you can notice little mouse bites then noticing more mouse bites on other bowls..... We shopped in BJ's Club 353 - 200 Crown Colony Dr. Quincy, MA on March 04 at 2:45PM. We used the self-check out (Reg 40 / Tran: 8847). The POS flagged for assistance on one of the items. We got to complete our transaction but couldn't finish the payment until the POS assistance was resolved. For more than 5 minutes, no one assisted us DESPITE there were 3 female staff at the supervisor's area chatting. Eventually, the male Front Lead tending the online orders assisted us. I approached the 3 female staff who were still chatting and took their names. I went to the customer service and complained that we were not assisted by the 3 female staff "chatting only". I told them one was a Front Lead. The customer service called the Front Lead. When the female Front Lead came, I told the customer service in the presence of the Front Lead that they should be paying attention to the customers instead of chatting. The female Front Lead denied that she was chatting and said that they did not see there was an assistance needed. Naturally, how could they see if customers need assistance when they keeps on giggling and chatting. Instead of apologizing for missing to assist a customer, the female Front Lead arrogantly argued with the customer. In the first place, she should NOT prevent the staff from doing their jobs by chatting with them as a Front Lead. As a Front Lead, she should encourage the staff to be productive and NOT idle. Cielo (Customer Service Manager) had to pull the Front Lead away as she was aggressively answering back. The Front Lead's name is ELENA. Obviously, she is new in the store. This is our first experience to see a LAZY and UNPROFESSIONAL staff in BJ's. Either she should be trained properly or be put in the back of the warehouse where she cannot be around customers. She has very POOR customer service skills. This was raised to the BJ's Member Care associate Tessa. Tessa just sat on the issue and made ping-pong emails with no real action taken. I doubt if the issue was sent to the Club Manager's attention, Jose Serrano. read more

I go here very often for a good portion of our household shopping. The buyer for this store seems to buy different food items from time to time, so that makes it interesting for a mostly mundane chore. If you don't like clipping coupons, you can go on-line and clip them digitally (they go directly on your card). The customer service workers are superb. Only a few frustrations: it's a smaller BJs, so doesn't always carry everything advertised in the coupon book (Weymouth has more). The samples are not very often and not always very interesting (the one in Dedham is much better). The deli usually takes a very long time to get a full order, other BJs delis don't seem as slow. Overall, I'll keep going here...it's conveniently located and has most of what we need to be well-fed. Glad they're here in Quincy. read more

Pluses: - I love that they offer many organic products, including their own organic brand, Earth's Pride for your everyday products. - Super affordable fresh seafood and my favorite is their wild sockeye salmon. This salmon is usually upwards to about $22-25/lb at any other supermarket but can be found here for around $8-10/lb. -The location can't be beat. It's literally down the street from me. I used to haul myself all the way to Weymouth or Randolph to do the same shopping. Minuses: - Why does it always take me at least 15-20 minutes to check out? For some reason, there is just never enough check out lines. - Not as many varieties in the products they carry than in other BJ's. When I moved from Medford to Quincy many moons ago I wasn't sure what I would do without a BJs to stop at on my commute home. Where would I buy massive amounts of paper products for my home? Would we perish without a box of cereal the equivalent of 3 boxes? We tried to find one near us but it was always a hike and eventually we let our membership expire. THEN I saw the signs! They were opening a BJs in Quincy! Less than a mile from my house!! I was skeptical. We had learned to live without BJs. Did we really need it back in our lives? The answer is YES YES YES!! Everyone knows that you can buy LOTS of stuff all at once at BJs. But one thing I need to mention is that this location, and all BJs in general, have the best meat dept. Every time I buy fresh meats or deli meats from BJs I am never disappointed . The only thing about this one is I wish they had the fresh kielbasa that I have found at other BJs stores GO GOOD!!! Nothing fancy about this BJs, no liquor, no auto repair/tire service, but it meets my needs for a wholesale club. We will never run out of TP again!!! read more

The lines can be painfully long on the weekends and the produce sometimes has fruit flys but it is always fresh. I like this BJs over cosco hands down. As a "local" I shop here on a weekly basis for all my family needs, usually Saturday or Sunday and I must say walking in and seeing Festus and Laura working together makes my day and my shopping experience that much more enjoyable. They are are smiling, laughing and joking which is a comfort on the way out the door after dealing with the crowds in the building and at the checkout. They are very helpful and have always "solved" whatever problem I have brought to them.Even when the desk is overwhelmed they are by far the Friendliest people in there and work very well together. Sometimes I don't know how they do it.
