I placed an order on the app and received several messages via text on the progress of my order last one being my order was picked up by DoorDash at 4:24 and would arrive @ 4:56 and then a text message that the order was cancelled and to call the restaurant. I called and they confirmed that it was not cancelled and was picked up at 4:24. The manager was an absolute doll and remade my order and delivered it himself, that is what I call great service. 1st time to this location...I gotta say, I was disappointed. The service was just OK and the food was pretty bland, all around. Our server was nice but we had to wait over 15 min for our waters, then another 5 for the straws and a water she forgot. Never checked on us and it was a pretty slow night. I came in with my son to get burgers and chicken fingers. The staff is very friendly. The food is decent. This is my only time in this restaurant, so I haven't tried everything on the menu, so my feeling about my meal shouldn't be a reflection on the rest of the menu. My only concern I have about the place is that the service is the extraordinarily slow. So slow, that I lost my desire to return here. What I mean by slow is that when I asked for the bill it took 10 minutes before I lost my patience waiting for my server and went to the front host to get it. I guess I could sum it up and just say that when you come here expect friendly service but it may take a while to get service once seated. read more

First time back at this restaurant in a year because - I'm a snowbird. Again - not a single complaint about the food or service. Ordered salmon with rice and broccoli. I requested the fish be cooked all the way thru. It was done perfectly. My friend ordered ribs (she ALWAYS has a ribeye). She liked the ribs but prefers a chewier slab. They were too "fall off the bone" for her but still tasted good. My only problem is that the restaurant is in need of a refresh. It's old school and dark. Perhaps a lighter paint color and dust off those chandeliers. But don't go changin how good the food is. And great staff. read more

We hadn't been to a Black Angus in ages & probably won't go again. Our grandson wanted a steak so it seemed like a good place to take kids which it was. The shrimp cocktail shrimp were WAY over cooked so hard pass on that. The complimentary bread was warm & fresh which was one of the best things we had there. Also the potato skins were descent. Garden salads were lettuce with 2 grape tomatoes on the side. Apparently they don't have much of a garden~ no cucumber, purple onion, carrot shreds? Came here for Valentine's day after a year of not dining out because of quarantine! The special included champagne (score!) The social distancing between tables was awesome and all staff wore masks and gloves. We were immediately seated as per our reservation time. Best thing about social distancing is better customer service and more attention to the customer. The filet mignon was excellent as was the lobster tail. Before leaving we were given coupon cards for $15 off next time we dined there- which will be soon! Felt very comfortable about their attention to CDC guidelines and keeping customers safe. Solid Steakhouse Value This place serves a decent steak for a reasonable amount of money. It's not a high-end, prime steak, but its a good cut of meat with minimal seasoning. They cooked it pretty much right on. I'm not sure how they prep the steak or what cooking temp they use, but it was a bit dry in the cooked outer area. The mashed potatoes were good. Real potato with minimal filler. A bit over-whipped, but still very enjoyable. Potato soup is ok. It is definitely from a factory, but not horrible. The starter bread is good, just sort of the best bread at places like Outback, Texas Roadhouse, and even Longhorns. It tasted a bit bland, with low flavor intensity, but I still ate a lot of it. Service was excellent to start but then tapered off towards the end. Solid middle-class service. The decor is a bit dated, but the high backed booths are nice and private - except when you're sitting right across the aisle from another group. It was well maintained, but a tier below Longhorns. Overall, a solid meal in a comfortable setting with reasonable service. I'll be back at some point, but I prefer Longhorns highly seasoned steaks that seem to always be more tender. Longhorns also has better bread and potato soup. The setting is a bit nicer at Longhorns and the service is just a cut above. read more

We went for our usual Christmas Eve dinner and much to our surprise a very limited menu, no chicken dishes whatsoever and only salmon, lobster and one shrimp dish. Instead of cooking for the holidays, my family and I place a take out order. On Christmas Eve 2023, I placed and picked up an order then went home. After checking the bag, I saw that the two lobster tails for the meal were missing. I was irritated because I had to venture out again in the traffic. Called the restaurant, spoke with the manager and explained the lack of tails on the order. The manager(I unfortunately don't recall his name) apologized and asked me to come back in. I go back into the restaurant and the manager came up to me. He apologized again and told me that he was making a fresh meal and gave me gift cards for the inconvenience. Although I went in frustrated, the manager was extremely kind and understanding. It's easy to write a review for bad service, but it's also important to recognize when someone goes above and beyond. Best experience from start to finish! This place does social distancing the right way! Had amazing spinach and artichoke dip, steaks cooked to perfection for my family, and their sides are fantastic too. Very solicitous service (thank you, Lisa) spending generous time with us to assure everything was the way we wanted. Had the 12 oz. ribeye steaks with baked potato, broccoli, macaroni, french fries ($30 with 2 sides; $6 beer, $10 Mai Tai, $8 Mud Pie). Simple meal but everything tasty, good portions. The experience was great. We called before arriving to see if they had room and they just told us to come! By the time we got there they already had our table waiting and ready and met us before we could even say anything! Went to the arrowhead location yesterday and ordered the feast For two. I did an order for pick up with no menu and the hostess who took my order was so sweet, patient and helpful. Did not feel rushed or that I was bothering her... She was so helpful and I can't thank her enough Shaun the manager was there when I picked up my order and I can not thank him enough for answering all my questions and help it me through the payment. Tonight there was a slight mixup so I called the restaurant directly to try and see what could be done assuming nothing could be since I ordered through DoorDash. You know I'm actually disappointed that I'm giving this one star. I was craving prime rib and for the price Black Angus can't be beat! But today the service was absolute sh*t. My reservation was at 6:45pm. I did not see my food until 7:43pm in a pretty empty restaurant. My waitress in my whole hour & 1/2 visit my waitress visited me 5 times, to get my drink request, take my order, drop off my appetizer, drop off my food & collect the check. I watched her deliver consistent & friendly service to the surrounding tables and awkwardly walk past my table trying extremely hard to not make eye contact. What started off as a great night for me was smudged by my lack luster service. It almost felt as if my being there was a burden to the waitress. Now I don't give my waitstaff a hard time because I'm aware that they are people too and sometimes we all have an off day. But frankly I wish that she would've either given my table to another waiter or just flat out told me to leave. The food I waited an hour for to top it all off was cold! The well air conditioned room was warmer than my prime rib. The food felt like it was also waiting an hour for me! I bring it to my waiter's attention, not an apology, just a "you want another one?" I declined the offer because I'm not waiting another hour for her to ignore me. The service here isn't 5 star restaurant but it's not as egregious as it was today, but after seeing the level of service afforded to my neighbors & then receiving cold food. Despite the shitty service I STILL recognized that she needs to make a living & left a decent tip. I hope she treats EVERYONE kindly, however I just don't see the value in repatronizing. read more

It's been a while since my family and I choose to go out to dine in at a restaurant, we usually order for take out. It was a great experience and glad we chose this location (as usual). Front of the house quickly seated the party that arrived before us. I was greeted by Travis and had asked if we have a reservation, we were not aware of it and apologized. Travis told us not to worry and could fit us in by 8pm but most likely sooner than that, note that it was 7:40pm. Less than 10minute later, we were called and seated as Travis had mentioned. Lisa was with our server and I wish everyone was like her. She constantly checked up on us. There was a delay with the bread and she gave us an estimate of how long until it'll be out and just like Travis, we got our fresh out of the oven bread within minutes. We got the house sampler as an appetizer and she had asked if we wanted the chicken tender to be without Buffalo sauce since our little one was wanting chicken. Strip. NEVER has anyone went above and beyond to make a suggestion like that. She kept an eye on our drinks and made sure to bring us refills when it was low.
