They do not care about you. The dealer sold for third parties a bike that I was in the process of buying. I did down payment and get bill of sale. The bike should be a gift surprise to my wife that fallen in love after months looking for a specific profile that fits to her pilot. They promised that the bike would not kept for sale after that payment, so already mine. The seller (Anthony) asked me to come back just 2 days later because of his day-off. After these two days, we have been exchanging emails for several times, including the manager, Tyler, and we had scheduled to go to the dealer to finalize the purchase and sign the financing agreement. On the same day at night, near 10pm, somebody else left a voice msg on my phone, apologizing that the bike had been sold to another customer one day before. Run from that store. They do not have the slightest care with their customers. If someone wants to pay more than you, they sell. Now I have lawyers handling the case. read more

Horrible service. DO NOT drop your bike off for collision service. I brought my bike in for service on a Friday and was told it would be done early next week. I called every day of the week for an update. Sometimes I was put on hold for up to 30 minutes. Everytime I called , I was eventually told that my bike would be looked at "tomorrow.". It's now been a week and I still have no idea what is going on with my bike. The shop is run by a bunch of morons. Stear clear of these fools unless you are looking for a bike upgrade, which they will do immediately to secure the parts sales. read more

My dad brought his bike from here, so everytime I go to this location all of his information is in the data base and they assist in helping me pick out new add on's for his bike! This place is on point! They meet/exceeded all of my expectations of a dealership. No "hard-sell, high pressure tactics". The sales people (Heather/ Bryan) actually listen and make recommendations not based on what commission they will make but actually what will work best for the customer! I have purchased two bikes here and will continue to go here for all of my motorcycle needs! The merchandise people (Jessica) were more interested in how I was doing/what was I looking for than just sell sell sell. Parts desk guys (Nic and Jessie) took the time to go over all the options available for what I was looking for (new seat, mirrors). Service guys, same as the rest of the place, (Zach, Ryan) willing to take time and explain things (I'm new to motorcycles) and happy to do so. Just stay away, the service here is horrendous. Employees are unprofessional, incompetent and rude. I went through them to order merchandise, and they never notified me when the items were available for pickup. I randomly showed up to see what was taking so long and some of my stuff was there. I had ordered a leather riding jacket.....about a $500 jacket, and they handed it to me all wadded up in a bag and said the rest of the stuff was not there. No explanation, just not there. A few weeks later, I stopped by again and the rest of my order was there. Never received a phone call or email. Several pair of jeans were as ordered, but the boots were the wrong size. The box had the correct size but the label on the boots had a different size. That was several weeks ago. Called again today, was told no boots. No explanation. When I pressed further they put me on hold and miraculously found my boots. This place is shady at best. I'll be making the 40 mile trip to American Eagle H-D from now on. *****UPDATE***** I met with a store manager and feel as though the issue will be addressed. It pains me to write this review, but it needs to be done. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, however this place is special. So just to give a little about myself, I'm a recently medically retired Army Staff Sergeant of 14 years. I discover this place online and was blown away by the remarkably affordable bikes that they have available. This place is well stocked, has a great selection of bikes, and the staff seem to be very nice...... at first! But don't let that fake smile fool you. I was lied to several times upon visiting this particular establishment. I allowed them to try and ruse me longer, but I was taking mental note. The finance manager, (I can't recall his title), but his name is Jeff, verbally guaranteed me that I could get the bike I had my heart set on, but that wasn't the case. Long story short, I have bad credit, I accepted a deal that needed a quarter of the cost of the bike as down payment, I provided that down payment. Afterwards I was told that I needed to put down more, over 75% of the cost of the bike. I didn't like this deal so I was very disappointed and angry. I asked loudly if I could get all my paperwork back and anything I signed back. They did not like that. I was given a few documents back. Then I was asked politely by a "head manager" (little Caucasian guy about 5"3', stocky, tattoos, and clean cut), to go outside and speak with him. The little guy calmed me down and assured me that he only wanted my business, and appreciated that I was at his dealership. He told me, looking into my eyes, I am trying to help you out by taking a hit from the bank, they are adding an additional 2,500 to the price because my credit was too bad....So he asked me to put 2,200 down and finance over twelve thousand. I looked at him with shock and refused the deal for a bike that was selling for 8,399. Here it comes, the straw that broke the camels back! Without cursing or being violent I request all my documents again, and he gets angry and tries to kick me off the premises. So I get on the phone and call the local authorities (I was not going to leave without all my documents), and this itty bitty man with napoleon complex yells over me as I introduce myself as Staff Sergeant Joseph Romano to the dispatcher with, verbatim, "NOT ANYMORE!". Well naturally it got me even more heated and I had to remember that civilians with little intelligence know nothing. A young officer (CPL Savage) arrives to the scene in minutes, greets me with a great attitude and appreciation for my cooperation. I tell him the story and he helps me get my documents that I wanted. I am no longer welcome at this Harley Dealership (Harley-Davidson of Dallas), but I'm glad I am, because I no longer am a Harley rider. I switched to any brand other than Harley!!!!! Please be careful when going here. If you want a good price and you have the cash in hand, this is the place to be. But if you're a veteran and want to be treated with respect and not lied to, I'd suggest going somewhere other than this place! Dysfunctional Veterans are my family, and we deserve better treatment than this! So now I am no longer a Harley Rider! Thank you Harley-Davidson of Dallas, located in Allen, Texas! I just had the best customer service experience at this store! I live out of state and called the store to purchase a gift card for a family member. They were very helpful and mailed the gift card to the address I provided. Unfortunately two days later, I found out it was the wrong address. I contacted the store again, and they were able to help me resolve the issue. They took care of it quickly and communicated with me via text until everything was settled. I've shopped in this store in person before, and they've always been very helpful. But today Rebecca and her manager were amazing. I'd like to share how Marsha assisted me to help make my dreams come true. I got back into riding three years ago as a goal for turning 50 after not having ridden since my college days. I had a Ducati Monster and traded it for a 2004 Harley Sportster last year and had an absolute blast last summer. I got hooked on the Harley and my husband and son, who never rode, got hooked as well. My husband bought a new SuperGlide and we traveled all over Minnesota on weekends. By the end of the riding season, I knew I needed a bike that was a step up from my Sporty and wanted something configured more for touring. I'd always loved Street Glides and thought about that route but they seemed quite large and heavy for my smaller sized frame. While visiting Dallas last weekend to see a friend, we all wanted to head to the nearest Harley store to get souvenirs. Marsha promptly greeted us, asked where we were from and if she could be of assistance. I told her my dilemma and right away she asked if I would consider the Switchback with a fairing. One sit on that beautiful Blackened Cayenne bike and I knew my dilemma was solved. I was not aware that Switchbacks could be fitting with fairings and were meant to be a touring bike as well (hence the name!). As luck would have it, our local Harley dealer in Elk River, MN happened to have the exact same bike in Blackened Cayenne. Marsha gave me the name of the custom part company and part number for the fairing. The bike is bought, the fairing arrived today and I'm in the process of arranging for the custom paint. We're in the midst of a relentless deep freeze here in MN but March is soon upon us so let the thaw begin. Bike season really can't get here fast enough. My only regret is that we don't live closer to your dealership to keep our business there. We love our dealer but we really appreciated the time and personalized attention to our needs that Marsha showed us. If it weren't for her, I truly suspect I would have ended up with a bike I would be second guessing for years to come. Thank you for allowing me to share my story. In speaking with Paul the "owner", he was not interested in doing what was promised except for a tank of gas and a wash. Really?..after nearly getting killed on I-30 due to their negligence. Definitely not customer service-oriented nor was any ownership taken of the multiple issues we had. I will say we just bought another brand new bike from another dealer and had a most wonderful experience from top to bottom. We still recommend steering clear of this business. I'm a new female rider and this dealership was recommended by a friend in my pistol league. I'm a single woman and have dealt with salesmen & contractors who try to mansplain everything and don't want to answer specific questions or concerns about a product. I deal with that buying guns, and when I bought my Jeep Wrangler in '93, remodeled my house and built a garage. I was fully expecting that patronizing grin and being told what I SHOULD want. That did NOT happen at this dealership. My salesman, Mark, was phenomenal! He answered all of my questions, shepherded the whole deal and made sure proper credits were applied for some upgraded gear I had swapped off the bike. He spent time with me and I never felt rushed or pressured or dismissed. I am always welcomed with a smile and a hug from him as well as from Carla who helped me out with motor clothes & accessories. She went WAY beyond the call of duty getting my helmet to me and that made a huge impression. I live in Burleson and drive by 3 other HD dealerships to get to HD of Dallas. Funny story...I've been out of riding for almost 8 years and I broke down on my Yamaha R1 behind of Harley Dallas. Normally pushing the bike would be no problem but I'm still recovering from a severely broken tibia. I called the guys from Maxim Honda-Yamaha and told them I was very close and it would be awesome if they could have one of the techs help me push my bike to the shop (I was just I their showroom and it was packed full of employees goofing off because it was the end of day) Anyway they told me everyone at Maxim had left and basically I was SOL. I accepted because I felt a little awkward asking anyway because that's just my personality. I began to push ignoring the pain in my leg. As soon as I made the turn one of the Sales guys from Harley (Nick) saw me from a distance and came running to my assist. He grabbed my bike from me and pushed it over to their shop. I've never been more grateful. He brought me water as he could tell I was exhausted. I was invited in the showroom and the staff was amazing. They were there to help. Very friendly and accommodating. I still needed to get my bike to Maxim and Nick got the go ahead to help me push my bike next door. I told the man I owed him for his generous action and he said we are FAMILY and we take care of each other. Moving the story along, I've finally made the decision to "can" the rice rocket and go the way I know which is back to a Harley. I was blown away by their attitude and customer service gesture that I received. I'll be going in next week to see what these guys can put me in. I'm taking my business here just for a simple quote I live by... "Character is what you do for people who cannot offer you anything back." This seemed to be the case that day. I've been waiting to buy a new bike and finally went this location. The bike I wanted was right on the floor and I was ready to buy. On Harley's web site the sticker price of the bike was $15,500, plus $390 for freight and $375 for "assembly." Ok, fine. however when the sales manager provided me with the final numbers, he had inflated the price of the bike by $1800.00 and wanted $2000.00 fir freight and assembly. I told him no, I'll pay sticker. He said no so I left. I went to another dealer a half-hour away who had the same bike and bought it for sticker (MSRP), four thousand less than HD of Dallas wanted. How this dealership sells a single bike with those inflated unjustifiable prices is beyond me. read more

Keep in mind when shopping here that they do NOT accept returns nor do they give refunds on any merchandise. I bought my dad a jacket for Christmas and he already had the exact same jacket. Too bad for me, they don't give refunds. My husband bought a helmet last week that ended up having a defect in the chin straps. They won't take it back or refund his money. I dropped off my bike to have both fork gaskets replaced. I came back several days later and when they brought out the bike I immediately noted that a red warning indicator light was on. I immediately got the service technician who agreed that there must be a problem somewhere. I told him that there was no warning light when I brought it in and noted that on my service report they noted some deficiencies but nothing was noted about the warning light. He said they would be happy to hook it up to run a diagnostic for $150. I asked if the dealership would pay since the problem seems to have occurred in their possession. He refused to do look into the problem or do the diagnostic for free. I had an appointment so I had to leave but soon called to speak to the service manager. After leaving two messages I still have not been called back. A few days later I left to ride early and realized that the headlight is no longer working. Due to the unprofessional response from the service rep. and no response from the service manager I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Note that the sales people sure are friendly but once you own the bike these guys are not friendly at the service dept. read more

This place is great! Seriously, I was treated like family by everyone there. They went above and beyond for me to find what worked for me. I don't remember everyones' names but I do remember all their smiles, handshakes, conversations... Tyler is phenomenal! He can show you all the new and used bikes, tell you all about them and even find one from somewhere else if he has to. He also does the financing stuff and understands unique situations and what will help. He works hard for you every minute! Annie is the one there who got me there! She kept in contact with me and got everything arranged before I even walked in the door. She was fast too! Very friendly person. Jose' was so nice. He showed me how stuff works on my bike and took the time to answer all my questions. Shane in service was amazing! He took me in the back where they were working on my trades and getting my new bike ready. He really loves his job you can tell! He explained how the pipes work, the engine, what I should be looking for to take good care of it, how much stuff costs and what all your different options are, let me know what my best choices were right now with what I have, etc. He really took time to teach me. He never once acted like I am any different being a woman who loves to ride big bikes and know all about them! He is very cool! And not pushy either. I would trust him for sure with upgrades, maintenance, repairs... Anyway, I am so glad I went to this Harley cuz some of the others I have been to were either just so-so or even worse. I definitely feel confident in giving this place 5 stars and recommending them to anyone looking for a new or used Harley...or even needing gear, upgrades, repairs or maintenance. fantastic. we went in for an oil change and the hubs baby was whisked to the doctors office in a quick way!! we were assured that she would be well taken care of. i was meandering through the clothes, amazing...its like a whole nother world in there. wonder why some of those girls think that the shirts for a size 4 girl work for everyone??? i was greeted by a darling girl named amanda. what a help she was and so pleasant...plus her and 4 other people loved my matte pink head gear! go me! woot.... i found a great little hip purse, baggie, holder thingie...it clips on to 2 belt loops for riding purposes. amazing how dry my lips get when we ride, perfect place for burts and marissa! woot...oh and some smally saline bottle. hub came in with a survey that netted him a $25 gift card + $50 card from purchase of new bike...$$$75 beans = shopping fun! girl is done and bathed, we pay...receipt from the fantastically helpful and personable svc dept says $262.00 whoa for oil??? but wait! we paid $24 cause hub got some maintenance plan! score one for the boys... all is well and we get out for $32 smackers. always a pleasure to visit here. read more

Well folks, it's always nice to share an experience with a business that is a pleasant one, and such is the case with my recent experience at Harley Davidson of Dallas, located in Allen, Texas. I had played with the idea of selling/trading my 2011 CVO Road Glide and updating to the newer frame and engine offered by the 2016 models. For giggles, I stopped in is past Friday and looked at what I though would be the right choice for me ... a Street Glide Special. As soon as I made it through the front door, I was approached by an employee who asked if I had any questions. It turns out that the gentleman was Tyler, the Business-Manager. You couldn't ask for a nicer guy than Tyler. He introduced me to Chris, the Sales-Manager ... another super nice guy. Tyler, Chris and I talked about what I was trying to do from in regard to a bike trade and finances. I told them I would be back on Saturday to see if we could make things work. Saturday at HD of Dallas was nuts! The place was slammed. The HOG club was represented by a booth, there was food and music ... and LOTS of folks just visiting and looking around. I connected with Tyler, who was running around faster than a rabbit during hunting season. We were able to make a deal work and then came my list of add-ons that I wanted to get done ... before I left the dealership. At this point, Tyler connected me with Jason ... a true parts guru. Anyone who has worked with a parts person knows there are two types of parts people. Those who know how to use the computer to help you find what you're looking for. And those who just know every part like the back of their hand, and consequently can really help in making the best selection for your application. Jason was just such a parts guy. Obviously he knows his stuff. Off my bike went to service and after a few hours, with several HD of Dallas employees checking on me during my wait time, Zack from Service comes to get me and go through my new bike with me. The new design, high-tech in dash infotainment system may require some patience, but man is this a nice bike! So, my hat's off to Tyler, Chris, Jason, Zach and the other folks who I can't recall their names, for working to make my new purchase a very pleasant experience. Called in to schedule a Dyno for my bike a week and a half prior to my scheduled appt. Was told by Jimmy we open at 8. Arrived today at 8 and not only was Jimmy not there, Shane had to share bad news that the Dyno truck was overheating and someone should have called me to inform me but they might be able to do it anyway. No problem, how long to start I ask; "Oh well the Dyno guy doesnt get here until 10AM..." I chalk it up to poor phone communication and come back at 10am thinking there would be progress. I got the run-around for another 45minutes to determine the "status" of the dyno and no-one seems to be able to reach the Dyno tech. I pull the plug and ask to speak to the manager Sean...and can you believe there is no manager on duty at 10:45AM on a Monday?! I was shocked at the unprofessional and general dis-interest or concern for customers. Shane, seemed to be the only who wanted to be there; while other hello's or nods went un-acknowledged. This was my first time to this Harley shop for service and I can safely say it will be my last. There are plenty of others who seem to bend over backwards for CSAT. DIRTY SCAM ARTISTS in my opinion. Purchased a Fat Boy S (and another bike for wife), after completing all docs / contracts and getting a loan as well as insurance on the bike, they refused to release it to me. Over next 5 days, they lied telling me "bike was sold to someone else" and refusing to get me another same model, wanted me to accept a Fat Boy Lo from year prior for same $. When I said no, they magically had the bike there but owner begged me to pay $3500 more!!! Losers. I had a sales contract signed off by several of their staff! After the owner himself called me several times and did a liberal whining job (the poor me, I'm a small dealer only a small millionaire), I was so sick of them I threw another $1k at the moron because I didn't want to deal with it anymore even though I didn't have to legally. All this after the greaseball sales manager literally arguing with me and told my wife I was incompetent for declining the $2,000 PER BIKE wax job and year of oil changes bullsh*t package they tried to shove down my throat. I will NEVER walk in that place again. I'd rather drive to Milwaukee for service than go there. HAHA, they say I have the wrong shop! I think not! Of course, my disclaimer. I am not stating this as fact, but of only my opinion and my perceived recollection of events protected by the first amendment. I purchased a part from this dealer and was told I would have to modify it to work on my bike. The sales person marked 2 places on it and told me to drill out the holes and thread new plugs int them. I did exactly as I was told and it wouldnt work. I tried to return it and was told I shouldnt have listened to him and it voided my warranty. HD of Allen was VERY helpful, work hard on my trade [even if it was a metric] . I had a budget and would NOT go over that amount . Everybody help out from sales manger to service manager.
