Super funky little spot in the back of a liquor store. The Café part of the name is a bit mIsleading as there is no seating. It's just a take-away sandwich shop with sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and salads, as well as some sides. We were a little disappointed there wasn't a spot to sit and having to eat in the car between appointments, but it wasn't a huge deal. Service is excellent. Friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. This is a review for their breakfast burritos- I've come here before for their sandwiches and they're not bad. Tried the one of their breakfast burritos for the first time today. It says it includes egg, hash browns, avocado, cheese and bacon. I was super disappointed in it- it was by far primarily egg and hash browns. Pretty much every bite tasted like that's all I was getting. If that's what you like, you might not find it that bad. My main issue was that there was barely any bacon in it- just a miniscule layer of paper thin bacon on one side of each half of the burrito. It might as well not have been there, I've never even seen bacon that thin before or gotten so little in a breakfast burrito that includes it. The avocado was also a very thin layer. Cheese was lacking in both amount and flavor. If you're a breakfast burrito person, I'd pass on these. read more

I was able to place an order through the Yelp app right before they closed. Thank goodness! This is definitely my new sandwich spot! It is located on the northwest corner of Camarillo and Whitsett. The guy who made the sandwiches was a delight and the sandwiches were so good! We got the Pesto Chicken Panini, which my mom loved! I got the Tuna and it was so fresh and delicious. I would ask for no cheese next time but other than that I wouldn't change a thing. Loved it and will definitely order from here again. Plus I really need to go back and make up for the tip I didn't leave because I didn't have any cash and he really deserved it for making these great sandwiches and being so kind in a city where that feels so rare these days. read more

The cafe has a great selection of food options. But this sandwich is my new favorite! It's a 3 minute drive from our home and there is decent parking. Their food is so delicious. I had tried this spot a while back when I ordered delivery with my partner and we were in AWEEE. Probably the best, most flavorful sandwiches we eat. The bread is toasted perfectly, it isn't toasted to the point that you'll scratch the roof of your mouth and gums AND it's not soggy; it's a perfect crunch. Stopped in at the liquor store and saw they had a cafe. Figured I would give it a shot and was pleasantly surprised. I got the Avocado Toast which comes on a toasted French roll. This is genius because it doesn't get soggy and can hold the weight of all of the toppings so it doesn't fall apart or need to be eaten with a fork. It's also great because it gives a nice contrast in consistency so that it's not all mushy. The avocado is generous and not just sliced and placed on the bread but mushed up and spread on which prevents it from sliding off in that annoying way that other avocado toasts can be. Also the arugula and za'atar add a nice balanced tangy flavor. Added bonus too, that the ladies making the sandwiches are really nice as well. I love this place! The staff is amazing all around. My daughter and I have been enjoying it since it first opened. My favorite is the chopped chicken salad. It's so delicious and huge! It takes me a couple of days to finish it. My daughter loves the BLTA and the tuna sandwich. Today I had one of their new juices, The Dwight, which is made with beets, apples, oranges, ginger, carrots and lemon. Just what the doctor, or Lucky, ordered. Delicious!!!!
