When I had that first bite of the Beef BBQ Rib, I was floored. I'm pretty sure I took one bite and was just speechless, I'm not trying to exaggerate. The beef ribs were flavorful, juicy, tender, and fell right off the bone. I couldn't ask for anything more. The mac salad was good, it didn't taste like the mayo was too heavy for me. It tasted nice and light. And I had a couple bites of the Chicken BBQ, it was just as delicious as the beef ribs. Also the portion size was amazing. I think I'm a little partial, but the Beef BBQ Ribs definitely altered my brain chemistry. They were that delicious and I'll be thinking about these ribs for a long time. We made a reservation for seven and arrived a little early. We were told our table wasn't ready so we opted to grab a drink at the bar while we waited. The patio was busy on a Friday and the bill from the previous party was still on the table. The waitress came over within five minutes to grab drink orders but left the bill on the table. She took our order for an appetizer- the salmon poke special- and our dinner orders- two shrimp Louie salads and a side of French fries. In the future, I know Emory's will be a good spot to enjoy a drink and fries for a patio sunset view after a bike ride or a paddle on the lake.
