    Steak sans cream sauce
    Kristen A.

Husband and I decided into try this place with my father in law after an impromptu google search. We both had the cowboy club steak. Both of us asked for medium and mine was definitely more medium well and was super tough to cut through. Still ate it because I hate being the person to send food back unless it's catastrophic. I got the blue cheese cream sauce which tasted fine but was thick and solidified over my steak quickly. Could be because they forgot to actually put it on my steak so I ended up getting it on the side. I also got a side of broccoli with it and I appreciate they actually gave me a good amount of vegetables. The staff was friendly and attentive, but the waitress got into her groove while clearing our table and took my father in laws cocktail before he was finished with it. The servers were pleasant though and the place is nicely decorated and not too noisy. The whole experience was a bit bland and we all agreed we could have gone to Texas Roadhouse for the same experience.

Old school retro style steak house. Not fancy, very laid back. Pepper steak is tasty. Good portions and prices.

The atmosphere was nice and our server was wonderful!…read more Notes (mostly to self): *The Flo's Filet was good but maybe not enough to warrant the price, I'd probably try something else if I came back. A few pink spots (I ordered well done) but not egregious. *I didn't love the mashed potatoes, they were a bit cold and had a flavor I didn't quite recognize or vibe with. *The parmesan-crusted fries were a bit much, the cheese and toppings didn't pull apart easily and it was hard to eat, plus the crema sauce had an almost mustardy flavor I didn't like (the same would be true for anything "parmesan crusted") *The table across from us ordered broccoli and the smell was enough to fill the room...I know broccoli can have a strong fragrance but it seemed on the edge of having gone bad although the eater didn't seem to mind...it may have been a fluke but it scared me from ever ordering broccoli here in the future haha *The caesar salad flavor was fine but had some texture to it (garlic, parmesan, etc.), I didn't finish it but would order again. *I was hoping for the molten lava dessert to be a bit more flavorful, warmer, and melt-in-your-mouth (it was almost a bit chewy/spongey); nonetheless it was a fun treat! I enjoyed my experience and feel satisfied despite my aforementioned grievances (which I mainly leave here for my own future reference). :)

We were seated immediately even though the place was semi-busy, which was a great start to the evening. Our server was phenomenal -- she kept our drinks full the entire time and was quick and attentive without being overbearing. Service like that really makes the experience even better. I didn't order a traditional appetizer, but I did get the loaded potato soup -- and wow. It was absolutely delicious. It had hearty chunks of potato, plenty of cheese, and was perfectly creamy. Topped with bacon and chives, it was served nice and hot (but not so hot that it burned your mouth). Honestly, it was perfect. For my entrée, I ordered the steak and shrimp. The steak was cooked exactly how I asked and had great seasoning. The shrimp were phenomenal -- flavorful and cooked just right. I also loved my sides; everything on the plate complemented each other so well. Of course, I had to finish the night with dessert. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake because cheesecake with strawberries is my favorite. It was rich, creamy, and indulgent. The strawberries were sweet and topped with that classic strawberry glaze that just pulls it all together. Overall, dinner was amazing, date night was a hit, and we left with full bellies and happy hearts. We'll definitely keep coming back!

It was 105 degrees outside and the pavement just holding that heat and reflecting it back to bake all life outside. So naturally, when we arrived at the restaurant taking escape from the heat, another couple chose to sit on the unshaded patio. Martians! No other explanation. But from the cool cool inside by the window we had the most delicious dinner! First they had you a hilarious number of menus, I think there were no less than 7. However, appetizer, drinks, food all superb! The mussels were unique in like a sweet buttery teriyaki sauce. With excellent bread atop. For my cocktail I got the white sangria, and that was one delicious and stiff drink. Raviolli was the only vegetarian entree and though I wish I had more options, loved it. For dessert we ordered the goat cheesecake, and that was an experience... for one it was crustless and did taste very goaty, the sauces on it were the best part though. Should you get stranded in Loveland with aliens, I highly recommend Door 222! The whole area looks like it's going through a renovation and should the weather be slightly less than scorching, seems like a lovely area for a stroll!

Everyone enjoyed their food for the most part, however some plates were much cooler than others. I understand the logistical difficulty of preparing 7 entrees simultaneously so they come out at the same time; but my short rib meal was lukewarm at best. Flavor-wise however, no complaints. The menu is pretty diverse, with options for every palate. Good for groups and families. Parking is street only and first come, first serve. Not a bad spot - I'd recommend them if someone was in the area and looking for a good meal.

When we arrived at the complex and pulled into the massive parking lot area, there were about 5 or 6 children riding their bicycles in the lot by the ice cream shop and Farmhouse restaurant. I don't know if they lived in the area or what but it was odd and so we had to park kind of instead of right by the restaurant to avoid hitting them. When two of us walked in, we got there 15 minutes early and were hoping to enjoy a cocktail at the bar before being seated at the table. The bar only has 4 seats and it was full. The host responded, "the cocktail will taste the same at your table as it would at the bar", which came off as kind of arrogant and dismissive. Anyway, we were seated right away upstairs as our table was ready ahead of time. Our table included a bench seat against a brick wall with a few small pillows and 5 chairs. The seating against the wall was quite uncomfortable. When our entire party arrived and we ordered cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I'm giving 3-stars for food because it was hit or miss. Half our group liked their meal and the other half did not. We all agreed the best thing we had from the menu was the tiramisu dessert and I really enjoyed the small garden salad, which was actually a generous portion and I liked the radish included! I also want to say thank you to our waitress for not kicking us out when the restaurant closed, she let us enjoy our time together without making us feel rushed.

She was so helpful and answered all our questions about the menu and restaurant. We decided to share the nachos and the prime rib stroganoff and it was the perfect combo! The nachos were cheesy and flavorful and the stroganoff (which was thoughtfully split for us into two separate bowls) was so creamy and yummy with lots of prime rib. Per our server's suggestion, we finished our meal with the Sopapilla Cheesecake... OMG! Not too much cheesecake, a flaky pastry bottom and a crispy, cinnamon-y top layer. SO GOOD.
