Fun times at Blake's! Stopped in on a Sunday with a big group and enjoyed the Denver Beer Co event! They were giving out raffle tickets for each Denver Beer Co beer we ordered and we got to spin a wheel to get some brewery merch & coupons! Service was friendly and timely and the patio space is great!

We Love Blake's Taphouse!! They have great prices, amazing food, and very generous portions!! The staff here is absolutely amazing and to top it off it's a great family environment!!! It is truly hard to find a great establishment that has a family friendly environment with great quality food on any given day, it doesn't matter what time it is Blake's is always a wonderful and welcoming experience. On our most recent visit we visited Blake's for my daughter's 5th birthday and we couldn't be more satisfied!! The service was great, the food was outstanding and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!!!

    Happy Hour flight time!

This is my second time visiting this restaurant during a trip to Colorado. Great selection of locally brewed craft beers! We stopped in to have a flight before heading in for the evening. The weather was beautiful and great to enjoy the patio. Our server was knowledgeable and helped finalize beer flight selections. Great place to grab an appetizer and flight. Would recommend for dinner, a quick first date meet up, or dropping in on your way someplace else. I'll definitely return on my trip to the area!

    Ultimate Burger and Tots
    Adam M.

Big fan of Blakes, I've been multiple times and will continue to come back. The burgers are really good and the beer selection is pretty solid. I have tried just about every burger they offer and each one is solid. I do love getting the Taphouse Sauce for the tots, that's the must-order item for sure. I'll surely be back and looking forward to exploring some other options on the menu and there are so many options that sound really good!

The burger that I had was overcooked and lacked flavor. I expected a better experience when paying close to $20 for the burger after tax and tip. The burger doesn't even come with a real side dish. If you want to be entertained and see what type of person owns this establishment, read his replies to other 1 star reviews. It is always the customers fault for having a bad experience based on his feedback. Update: Rob, The attack on others and myself that leave unfavorable reviews speaks volumes about the type of person you are. People should read through your responses to bad reviews and then decide if it is a place they want to support. Your approach to bad reviews is to bully and berate the customer instead of trying to see if there is a way you can improve the business. 1. The basic review that I left explained I had a over cooked burger and felt the quality to price ratio was not in line with my expectations. Your response is that I should eat at McDonalds? How can anyone take you serious when you don't know me and you are just assuming I do not know what a good burger is? 2. You are accusing me of being a keyboard warrior for leaving an honest review of my experience on yelp. Are you serious? Yelp is a platform to share experiences even if they are not positive. 3. The funniest part of your feedback is the part where you mentioned you appreciate feedback from guests but you are more grateful for an owner that calls out the BS with people like myself. Narcissistic much? You actually admitted to appreciating your own actions over customers feedback. Update 2: Rob decided to delete his feedback so I am attaching his response.

Salted caramel espresso martini for the win!

Run. Do not stop, well maybe to park, but you MUST try the caramel espresso martini after a delightful beer and burger! Best dessert ever! No pic of the beer but we had the Juicy Bits which never disappoints! Burgers are damn tasty too!

Excellent lunch and service! Hubby had the honey orange ale and ultimate burger. I had the vanilla bourbon cider (SO GOOD) and the bison burger. Will definitely visit again the next time we're in the area!

Bruschetta is delicious but I felt one of the four pieces was very small. Flatbreads and hamburgers are awesome as well.

We spend part of the year in Erie, Co . Blake's is one of my favorite go to places near our house. Food quality is awesome and service is excellent. The decor is cool and yet remains welcoming. Beer selected is excellent as well. My only knock is menu is limited and a bit pricey. But you won't be disappointed.

Perfectly fresh, perfectly fried, and somehow managing to strike that ideal balance between a crisp, golden exterior and a rich, melty center, they absolutely blew me away. Every bite tasted fresh, hot, and made with care. I kept waiting to find a cheese curd somewhere in Wisconsin that could top them--and honestly, I never did. I've eaten cheese curds from places that Wisconsinites consider legendary, and Windfall's still sits at the top of my list. If you're a cheese curd lover, do yourself a favor and order them. They alone are worth the visit. Five stars without hesitation, for the food itself. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the service. We've had a few waitresses who came across as rude or dismissive, which takes away from an otherwise excellent experience. That said, the food always comes out very quickly, and the cheese curds are genuinely unforgettable.

Not worth the wait. It was dry. The onion rings were okay though. I should have left. Not coming back.

The sound and the joy gave off such a great vibe immediately when walking into this establishment. This review is based on a sit down dinner and a take out on another night because our sit down was so good! Here's all that we tried: POST CHEDDAR BISCUITS - hot and cheesy - these were not as flakey as they looked like they were going to be. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS - sweet and spicy peppers, garlic mojo, cotija cheese | *a portion of sales from this item go to Zero Foodprint -- an org working to combat climate change in the food & beverage industry - these were good, great crispiness, char was flavorful and the sauce was sweet and tangy. Subsequently, I made a hash for breakfast with leftovers from here and these proved to be GOOD flavoring. GREEN CHILE BISON SAUSAGE BOARD (LAFAYETTE) - Rock river bison sausages, hard boiled eggs, dill pickles, bread and butter pickle relish, baked baguette, peach honey mustard - I'm a sucker for charcuterie, the bison sausage was so delicious, I ordered another after we finished the first. This also went into the next day hash! FRIED HALF CHICKEN - our famous gluten free fried chicken, choice of side, pickles, and a biscuit - ordered this on or second visit (takeout night) and did not regret a thing. It was fantastically fried to crispy perfection. The chicken was juicy and tasted like they brined it in pickle juice. CHICKEN TENDERS - all natural tenders, breaded and fried, served with ranch - good chicken, also went into the hash. OG POST BURGER*- american cheese, bacon onion jam, special sauce, griddled sourdough english muffin & fries - good burger, personally, I'd appreciate better cheese! QUINOA & KALE - quinoa, kale, arugula, roasted sweet potatoes, pickled red onions, roasted tomatoes, cucumbers, toasted sesame and sunflower crunch, lemon tahini dressing - the dressing MADE this salad, good job Chef! PUEBLO GREEN CHILE MAC & CHEESE - nothing spectacular, I would have liked this with more green chile and a better cheese base. The parking isn't a lot, but it didn't seem like people had trouble at all. We walked. It's a great little neighborhood restaurant. As I said early on, it was tasty enough to warrant a second visit!

TV's over the bar are impossible to watch from the bar if you're not an Owl and have a double joint neck. They're located at 90 degrees ABOVE the bar?? Owners have strategically placed the one TV in the bar over the sweltering patio to maximize glare, so nothing can be clearly seen. But good news: you can lower shades, YOURSELF to partially reduce the glare! Why can't management do it? Maybe they're not getting their cut from the $20/cheese burger?! Maybe they're too ignorant to know The World Cup Soccer Finals are playing? Atmosphere is horrible for watching sports. Prices are absurd, and service beyond taking orders is absent. She snapped at me and said one tab for the table was all needed for the table. I kindly requested more firmly that I'd appreciate my guests open their own tabs. The server replied sharply that their policy required only one tab to be opened and upon closing the tab I could split the tab with my guests. In that moment I chose to preserve the atmosphere in front of my friends , family, and my 3 grandchildren and let it go. Upon calling the manager on Monday, I spoke with Lisa. I was caught off guard with her defensive nature saying, I was wrong as I should have asked for the manager. Again, you think I wanted to create that type of energy in front of my friends, family and (ages 7,11, 13) my grandchildren. We were there to celebrate my nephews birthday and to listen to J Blackburn. The whole situation was offensive. The server may have the authority to manage the tabs but not to define my worth and certainly not the authority to diminish my voice (as you did as well upon my phone call). Must all be part of your protocol. I made a reasonable request and the server chose to decline it. I believe my request should have been honored - although the server who may have been busy, overwhelmed decided to follow what she believed to be easiest on herself in that moment. And Lisa, your defensive nature during our phone call didn't help. As you reviewed my bill with close to a 12 beers you again caught me off guard with your defensive nature. Lisa, sadly you never communicated you understood my position as the customer making a reasonable request, and again made sure to defensively communicate we received 2 free refills of soda (for my grandchildren) and the Arnold Palmer refill I was drinking being the DD. I was not questioning the outstanding service I received from the server who collected my final bill - I am mainly stating you have a server on board who communicated horribly and rudely as a server. You have to know exactly who I'm talking about as she stood out as a disgruntled server. That is not my opinion but of those at my table. Lisa, you ultimately never credited the dozen beers (or partial credit) that I clearly did not drink nor was anyone left at my table when I paid my bill.

It's actually quite easy to miss with Teocalli having way more business just one street down. It's got a lovely interior with lots of wood and a nice rooftop patio. Walking in, I wouldn't think much of it. The menu is relatively simple with some appetizers, salads, hot dogs, sandwiches, and some other things. Where this place shines is their bacon, and by extension their sandwiches. Multiple people I've gone with have said the JGBLT is the best sandwich they've ever had. It's certainly up there for me, just behind panino I've had in Italy. It's nothing complicated, but each part of the sandwich is so well done that the finished product is understated and overwhelming. So good. It's also the perfect portion, every time. It doesn't seem to matter how hungry I am when I come in. They have an excellent beer list with lots of things to choose from. The whiskey menu is absolutely insane, and the whiskey flights are necessary to digest it. A small thing that is really nice- their sodas. It's not just coca cola or Pepsi products- they have craft sodas, which are really excellent. Additionally, you can get their non alcoholic cocktails for the same price as just a soda, which is lovely. The daily specials are always fantastic and a good way to get something unexpected. I will be extremely sad when I have to move from Lafayette, as this restaurant is one of my favorites in the world.
