I haven't been there in two years, and now I remember why. Nice ambiance, if you want to people watch at the small bar. What place that serves pasta takes 50 minutes to serve pasta? Went to the town square to look around and came across this little pizza place!! S-P-E-C-T-A-C-L-A-R. The margarita pizza is flavorful and crispy and perfect. The thing that will really bring me back was our server, Claire! From the start she was spectacular, introducing herself and she was very knowledgeable about the menu and extremely personal! Let me start by saying that Blanco is short staffed in most places. They do not have at this location what many from a large city would expect in service, or options. They cater to their people, so an understanding of how Blanco as a community would help in the idea for those coming through. There were there people there working, the staff were all friendly, a little slow, but I won't knock them for this one. Our pizza was actually made the way I like it, with a nice char on the crust, crispy. It did have a little flop to it, but it was still good. The price of the food is not bad either. Our pizza a 16" was 18 $ USD, being a carnivore pizza, it was full of the variety of meats you would get. The garlic knots were 5$ USD, and for that price, the knots alone could fill two people. They have a nice little selection of beer, and they have some wine too, but I cannot comment on that. If there is Shiner Bock, then I say they have a good selection. The building was warm, of course it was 105°F (40.5C) outside, and where the pizza was being made warmed the building up. I didn't mind, as it was still cooler inside than outside. Overall, I'd come back to this location, most people in Blanco are friendly and down to Earth, so its always good to support local businesses. read more

Hardly any toppings! This was $40 for $10 worth of pizza. I wish I had some frozen pizzas instead. I would have contacted the mgmt directly but they're just on FB, which many of us are no longer part of. The Margherita pizza had a good thin crust, but just a slop of under-seasoned tomato sauce, a small slop of mozzarella, just a sprinkle of fresh basil. It was just tasteless. I added to it the best I could at home, but I could barely eat a slice of the bland pizza. The NY pizza also was barely topped, had hardly any meat, the olives were in random small piles. Again, lacking flavor & volume of toppings. The way the toppings were so poorly applied suggests that there are teenagers who don't care & who need competent management. I realize the awful effects the inept dem govt has had on small businesses, with jacked-up prices & supply issues, but a biz still must be creative in adapting to the challenges in order to survive. read more

I've always wanted to stop and eat somewhere in Blanco. Stumbled into here and wasn't disappointed. The pepperoni pizza rolls were so good. Very large portion so we took a lot of them home and ate them. The large chicken Caesar salad was really good and I would order it again. The chicken Alfredo was missing a little flavor so I'd skip that. We will definitely be back for some pizza. read more

Craving pizza and decided to try here. Some average reviews and some good ones thought we would try for ourselves. Larger than it looks from the outside, the building is a shotgun style with plenty of tables inside and on the porch outside. Small bar as you enter with plenty of local beer on tap....gotta love Real Ale brewery. Greeted and were sat promptly with our choice of table. We decided to get a New York style 12 in pizza with split choice of toppings. Also ordered spaghetti and meatballs to which our server indicated the sauce and meatballs were housemade. House salads and garlic knots to round out the meal. The positives: the garlic knots were wonderfully hot, buttery and garlicky. Served with a fresh tomato dipping sauce. The pizza was fresh and delicious, even warmed up great the next day. The service was terrific. The not so great- the evening sunlight streamed through the front door you could see multiple Dusty shoe prints on the floor as you enter the restaurant. It was disturbing in that it didn't look like the floor had not been mopped for quite a while. Equally concerning was the amount of dust on the wall next to the booths. A little bit of attention to the dining area is in order. From my personal taste, again my personal taste, the salad was overly dressed with a nice Italian dressing. Just a hint to ask for it on the side unless you like a lot of dressing with your salad. Regarding the meatballs and spaghetti, while yes it does seem that they were house-made, they seemed like they were House made the day before. Anyone who's eaten leftover ground beef a day after you know it takes on a slightly altered flavor, which is what these meatballs had. This is a great little place for local pizza however the service we got from Amber was horrible. She is very rude and she must be some sort of manager the way she treats the other employees. OMG, best pizza rolls ever!!! The just-right garlicky, buttery dough, the oozing mozzarella and flavorful pepperoni....in heaven. First time here at this charming little place in Blanco and we're so glad we tried it. Homemade marinara sauce too! Hubby had a meat pizza and he said it was very fresh and tasted great. Got chocolate cake to go and it looked amazing! You have to stop by if you're near Blanco. Way better than anything in Dripping Springs. It will be our go-to pizza place! read more

Visiting and this place was recommended by family. Pizza was great and I enjoyed the meatballs and garlic knots. Meatball sandwich was big! Highlights was the taste of the food, but it was over shadowed by the flies and gnats that were flying around and bothering us. I'm unfortunately unable to give a 1-star or a 5-star review because we were turned away during open hours. Our family drove several miles to this restaurant, after a high recommendation, just to be turned down. We arrived at 5:00 PM on Sunday when their closing time was 8:30PM, and they said, "sorry, we are closed." I went back in because me, my husband and daughter are so hungry, and then are told, "we're just low on ingredients." So, I'm sure their pizza is great, by unfortunately we were unable to experience it (after driving 30miles OMG). We found ourselves in Blanco on a Sunday afternoon and decided to go somewhere to get a beverage and possibly a snack. First, I totally did not see the sign for this place but a passenger did so we turned around and went in. It was a little dark and empty but we were greeted and could see a window way in the back and the 4 of us sat at an available table. The waitresses were attentive and took our drink order (good selection of wine) and upon seeing another table of customers getting some great looking food we decided to order something more. I ordered the soup of the day and appetizers and the others ordered a side of meatballs and salads. Let's just say that the portions were generous and very fresh and tasty. I saw others getting deep dish pizza and was jealous. Our total tab for 4 with tax and tip was just above $75. We ended up taking a to go box of food. Now, this place could use some lighting, better decor, restrooms and signage BUT the food is fantastic and plentiful and priced very well. I will tell my friends about this hole in the wall pizza/Italian place at the back of the square in Blanco. read more

Stopped in with our golf team, 13 people, and stuck my head in the door to see if they were open at 3:56. One of the employees said they didn't open till 4:00, so I said, in four minutes? The same employee replied, we wont be ready by 4:00 and didn't know when they would be ready. I told her I had an entire golf team and were they sure they weren't interested in serving us. She replied, if you're going to be rude they didn't want my business. Everybody was a little shocked at her reply so we went to to Old 300 BBQ and received excellent service and had some great BBQ. I want to love this place because it's all we have in town as far as pizza goes. But tonight I got a margherita pizza which I paid $5 extra for more cheese and tomato. It cost $18 plus another $6 for a draft beer. Pizza was small. Barely enough for one person. Also the extra toppings I paid for were not visible. I think it's a classic case of being the only game in town: they can get away with being mediocre. But I want to challenge them to be worth the price. read more

The New York pizza is pretty good for a small town. The Italian dishes are also pretty good, although the sauce is similar on most dishes. The place is very informal has a great "funkie" vibe. The staff is attentive enough but not hovering. Beer and wine only. Prices are reasonable. I recently moved to Blanco and it's my go to for pizza. read more

Delicious pizza , located in a easy to find strip downtown in Blanco. They carry a nice variety of drinks and have an outside patio. Great atmosphere and they have specials.
