Love love how consistently good the quality of the beverages Blank Street produces is across their stores. The cherry glaze matcha is something to write about for ages to come. The baristas were super duper nice! Shout out to the one barista who complimented my digivice, it made my day to have someone recognize it. There's really good energy in this location and so I'd 10000% come back! This location has seating in the front (2 tables with two stools, a bar seating area on the front window with a couple of stools) and seating in the back (3 small tables with three single chairs and a long cushioned seat). read more

Blank Street Coffee has locations in NYC, Boston, DC, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, and Cambridge. I recently visited this NYC location to grab a coffee before a walk. They definitely seemed to have lots of matcha options, but they made me a great cappuccino. It's tiny - just a few seats, so it's best for those on the go. Service was friendly and fast. Not a bad place to stop for a cup of coffee. read more

We decided to try this spot after grabbing bagels across the street but unfortunately did not care for the drinks overall. The matcha quality here is so good! It's super smooth and rich with definitely enough matcha flavor. I had seen this place in London a few times but never got the chance to go, so figured I would try it here in New York. This particular location is really nice - there is a good amount of seating in a nice open space. I got the banana bread matcha, which was a limited special. It was really good! It definitely tastes like banana bread, with not just the cinnamon and spices flavors but also the banana. Part of me thinks I might enjoy the classic matcha even more, but this was fantastic. The oat milk was nice and creamy and you could still taste the matcha through it too. Highly recommend this spot, and this location in particular for nice seating! read more

The matcha is fine, the customer service though??? I work in hospitality. I've also worked as a barista, who ever are the two girls that works Monday August 11th, so cold to me. I always come in welcoming and loving because I know how it is to deal with customers, I felt like there was no point in me even saying thank you, one woman behind me, said thank you, and the girls didn't even acknowledge her. I was asking my barista for something and she didn't even bother to look at me acknowledge me. . Also random day they were closed earlier than they were suppose to read more

We were walking around before our Edge experience when we spotted this small but quite functional coffee shop. I ordered a flat white. It was a small serving size but the flavor was amazing! It was smooth with absolutely no bitterness. The service was friendly enough. The price is fine for what you get. There are just a few seats outside to sit at. Other than that it is a to go place. Their service is top tier, and their coffee is actually one of the best I've had. Music is amazing, not too loud where it quiets down convo, but not too quiet as to where it has awkward silences. We just wandered in here by chance and saw the reviews were around 4 so I wanted to try this coffee shop. The interior was very modern and cleanly. The staff were attentive and kind. Blank Street 830 Third Avenue Who's tired of my Blank Street Coffee reviews. I was in this neighborhood and checked out this location. It's just like most all of the locations I've visited. I keep trying the coffee and I decided my taste buds must fluctuate. Some times it tastes better than others. Customer Service is always great no matter what location you visit. I've been to a Blank Street that recently opened in my neighborhood and some locations do have additional breakfast items. Since this is a new location maybe they will eventually expand their food selections. I just get the coffee. The place is clean and is a convenient location near where my doctors office is relocating. I'm sure I'll be back. read more

I been noticing new coffee shops that are what I call minimalist because they have the minimum it takes to be a coffee shop , coffee machine, cups, a few food items, a computerize register, two workers, hardly and any decord and some with no tables or counters preventing you from hanging out in the shop. Blank Street is one of those places, The story goes that two guys started business out with a food truck , But don't be fool, these guys are backed by someone with big bank, $$$ because they are spreading all over Manhattan and Brooklyn now. They and cafes like this are new competition for Starbucks , priced higher than DD and McDonald's and less than Starbucks , but they also are with a lots less options to pick from too. Like they only had five or so food items when I was there, three of which where your typical coffee shop croissants. The coffee I got was OK, and I also had a mini apple cinnamon bundt cake and it was soft , fresh and real good tasting, for like $7 for everything. There website is awful and not user friendly so download their app at your own risk. read more

Friendliest staff of a midtown coffee shop yet! Super attentive, kind and caring. They ran out of the strawberry latte and they immediately issued a refund and correction without us asking! Top notch customer service. We opted for the brown sugar cold brew instead and I've drank plenty of cold brews almost daily, and this was THE BEST! It was smooth, not bitter, easy to drink and the perfect hit of flavor! Must try for all the cold brew drinkers! read more

Service is not good - too busy gossiping to greet and wait on customers. Not good, very unwelcoming vibe. When a customer walks in, and there's no line, I shouldn't have to wait for you to finish your gossip conversation before anyone even looks up to say hello. Doubt they're any more attentive to the coffee they make. read more

Not a fan. Ordered a brown sugar shaken cold brew & a pumpkin spice latte, both with oat milk. Neither tasted like there was any coffee in them! The pumpkin spice was perfectly seasoned, but again no coffee flavor at all. It was disappointing & I will not be back. read more

This is a new place that opened up by my office, so I thought why not check it out. When I walked in my first impression was what a beautiful space, and then immediately the barista gave me a warm greeting and made me feel very welcome. All good feels. I got a filter coffee to go and it's great, this might replace Little Collins as my favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. read more

I'd actually passed by this place multiple times but had no idea it was a cafe. This shop itself is more of a grab-and-go, but it might still take a while since all drinks are whisked and made to order. There isn't really space for a line to form inside, so you may need to wait outside to order (there's also a bit of a lack of room to wait for your drink once it's ordered). My strawberry matcha came out to $9.25 total, which is pretty pricey, so I expected a lot. In total, it took me around 10-ish minutes to get my drink with about 4 people in front of me. At first it took a while for our orders to get taken since the two employees were focused on getting drinks out ASAP, one person was preparing the syrups and milk, and the other was making the matcha. The matcha itself had a nice green color. I've had many strawberry matchas prior to this, and based on my experience, this place was alright. The strawberry syrup was nice and not too sweet, but I wish there was a bit more flavoring or more of it, as after two sips I couldn't taste the strawberry at all. Overall, it's a nice shop with cute trinkets around and their own products they sell, like matchas and tea sets. However, for $9, it was a lot for what the drink offered in my opinion.

The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. It was easy to get to walking down from the Bryant Park area. When we got there it was busy, but not too busy. My wife and I split a slice of chocolate mousse cake. The price is just right for the perfect size slice for sharing. On our prior trip it was a lot busier and it took a while to get a seat so we could eat. This time it wasn't as crowded and we were able to sit right away after getting our slice. On future trips to New York we'll definitely have to come back and try some of the other items available.

If you are on the socials, then no doubt you've seen this viral NYC coffee on tap spot. I love trying coffee spots so I knew I had to visit. I hopped on the train and got there around an hour after they opened and the line was only about 15 people long. They take your order while you are waiting in line (it's a to go spot so no seating), and things move quickly. I got the salted caramel with a croissant and it was smooth creamy but not heavy and not too sweet perfection...the chocolate almond croissant was great but quite small. On my second visit I decided on the bergamot honey latte--again it see very good...the bergamot is there but not over powering. This time I got the banana bread and it was superb! Take your coffee and treats to the park across the street with benches. You can people watch and enjoy your morning coffee!!

It was busy, so after paying, you get a cute ticket--hand it to the barista for the viral latte!

I also really appreciate that they offer a gluten-free bun. The burger and fries were a satisfying portion without feeling overly heavy. This is a casual spot, but it consistently delivers delicious food at a reasonable price. If you are looking for a classic smash burger in the neighborhood, I would recommend.
