Never thought to come in, since I thought it was a coffee place, turns out to be an Australian store. I came in thinking my friend wanted coffee though after checking the menu, decided on an Aussie Iced Chocolate. The employees were efficient and prompt. After trying it, it wasn't bad though we were wondering what is the glob of white items floating in the cup. The glob was ice cream. They had sandwiches so have to check out out. After shopping at the NBA store not too far from here it was still super early in the morning and I needed an iced coffee to cool down as it weas already warm out, plus a snack to get energized. No major complaints. A bit pricey as this chain can be. Staff was nice enough. Decent coffee. read more

Really disappointing experience. The service was painfully slow, especially considering how ridiculously expensive everything is. I wouldn't mind paying premium prices if the quality matched, but the food was genuinely bad and absolutely not worth what they charge. This cafe is spacious and clean and the cashier was friendly. I ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte and Chai Latte and both were delicious. The chocolate chip cookie was chewy and made the perfect snack. Definitely will visit this cafe again! read more

I go in the mornings and I've only ever had the BEST service... the morning staff are the best. And love my moment to chat all things Knicks all year long. After having a great day in the city, I headed back to the train station. I stopped into Bluestone to order an ice coffee. The person taking my order could not of made it more obvious she didn't want to be there, Nevermind take an order. The attitude, lack of eye contact, and dismissiveness was clear as day. Saw an eye-catching poster about their unique matcha variations that included blue lavender and strawberry. Decided to go with the blue lavender and it was better than we expected. It had a nice touch of sweetness to it with the authentic taste of matcha. I was surprised to see that they also had brunch and lunch items as well. The barista didn't take long getting our orders in and the ambiance of the cafe was great. We were one of the first 100 orders for coffee, so we got a free hazelnut chocolate bite that was tasty. I was in the neighborhood & have wanted to try Bluestone for a while now but the location by my job closes early so I never make it in time. This was the perfect opportunity since this location doesn't close till 5! I already had too much caffeine in my system so I decided to go with the iced golden latte which includes turmeric, cinnamon & ginger! It comes with almond milk but I swapped for oat! I was kind of scared that it would taste terrible but it surprisingly was delicious! This was by far the worst coffee I've ever had. We wanted a simple iced americano with cream and sugar, they don't allow you to add your own cream like a normal coffee shop and the first drink was hot and tasted like watery cream. The drink was re-made iced, and was sour and creamy ice. We then asked for simple iced coffee, or now third attempt and it tasted like sour burnt coffee beans. Best advice is find a genuine coffee shop with cream, sugar, and a decent expresso shot. read more

Service here is always friendly and helpful. There is usually some amount of seating every time I've been here. It's admittedly not the best place to get work done, but I've managed to do it a couple times here, so definitely not out of the question. Coffee is also decent and the baked goods are fine as well. I haven't actually ordered any food, so I couldn't say how that is, but everything else is fine. We came here because my son is Celia'c and needed gluten free options. They are in the same case with other pastries, so if you are worried about cross contamination, this isn't for you. The banana bread was good. We got 2 iced mocha lattes, they were very chocolatey with little coffee flavor. My biggest complaint is the AC. It was hotter in the shop than outside. The place looks run down and disheveled, only went in here as other establishments were packed and I needed something to eat right away due to my blood sugar. Ordered my food and another review from the same day (12/28) can attest the staff does not care one bit about your time. the worker took his sweet time talking to his co worker, who was nice, and even chatting with customers who walked in 10 minutes after I ordered, wasted both mine and his own time, whom chatted up a storm distracting him from making the most basic flavorless food on earth. They were "local guides" that were at this bluestone location "every week" but somehow didn't know they ordered from the wrong location to pick up their drinks so he decided to stop what he was doing (making my order) to make their drinks (even though I had been waiting quite a bit at this point) and told them to cancel their other drinks to get a refund and drink he made them would be free. Every time he turned around to try to finish my order they would ask him questions and distract him even further. I waited in there so long my family waiting for me thought something went wrong, almost 25 minutes. I don't know if this should be a review about those "local guides" who clearly aren't so local, or if it should be about the worker at this point. read more
