This place is amazing! Everything on their menu is delicious, especially the burgers hands down the best burgers in town. It is a family owned restaurant, clean kitchen, and has a amazing staff. I had their grilled chicken breast sandwich on pita bread and it actually pretty tasty. I work nearby and usually went to Brandys but after trying some the menu items here I probably won't go back to Brandys. The wait time might seem long but hey if they are making fresh fries and a fresh meal for me the extra 4-5 minutes are no big deal! Very satisfied and staff is attentive. Ok, I hardly ever do reviews but I saw this place pop up as I was looking for something else and had to take the time out to review this place. Honestly hands down, you could not find a better place for great, quick amazing food! Their fries are almost ALWAYS perfect (I'm a fries before guys kinda gal). Everything I've ordered here has always been really good. Wasn't crazy about the grilled chicken sandwich (could use a little more flavor) but overall was still good! Staff is PHENOMENAL! The owner is always there and is SUPER friendly. We had an issue one time out of the many times we've ordered and he was right on top of it and corrected it. I 100% suggest stopping in and trying this place out. The prices on everything is not something you can beat! read more

I had to go to the DMV today and that means..Bring back lunch! So we asked a co-worker if he knew of someplace different nearby. He highly recommended this place. All of us had burgers with fries. OMG simply amazing!! They grill it your way. I ordered medium rare with grilled onions, no cheese on a tasty bun with fresh cut fries. My co-workers had the Merkts cheeseburger and fries and the Bacon burger. The price was great with the "Lunch Special". When I arrived to pick it up, they were just packing it up. NO pre-cooking here. Hot right off the grill and stayed that way until I arrived at the office. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is now our "Go To" place for burgers. Really unhappy with the dry bacon burger ordered as medium, greasy cheese fries, crumbly Italian beef with very spicy sausage combo ordered to be dipped and it was dry. We ate a little then tossed it out. Perhaps it was that it was a delivery, arrived 45 minutes after ordering, I inquired if it works be hot when she told me about an hour, she said yes. The restaurant was supposed to be open for another 22 minutes when I arrived to pick up the order I placed. When the employee saw me, he tried to tell me they weren't serving food anymore and waved me away. I still opened the door and told him I had an order I was picking up. Apparently he did not want my business. Had I not already paid for my food, I would not have given them my money. The Italian beef was the worst I have ever had. The meat wasn't cooked well at all and it was not seasoned. It tasted like meat boiled in water. I will not be back, which is unfortunate to them because I order takeout often and I pay a generous tip on pick up orders. They have fresh cut fries which are good and the milkshake is good as well. That doesn't make up for the bad service and nasty Italian beef, though. I'd say they're a 1.5; I am rounding up. read more

First off, I must say the service at this place was exceptionally friendly. I feel bad writing a bad review because the phone and delivery service people were very nice. I ordered a burger and a salad from this place. The burger was inedible. I ordered it medium, and got it burnt to hell--a little meat hockey puck. It also had this strange flavor that I can't describe, as if the burger retained the taste of something that had been grilled right before it. The cheese was akin to nacho cheese and unevenly spread at that. I liked that they used romaine instead of iceberg lettuce, but that was the only good part of the burger. I would recommend avoiding the burgers at this place, unless you like your buns injected with disappointment. Some people are into that, so to each his own. The salad was supposed to come with garlic bread, didn't get it. Can't say the salad was bad, but how can you really f*** up a salad? Other people I was with ordered gyros and said they were "eh." If you want good Chicago gyros on the NW side go to Nick's. Overall I was sad because I was hungry and could't get past the first few bites (no worries, it didn't go to waste because my dad will eat a shoe if you dress it up nice, though he agreed it was funky). After passing this restaurant a few times i finally decided to stop and give it a try. When I went in staff was very nice and patient. I explained it was my first time and the girl at the register was very helpful in helping me decide what to eat. They have a good size menu alotta variety which I like in any restaurant. So i ended up ordering the philly chicken with fries...First off I think they have some of the best fries i've ever tasted. Needless to say my fries i was supposed to eat with philly chicken sandwich never made it home haha. When i got home my philly chicken was also done right and very good...Highly recommend this place to anybody. read more

Fries weren't what they were made out to be from other reviews. They were of the same quality of 5 guys, lol they were still ok. The Philly was okay, was too pricey for the size and taste of it. Meat was pretty dry. The young lady was more attentive to the older gentlemen that was working in the kitchen than her counter. Customer service was ehh. read more

I have had the pleasure to have lunch from the Blaze N Grill a few times and have never been disappointed . Just had the polish Maxwell street style and have to say these guys know what they are doing . I have lived in Chicago all my life ,which is a very long time , And have eaten a lot of Maxwell Polish. I have eaten at the now gone Jimmy's original on Maxwell, and must say the Maxwell polish at Blaze N Grille is as close to the original as possible . The right bun, the sausage grilled perfectly the proper mustard, and grilled to carmalized perfection onions. The steak sandwich is out of this world, and one of the best hamburgers for a fast food establishment. For a dollar or two more than Mc Donald's you can enjoy a fresh and delicious meal. Hand cut fries vs frozen is a treat you don't see anymore. Keep up the good work because I will be back and back again . read more

I stopped in there this morning for breakfast. They had a 50% off promotional coupon for their introduction of the breakfast menu and hours. I arrived at 10:26AM and the only customers there were an older couple. I ordered the Mexican Omelette ($6.99) and a large orange juice ($2.00) plus tax ($0.51). With the 50% coupon, my bill should have been $5.01, I was charged $6.01. In other words the proprietors are scamming when they claim the 50% off promo. The staff seemed very new, disorganized and inefficient. It took a literal eternity to receive my food, the counter girl didn't even know where to get the orange juice. The Mexican Omelette is supposed to contain chorizo, jalapeno, onions, cilantro and cheddar cheese. The omelette I received was greasy, overcooked and orange in color. It contained no chorizo or cilantro. The hash browns were likewise overcooked, burned and greasy. The toast was okay but was served with no butter and only country crock spread. The ketchup in the table dispenser was disgustingly watery, like it was watered down to save money. The inside air reeked of frying oil which really killed the atmosphere. I was never asked if I wanted the optional buttermilk pancakes when I ordered either. All in all, this is the first Yelp review that I have written and the reason I am writing it is because of how irritated I am with Blaze-N-Grill. My stomach was queasy about an hour after eating there and I felt slightly nauseous. I am a neighborhood resident and was delighted that the blighted, vacant building that now houses Blaze-N-Grill is occupied. The exterior renovation looks fantastic, the owners cleaned the property up and did a nice job. I was hoping that the food would be as good but I was sadly disappointed. I have not eaten lunch or dinner there; but judging from the horrible breakfast experience I do NOT think that I will ever go there again. If Blaze-N-Grill wants to remain in business they had better heed this complaint and up their game. If not, I can see that corner being a vacant fast food restaurant again! read more

First time ordering from here. Ordered delivery only to learn that there was a $15 minimum, but thats understandable. Prices here are very reasonable for the quality of food. Burger was cooked perfect however wasn't to crazy about the merkts cheddar compared to other locations in the city. Fries were great and hotdog was good as well. The Gyro meat was dry and somewhat burned. Please do not serve the meat that was rotating on the spit all day. You could have cut a thin piece off and gave me something fresh. This was just bad. Also, your super gyro platter is hardly super in size. You can at least throw in an extra pita. There are easily at least 20 other places in Chicago where I would rather have my next Gyro. read more

My family and I stopped in here instead of SuperDawg since there was some good reviews on Yelp. All of the talk of great cheese fries was spot on. Fresh cut fries and a good amount of them. All of the burgers were cooked well and the meat was really good which I cannot say for all places. We will be going back and I would definitely recommend stopping in to get a burger and fries from here. The only thing I would change about this place is the interior. Chipping on the walls from tables that aren't in place can easily be fixed and maybe an updating of interior... Very good 4.5/5 read more

I have ordered Blaze-N-Grill through Grub Hub multiple times. I only recently finally saw their location on the corner of Milwaukee and Devon. Everytime I order from them I get a phone call asking to double check my order including toppings, dressings, etc. I appreciate them wanting to make sure that everything is perfect. Wait times for delivery can be a little long, but I'm assuming that they don't really have a delivery person and they just have to wait for someone to be available. Their milkshakes are on point and are HUGE. read more

My boyfriend and I have ordered there a few times. Everytime we ordered inside it would take forever to get. The food is also greasy. The French fries are under cooked. The shakes are expensive. Delivery is even worse. One time it took 2 hours to be delivered...and cold and not everything ordered was in bag. This will probably be last time ordering from there. read more

The first few times I tried Blaze I enjoyed it but recently I've noticed the food has been average and the customer service and cleanliness of the restaurant has been lacking. I just hate when a new restaurant opens up and they spend so much money on making the place look nice but the food and service suck ! If you are going to have the name Blaze N Grill don't you think you should be grilling the food you serve? My Husband and I stopped in there on Sunday afternoon and they were not busy maybe another couple or two were in the restaurant. The 1st thing we said to the boy behind the register was this is our 1st time here...given that you would think he would go over the menu and suggest something, but he didn't. So we looked at the menu and both decided to order the Maxwell St Polish one with fries and one with onion rings and drinks. So when our order was up the boy brought our order over, 1st he walked over the Polish then he came back the second time with our fries/onion rings then the 3rd trip he brought our drinks...Don't you have trays so you can bring everything in one trip??? The polish looked like it was boiled had NO FLAVOR, the so called grilled onions just seemed to be steamed or something. The Fries were soggy and you could tell the onion rings were frozen, for $2.99 you would think they would be homemade, I could buy a whole bag of frozen onion rings at the store for that price! If you want to stay in business You Better Step Up Your Game! If you don't know how to make a Hot Dog or Polish then take it off your menu and leave it to Super Dawg! read more

Steakhouse-quality ribeye at a corner fast-food joint? YES!!!! We had the ribeye and cheeseburgers, all cooked to order, and exactly as we love them! FRESH! FRESH! FRESH! Good, manageable menu selection - nothing pretentious - sticking to what they do best, and doing it right, and competitively priced. No baked potatoes, but they're adding them to the menu soon. Glad to see something worthwhile on this corner, Blaze-N-Grill was waaaay better than I could have hoped for! Although the interior is showing a little wear and tear where the booths bump the walls, it's no biggie, and is being addressed. Prompt, friendly counter service, but they still brought our food to the table for us, which was a nice surprise - but since we were there before the dinner rush, they had the luxury of time to take great care of us. We felt very comfortable, even with the kids along. Lastly, It's nice to finally have a delicious choice and be able to support local small businesses, and not some big corporate chain. What a welcome addition! We'll be back to Blaze-N-Grill regularly - and think it is definitely worth trying! read more

At no piont did I ever think this little stand-alone would be an outstanding all-round go-to lunch and/or dinner stop. I passed by it many times heading home from Lincolnwood to Elmhurst . i am like "ok, ill try it for shits and giggles"...but what a great decision to stop! Start with the outstanding service. My experience was looking at a couple "perty" girls serving a beef sandwich or a burger...but they were so much more. This place is filled with great personality and awesome food. It reminds me of Brooster's in Lombard. How do they get such quality chicken and beef at such great value and wonderful flavor. If you're riding down Milwaukee (or anywhere close), make it point to enjoy the fine food. I'd go as far to say, if you are not looking to just try Superdawg across the street, hit Blaze-n-grill first because the food is far superior than that goofy "dog on a stick". DO NOT pass the chance for a great meal at Blaze-n-grill, regardless of the superdawg legend, because you will passed by a great belly filling opportunity! read more

I came here in late April. I got a bacon cheeseburger with no bun. It was a bit charred, but otherwise okay. When I went home and took a nap I couldn't sleep. I was having severe abdominal pain. Then started the vomiting and diarrhea. It got so bad I went to the hospital. I was admitted, and was there for 36 hours on an IV and meds. The burger was the only thing I had eaten that day. This restaurant is one of my favorites!!!! Not only is the food amazing, fresh, and full of flavor, but the staff is super helpful and the environment is clean and welcoming. I can honestly say that I've tried almost everything on the menu and they have yet to disappoint! I eat from here almost once a week, because it's pretty quick, but still so delicious. I will for sure be going back, as a matter of fact, I may go tonight for a big juicy bacon burger and some cheese fries, and of course, an Oreo cheesecake milkshake!!! read more
