Went during dinner service on a Friday And it was packed as expected. It's mostly younger adults working. On top of the line in the restaurant, these kids also have online orders to do as well. I was probably there a total of 20 minutes. I got two build your own pizzas. And I must say, the food was really good. Our pizzas were crunchy. They were both really good. I commend these kids because unfortunately on this night, there was a lot of Karen's and Kevin's complaining and requesting to speak to the manager. Lived down the road in Glendora and tried Pieology when they opened up on Alosta Ave. It was a disappointment every single time. The pizza was either way undercooked with raw toppings, burnt or missing multiple toppings more than once, never mind the consistently dirty dining room. Tried Blaze once and it was so much better. No wonder that Pieology location went out of business. Moved to Long Beach for awhile and just moved back to find that Blaze is in Azusa. Tried it today and it was great, besides the woman who ordered in the store, then felt like her and her friend should get it to go instead and then get mad when it took a couple of minutes to pack everything up when she could have just ordered it to go in the first place. Anyway, my pizza came out tasting amazing with just the right amount of toppings and cooked perfectly. The company should commend who was working 7/16/19. The place was clean, pizza was great and it was done and handed to me almost the minute I walked in the door with my online order. I will definitely be ordering from here again for sure! read more

So far, I'm loving this Blaze Pizza! Not only is the pizza tasty but the staff are sooooo friendly. Their customer service is on point..well, mostly. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because, when picking up your order, the staff that cut and box-up the pizza don't offer ranch/buffalo sauce/arugula/etc. even though those items are right next to them and, from my understanding, available as toppings on any pizza. I could be wrong about that and, if I am, my apologies. Otherwise, I feel that it would be great for them to offer it up rather than leaving customers wondering whether or not they can have some. Been to Blaze, this one and others, plenty of times without issues but today experienced some horrible customer service. Walked up to the counter to order pizza for me and my kids, I promised them pizza. Two girls standing there greeted us as if they wished we weren't there. One girl began to take my order with the most monotone voice then just walked away. It looked like the other girl was now working on our order. My daughter started to tell her what she wanted but the girl didn't even look up. She just kept putting toppings on a pizza that obviously was not ours. After waiting another 10 minutes watching this girl work on other pizzas she called to the back for assistance with the line, but it's not like the line grew, it was just us and another couple so she could have called for assistance 10 minutes ago. In any case, no one else came. There were 4-5 other employees working but not one helping to take our order and now the line was getting longer. After another couple minutes I finally asked if we were going to be helped and the only girl who was actually working on pizzas looked up and said with attitude that they have online orders that were placed before we walked in. I told her I get that but that could've been said instead of leaving us waiting for almost 15 minutes. I walked out with my kids bummed that we weren't getting pizza. Walked to Chipotle next door and with the same amount of employees working, an even longer line, and other picking up to go orders, we were in and out with our food in 5 minutes. Came in for lunch and I have to say I was not disappointed. The pizza is good with a thin crispy crust and the selection of sauces and toppings is pretty great. I like that they have their own menu items for those of us who are not sure what things will taste good together. The service was friendly and pretty quick. My only caveat was the noise level. Pizza was exactly what I had ordered .. and met my expectations! Only reason why I'm giving 3-stars is because the ordering process got confusing! I initially asked for a 2-item, hoping to get 2 meats and additional vegetables as well. Hello, I would just like to say that my experience today at lunch time was awful. The employee helping me (I believe her name was "Day"?) was extremely rude. From the moment that I started the order to the moment I paid, she had to have been the most rude employee that I have "EVER" encountered. I've been to this location several times and preferred this location over the one in San Dimas. But, after today, you've just lost me, and everyone that will listen, as a customer. I asked for a manager to express my experience but she barked back that she was the manager. If you are employing managers like this person, I don't think that you will thrive as a business. She eventually gave me a person that she reported to(Dr Brown?) but I don't think she was even truthful in that as I did not get any return call after leaving a message. I'm not looking for any handouts(another of your employees who recognized the rudeness offered me 2 free pizzas but I declined). I would like to be treated fairly and with a decent level of respect from one human being to another. I hope you try to address this incident, not for me, but for all your customers. Because, eventually this type of treatment to them will most likely leave you with no repeat customers. I've always had a good experience at Blaze but this one has left a bad taste in my mouth.
